Three Towers Game

Chapter 1322: Chapter 419: The Pen of the Master of the Pen (Part 2)

Presumably, he will become Sir Leon’s Guard.

Reid didn’t say much, after all, Wen Xishu still had two more challenges to pass.

Wen Xishu also verified one point now—

He could add trump cards to himself through the Master’s pen.

The Master is the God in Pen Town.

His attention returned to the second painting, which was the most dangerous one.

There are two difficulties.

First, on the test paper, he wrote down various ways of his own death... once written, it will come true.

Second, his shadow would turn into a spike, piercing through him.

But soon, Wen Xishu realized something.

Why is the scene a library?

Yes, the scene in the second painting is an infinitely extending library with no visible boundaries.

Does such a library really exist?

Even within the Three Towers Company, the massive library isn’t as boundless as this.

Wen Xishu had a clue.

He started by writing about the environment.

”Everyone’s heart has a library, it’s boundless, holding all the experiences of that person’s life.”

”This is the weakest place in a person’s heart. Once someone invades here, they can implant some thoughts here.”

”Like a dream thief going to the depths of a dream to plant a modified will.”

Writing up to here, Wen Xishu paused briefly, waited a few seconds, and found no problems.

No restrictions were triggered, no indication that his depiction was in violation.

He knew the library was constructed.

In the eyes of the Master, this environmental setup was reasonable.

The geographical advantage was with him.

So Wen Xishu continued writing:

”Even if it is Spiritual Invasion, it cannot easily reach here, but there still exists the possibility of being invaded. For instance, invading oneself.”

”So at this moment, there’s an intruder in the library, but he looks exactly like Wen Xishu. That is Wen Xishu, more precisely, it is Wen Xishu’s inner weakness, a defense mechanism born out of giving up and anxiety when facing frustration.”

”The perils of Pen Town manifest this mechanism into the library. Because it’s himself, it cannot be identified as a foreigner.”

”This intruder is frantically writing about various real methods of death and will place them somewhere in the library, causing the real Wen Xishu to have a cognitive dislocation at some moment and write various ways of his death on the test paper.”

”But the Master granted Reid a flame capable of resisting the Evil Spirit and will naturally give the adventurer Wen Xishu a method. Wen Xishu acquired powerful danger perception abilities in this examination, and in places where consciousness and mental defenses are the weakest, self-rescue can be performed.”

”He conjured a shadow, which is a loyal defender of the library. When the intruder is diligently writing various deaths, it has already been targeted by the loyal shadow, eventually pierced by it, thus the library’s crisis quietly dissolves.”

”Of course, this also means Wen Xishu can never have thoughts of self-termination. When he tries to break the cycle and end the adventure with death, such behavior will be rejected by the shadow. Eventually, the shadow will shatter such thoughts, so Wen Xishu will forever be trapped in a cycle of survival, unceasing and unending.”

Put down the pen.

This time, nothing happened in the classroom.

But Wen Xishu heard a prompt in his mind.

[Alright, fine, in order to resist the Outer God’s invasion, I almost made the same answer as you did, so I’ll bestow this ability upon you. Congratulations, you’ve obtained the Memory Domain Guardian ability. Now, when under Spiritual Invasion, there’ll be an unknown automatic defense mechanism to the invader.]

[However, you must survive to carry these things out.]

Wen Xishu exhaled deeply. This time, the Wen Xishu in the painting was no longer Wen Xishu, yet still was, which made it so Wen Xishu wasn’t found in violation.

After all, a reasonable reason is needed for the change of scenes.

He knew he had passed the second painting.

Next is the third painting.

The third painting—Forgetfulness. The picture:

Wen Xishu stood alone in a void. His body was gradually becoming transparent. Scattered at his feet were pens and the last question he wrote—

”Who am I?”

Since in the second painting Wen Xishu acquired the ability not to be altered or invaded in memory—

This also led to Wen Xishu at this moment being unable to create another scene.

His description of the second painting blocked some paths of the third painting.

This made Wen Xishu get slightly stuck for a moment.

Wen Xishu thought, perhaps this is a question the Master himself also wants to know?

Once becoming the Master, becoming the owner of all stories, yet trapped within the stories, would one have certain thoughts.

Who am I?

Wen Xishu began contemplating certain things.

He felt it was time to connect all the previous elements.

”A healing and warm story... turned into a weird and evil one.”

”Being able to write books of various genres, simply... simply like a Transmigrator, a plagiarizer.”

”Clearly, this is Deceit Tower, yet coincidentally, Reid from Lion City, people from some prison, Longxia People from underground bunkers, and Xiong Su People from the Sky Dome Project can all gather here.”

Wen Xishu also remembered that initial line.

”Hiding in the tower not daring to leave, the King of Hell can’t find me.”

And the information discovered in the food connoisseur’s study—

I tried it once, it’s true, that pen... was endowed with eerie power. But I tried to let others write, and it didn’t manifest its power.
