When Gu Xi was still in Ancestor City, Eldest Princess Anna and Luna discussed with Gu Xi the hero purple equipment plan.

Now, Gu Xi’s strength is also sufficient, counting Luna’s side, there are three and a half pieces of orange armor that can be directly used, plus the Grass Returning Pill forest, the negative effects of purple equipment on the hero will be minimized.

For this reason, Gu Xi and the others plan to start with Robbie and Arroyo and equip each hero with a piece of purple equipment.

To enhance the combat power of heroes on the battlefield.

When purple equipment becomes more common later, this purple equipment plan will be extended to the hero-level subordinates.

Gu Xi is now there comparing the attributes of these purple equipment, considering the personality and characteristics of each hero under his command, making arrangements one by one.

Seeing Gu Xi busy there, Kro also spoke: ”You even give your subordinate heroes these?”

”Of course, heroes also need to participate in battles.”

After Gu Xi finished speaking, he took out the magic staff composed of a string of skulls and placed it in his left hand.

The special mirror quickly swallowed this magic staff.

”This magic staff can enhance the power of dark magic, enhance dark perception, enhance magic attack power, and the negative effect is not strong. It can be given to Brave Fight, who performed quite well on the battlefield this time.”

”Brother Gu, you’re kind of wasting this magic staff on that hero of yours who specifically manages the mage troops.

This purple equipment enhances dark magic, but I looked at your subordinate. He uses fire magic, right.”

Kro hesitated for a moment but still said something.

Although he also knew that there were times when speaking deeply in shallow relationships was inappropriate, seeing Gu Xi seriously studying, communicating with subordinates through special mirror images, Kro still said something.

Upon hearing Kro’s words, Gu Xi also turned to look at Kro.

However, his eyes did not show any dissatisfaction.

Seeing Gu Xi willing to listen, Kro continued speaking.

”Brother Gu, I actually figured it out; you haven’t learned many things, right?

I know you have extra purple equipment and want to use it to enhance heroes’ combat power, thereby improving your combat level.

But have you realized a problem?

Not all heroes are the type who charge at the front line in battle.

Putting purple equipment on them doesn’t immediately form combat power.”

Listening to Kro’s words, Gu Xi just smiled and didn’t explain.

He didn’t want to say that his current purple equipment plan was actually a preparation made because of knowing the divination results.

Gu Xi needs to ensure that the more important heroes under his command have at least some measures to save their lives.

As long as the heroes are alive, their subordinate troops can exert their full combat power. Even if the soldiers die in battle, the heroes can freely replenish troops and pull the squad back up.

Therefore, Gu Xi’s purple equipment plan prioritizes heroes, with any extra being distributed to heroes.

At the end of the plan, Gu Xi also has the idea of arranging a piece of purple equipment for every member of the converted Undead Combat Squad.

But given the current situation, Gu Xi feels that managing to arrange for all the heroes is already pretty good.

However, Kro’s words are also useful.

Seeing Gu Xi willing to listen, Kro continued speaking.

”I can understand that you are assigning purple equipment to heroes, but you need to see clearly the talents and paths of the heroes.

Some heroes are suited to lead their troops forward, so they can be given purple equipment. Some heroes stand at the back of the team to command, and so treasures that improve troop combat power should be prepared for them.

Not everything can be put together.”

Gu Xi finds some truth in what Kro is saying, so he starts chatting with Kro about this.

After all, many of Gu Xi’s plans now are ones he and his subordinates have researched bit by bit.

Although some parts follow the plan, more often, Gu Xi’s priority level of considerations is himself, Contracted Undead, leader, hero, then hero, boss, and so on.

If it weren’t for Gu Xi’s abundance of resources now.

Plus, with Gu Xi having the plan to outfit Contracted Undead and leaders with orange equipment, the purple equipment plan might not even be prioritized for heroes.

However, Gu Xi must also admit that there were many things he didn’t consider in his purple equipment planning.

Now Kro’s words just happen to be a small supplement to his plan.

Gu Xi is also slowly perfecting his plan in exchanges with Kro.

About an hour after Gu Xi left the battlefield, a troop shrouded in darkness emerged from the place where Gu Xi was first ambushed.

Unlike the situation where Gu Xi could take everyone away with a Holy Silver Evil Coffin.

This time, what emerged from the darkness was a troop of considerable size.

The troop, led by a hundred Black Armored Knights, protected a completely black noble carriage.

Following this carriage were five hundred Halberd Soldiers in similarly black heavy armor, guarding five transport carriages filled with goods.

Finally, three hundred Black Armored Swordsmen guarded two hundred Black Armored Crossbowmen.

As they moved forward, it appeared as if a black curtain was moving forward; even with special focus, people could only perceive a sheet of darkness.

Upon the troop’s arrival, significant spatial fluctuations were apparent in the surrounding area.

The feeling was much more natural than Gu Xi’s Holy Silver Evil Coffin jumping out of darkness.

When this troop walked out from the darkness, it felt like they were naturally walking on a regular road, without requiring any transformation, and they were heading towards Rocovale.

But before they could take a few steps, a voice came from inside the noble carriage.

”Stop for a moment, I smell blood, something’s not right, quickly form ranks, and send someone to scout the vicinity and verify if there are any anomalies.”

The window of the black noble carriage was pulled open, and a black-haired beauty poked her head out.

Though this beauty clearly had white skin, for some reason, her appearance gave people a feeling of darkness.

Under her command, the squad quickly sprang into action.

The five transport carriages quickly formed a wall, encircling the noble carriage.

Meanwhile, the Halberd Soldiers and Swordsmen guarded the Crossbowmen, vigilantly observing their surroundings.

Only a hundred Black Armored Knights ventured outward.

Clearly, they were there to investigate the situation in the vicinity.

Unfortunately, they truly underestimated Gu Xi’s ability to clean up the battlefield.

He even excavated the bloody soil from the ground.

If it weren’t for Gu Xi’s usual habit of not refilling soil, these Black Armored Knights probably wouldn’t find a trace.

As they ran further, their expressions became more grim.

From scattered traces, they judged a fact.

Just two hours ago, there was a major battle involving nearly ten thousand troops here.
