Three Towers Game

Chapter 161: Chapter 83: My Inviolable Right

Bunker, Eighth Floor. Three Towers Academy, Principal’s Office.

At the moment Wen Xishu woke up...

Jabbar had already prepared hot tea and handed a hot towel to Wen Xishu:

”You’ve worked hard, really hard, student Wen. Use the hot towel to wipe your hands; this tea is prepared for you. Mental exhaustion is also fatigue.”

”The principal will be back tomorrow. You’ve been away for quite some time this time. The principal will be very pleased to talk with you.”

Wen Xishu’s mind gradually cleared, he was somewhat surprised at Jabbar’s considerate service.

Had he been waiting here all along?

Or did he coincidentally know exactly when he would return?

”I suppose this time you brought back something incredible?” Jabbar asked with a smile.

Wen Xishu shook his head:

”Not this time. Just an ordinary completion of level six.”

Jabbar was slightly taken aback. An ordinary completion of level six. What an unusual combination of words.

It involuntarily reminded him of the early days with the principal and Mr. Jin.

Jabbar smiled and said:

”Then I should congratulate you even more. A level six completion without facilities means you’ve obtained something more impressive than facilities. No matter what, please take good care of it and make full use of its value.”

Wen Xishu realized that Jabbar truly understood everything.

He happened to have a question to ask Jabbar:

”The first time I climbed the tower, I was a felon. At that time, the resources I brought back could save the entire lower level. But I knew well that I wouldn’t personally get those resources.”

”The second time I climbed the tower, I didn’t expect to bring back resources either, as I needed to prove my value to some people at the academy.”

”But this time, I want to know, do these resources... still not belong to me?”

Jabbar understood what Wen Xishu meant.

Director Liu had once told Wen Xishu that he had to save enough people to earn his survival.

Now, Wen Xishu believed he had achieved that. He could accept extra contributions, but not endlessly.

Although the rewards for each exploration of the Three Towers didn’t primarily focus on resources—sequences, tools, runes, and facilities were crucial...

Resources were the basic foundation.

The Security Bureau couldn’t repeatedly take away his basic foundation, right? The first two times, Wen Xishu needed his achievements to establish his standing.

After establishing his standing, it was necessary to recapture some things for himself. He had to gradually eliminate the exploitation by the Security Bureau and the Civil Affairs Bureau on him.

Jabbar said:

”Don’t worry about this matter. Actually, when you first joined the Three Towers Academy, we had already started handling it.”

”It’s not just this time’s resources, the resources from the first two times won’t be left out either.”

Wen Xishu felt a warmth in his heart. He had originally planned to adopt a tougher stance to force the Three Towers Academy to negotiate with the high levels of the Bunker.

But he didn’t expect that the academy—or rather the principal—had already been doing this.

”For the resources from the first two times, we can’t guarantee they will still be in the form of resources since survival resources are consumed quickly, but the corresponding merit points will be credited to your account soon.”

”When there’s an excess of resources in the Bunker, the supplies are recycled. The Bunker has a special building that can reasonably handle the surplus resources.”

”This building was brought back by the principal and Mr. Jin many years ago. After this building appeared, the policy of exchanging resources for merit points was introduced.”

”Mr. Jin and the principal are close friends.”

”After you joined the academy, the principal believed that the hospital you brought back was already enough to atone for your sins. That facility was beneficial for the entire Bunker.”

”Moreover, you eradicated the epidemic, which was an immense contribution. So, the principal doesn’t think you are guilty. The principal considers you a hero of the Bunker.”

”Including this exploration, student Wen, rest assured, you will get all the merit points, not one less.”

”The Three Towers Academy is an institution independent of politics but holds a status no less than the Civil Affairs Bureau and the Security Bureau. No one can exploit the students of the Three Towers Academy.”

”The principal has already instructed that all the rights enjoyed by academy students and Bunker citizens, you can enjoy as well. The principal will be your support. He is willing to be your support.”

For a moment, Wen Xishu didn’t know what to say. The first time he climbed the tower, he could accept having everything taken away.

But he really didn’t expect that even if he could accept it, the principal wouldn’t.

This old man was so domineering. A dominance that made people like him.

But on the other hand, Jabbar mentioning it at this moment probably still implied one thing—that he had to first prove his own worth.

He finally smiled:

”Thank you. I am very fortunate to have someone like the principal as my support.”

Jabbar said:

”It’s nothing, actually. Everything is something you earned yourself. I hope you don’t mind that we only valued you so much after you demonstrated your worth.”

Wen Xishu didn’t mind this. He thought it was reasonable. Otherwise, he would have to consider why the academy was doing this.

Jabbar continued:

”Besides, during these two days you weren’t here, alumni Wenren Mirror was also pressuring the Security Bureau and the Civil Affairs Bureau. Perhaps soon, you won’t have to worry about being monitored when you explore the Deceit Tower.”

Wen Xishu grew even more fond of the academy.

”Maybe you need to call Director Liu? But no matter what, Director Liu will find a way to publicize this. I think, completing level six three times consecutively will surely cause another sensation,” Jabbar suggested.

Wen Xishu nodded:

”Alright. Since the principal isn’t here today, can I make this call now?”
