Three Towers Game

Chapter 167: Chapter 84: Wen Chaohua’s Hesitation and Transformation_5

Wen Xishu didn’t expect Wen Chaohua to say that.

Wen Chaohua’s attitude toward the Three Towers has undergone several changes.

Wen Xishu didn’t expect that he would finally say such words.

In Wen Xishu’s view, Principal Albert’s insights were very correct.

The Desire Tower and the Deceit Tower can change the past of those monsters in the ”world,” making them no longer pure killing monsters.

The Slaughter Tower, on the other hand, strengthens itself.

Relying on oneself is better than relying on others. If one becomes strong, enemies can also be subdued. This is Albert’s idea.

Wen Xishu agrees with Albert. Wen Chaohua originally agreed too. That’s why he said that the Desire Tower and the Deceit Tower are for diplomacy, and the Slaughter Tower is for military.

Military power is always the backbone of a force.

But now it seems that Wen Chaohua has overturned this view... and has made an extremely crazy move.

Is all this related to the Dice of Madness? The Dice of Madness currently seems far from being any orange item that can be touched.

Wen Xishu did not continue to think deeply, merely saying:

”Rest assured, I will not intervene. I already understand. Principal, thank you for this lesson.”

”I intend to ask you something. Those constellations... are they strong? Have you encountered them in the Slaughter Tower?”

”I encountered one once,” Albert smiled.

”That guy, in the prompt, called Slaughter Cancer. Thinking back now, it should be a very formidable opponent. It appeared on the eightieth floor of the Slaughter Tower. At that time, the prompt I received was that I had triggered a hidden challenge.”

”I could choose to bypass this area, and the final reward completion would not be altered.”

”I could also choose not to change my route, but bear the consequences, with no reward whatsoever.”

Wen Xishu didn’t expect such a scenario:

”Did you... battle it?”

”No. We just stared at each other for a while, then it left, and I left. There was no fight, perhaps because I didn’t think it was that strong, and it didn’t think I was that weak.”

Wen Xishu didn’t end up getting this scoop after all.

Albert said:

”Remember, those beings named after constellations may not all be enemies, but it’s uncertain if they can be allies. They rarely appear in the Slaughter Tower, but their presence is more pronounced in the Desire Tower and the Deceit Tower.”

They rarely appear in the Slaughter Tower, but their presence is stronger in the Desire Tower and the Deceit Tower...

This made Wen Xishu think that perhaps for these constellations, encountering someone like the Principal in the Slaughter Tower is very troublesome.

But in the Desire Tower and Deceit Tower, it might be much easier. The independence of the Three Towers makes the strong in the Slaughter Tower exist only in the Slaughter Tower.

Perhaps these constellations also fear encountering someone as powerful as the Principal.

So the Principal’s leading position ahead of other Slaughter Tower climbers has never had anyone catch up... and perhaps what Wenren Mirror fears may be related to some methods of these constellations?

The Principal continued:

”Their power and rules also affect the Three Towers, but they cannot directly intervene. In a certain sense, they are like external players who can exert some influence on the Three Towers.”

”According to the information from your senior brother Wenren Mirror, these constellations cannot even directly kill you in the Desire Tower or Deceit Tower. Sometimes they will even provide various benefits—attributes, items, completion.”

”Or they might make you make some choices to induce you to make the changes they expect.”

”But this also precisely shows their limited authority; they cannot directly alter the fate trajectory of the characters in the Three Towers. Of course, if it were you, I would suggest considering them as a part of the game.”

”Sometimes you can also utilize them in reverse. This was Chaohua’s idea, which might be helpful to you.”

”In short, the real explorers of the Three Towers are we, the Bunker People. This is our human advantage, but how this advantage is utilized also depends. When exploring the Desire Tower and Deceit Tower, you need to think more profoundly to prevent falling into external manipulation.”

Wen Xishu instantly thought of the choice he faced with Jin Zaimin...

If he chose to be an enemy of Scorpio, it might just be a ploy by Pisces. Once he leaned towards exploring the Deceit Tower, in subsequent explorations, Scorpio might easily play him to death.

Wen Xishu nodded:

”Principal, thank you very much for your guidance.”

Albert waved his hand:

”I am very happy when you students ask questions. You are very good.”

Albert is actually a rather pessimistic person.

He knew long ago that humanity as a whole would choose easier tasks. Thus everything in the Slaughter Tower is normal, while the Desire Tower requires competition and background.

And most people will not deeply ponder the significance of the Three Towers, treating them merely as a means of livelihood.

This is understandable. He does not criticize this phenomenon and knows it is impossible to change. He can only hope that a few companions can rely on their talents to change humanity’s fate.

Wen Chaohua, Wenren Mirror, and Xun Hui were his considered companions.

But it’s hard to say whether these students might encounter accidents before reaching his level.

In fact, Albert is very happy to discuss the Three Towers in-depth with students, just like this moment with Wen Xishu.

But sometimes thinking about how young these kids are, and how low the level of the Three Towers they are exploring, he feels there’s almost no need to explain.

After all, standing at the top for so long, he found that only a few truly climbed up.
