Three Towers Game

Chapter 1315: Chapter 416: The Master of the Pen Conspiracy_2

This pain didn’t even bring a moment of clarity; he remained dazed, only able to think with the bare minimum of awareness.

”Bed.”

Undoubtedly, the correct place to sleep must be the bed.

Wen Xishu and Reid quickly arrived at the bedroom next to the study.

The study was luxurious, the dining room was also luxurious, but the bedroom seemed somewhat...old.

Wen Xishu discovered that this seemed to be an abandoned children’s bedroom. The walls were covered with peeling wallpaper printed with cartoon stars, and a dirty teddy bear doll was thrown in the corner, missing an eye.

The most important element in the bedroom was, naturally, the children’s bed, which, as a children’s bed, appeared quite large.

However, it looked really old; the bed itself was fine, but the area around the bed was full of dust and cobwebs.

Even so, this thing still had a mad attraction to Reid; Reid felt that lying down on it, he could instantly fall asleep and have an extremely blissful dream.

Squinting, Wen Xishu used his last bit of reason to shake his head and say:

”Don’t go, it’s not here!”

Reid, in a daze, couldn’t hear clearly; fortunately, his subconscious also trusted Wen Xishu, letting Wen Xishu pull him along.

Soon, the two were hiding—under the bed.

All the lights went completely dark, and as he lay under the bed, Wen Xishu actually felt the drowsiness slightly diminish.

Reid felt the same.

They still wanted to sleep but were somewhat more awake.

[No wonder warriors trained in the apocalypse have a strong resistance to all kinds of bodily instincts. Moreover, they always make very correct judgments.]

[But the game is not over.]

The cobwebs continued to cover the area around the bed, indicating that it was safe here, at least the bed wasn’t invaded by that sleepwalking guy.

Soon, footsteps sounded from outside the house.

The footsteps were heavy, thudding like a heavy object smashing into the ground.

Wen Xishu’s heart felt like a sudden drop; oh no...could it be that classic horror tale?

Does the Master of the Pen Town write such an old story too?

Wen Xishu recalled a horror story; a group of people avoiding a ghost, hiding under a bed.

But the ghost was head down, feet up. So every step was thud, thud, thud.

Thus, those hiding under the bed were the first to be discovered. The entire dormitory fell victim.

Wen Xishu began to analyze this possibility.

The bed was clean, surrounded by cobwebs, indicating that it was indeed a place the Evil Spirit rested.

The Evil Spirit indeed didn’t frequent here much, but if it was head down and saw them...

The thud, thud, thud sound seemed quickly to move from the dining room, beginning to climb the stairs.

Wen Xishu was increasingly certain that this creature was likely what he imagined, a creature with a head facing the ground, feet up.

”Reid, we need to hide on the ceiling, above the bed. Can you hold on?”

The drowsiness persisted; lying on the ground was fine, but using force to stay steady on the ceiling was truly a test of will.

Reid nodded:

”No problem.”

Wen Xishu and Reid decisively crawled out from under the bed.

Their agility allowed them to quickly crawl onto the ceiling of the bedroom corner like spiders.

Thud, thud, thud.

The creature walked into the study.

Thud, thud.

Soon, the creature was about to return to the bedroom.

Creak, the bedroom door opened, and the creature’s appearance was finally seen by Wen Xishu.

The blood-soaked head was indeed below.

But unexpectedly...there was also another head on top.

Dammit!

Wen Xishu’s drowsiness lessened considerably; just what kind of human-designed monster is this?

Simply put, this monster had a head on top and another head below. It lacked normal limbs, bouncing by compressing its body like a spring.

Wen Xishu felt a strong malice. It was as if he was being read like an instruction.

Upon seeing the bed, he chose to hide under it, but the opponent anticipated he would hide under it. Fortunately, Wen Xishu was alert, thought of the possibility of head-down, and immediately changed strategies...

But damn it, with this monster’s heads both up and down, neither above nor below could evade it.

At that moment, the monster’s upper head widened its eyes, smiling exaggeratedly:

”Found you!”

Its eyes looked at Wen Xishu and Reid; the two suddenly fell to the ground.

Wen Xishu felt a sinking feeling in his heart, well, this time the Master of Pen Town’s complete anticipation has led to...fear of death reset.

The moment they fell, Wen Xishu saw the Evil Spirit’s lower head, due to intense impact with the ground, its eyeballs had burst, ironically rendering it sightless.

In other words, if he resolutely chose the ground...he would actually survive.

The surging drowsiness felt like a whirlpool, continuously consuming his reason.

Soon, Wen Xishu fell asleep.

He entered a dream.

In the dream.

Wen Xishu lay on a bed, with the creature having the two heads arranged side by side in a U shape.

Wen Xishu felt nauseous, one head looking sinister and terrifying, the other appearing blood-soaked and full of cracks.

”Tell me a story.”

The Evil Spirit’s voice was filled with greed.

”A real story, full of fear and despair. Feed me with your memories. Otherwise, I’ll just have to...taste your fresh flesh personally.”

”I am going to sleep, but I need to hear a bedtime story, this is your last chance.”

Wen Xishu hesitated.

So he wasn’t dead yet?

[Your behavior of hiding on the ceiling reminded me of something, have you read that story?]
