Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 1151: Chapter 1149: Killing the Enemy

Facing the Death Incarnation - Death Gods’ Attack, the Cyclops weren’t particularly afraid. They slammed their weapons outward, stood up, and tried to crush the Death Incarnation - Death Gods from top to bottom.

The Cyclops are actually a very self-aware troop type.

They’re big, all muscle from head to toe, a troop type that belongs to strength-type Physical Attack.

Normally, they should be wearing Heavy Armor, serving as Heavy Armored Infantry.

But the problem is, they also have powerful Ranged Attack, and they’re really good with all kinds of ranged weapons.

If nothing else works, they can yank Stones out of the ground and use Throwing.

That counts as a kind of ranged attack too.

At the same time, the Cyclops’ eye can shoot Laser, and they can use a few shabby-looking but absolutely useful Earth Magic.

That already qualifies as Magic and Martial Dual Cultivation.

On top of that, their skin has Magic Resistance, and as long as they’re standing on the ground they automatically get Blood Replenishment. You could say a single Cyclops is basically a Combat Squad all by itself.

It’s exactly this kind of ability that built the Cyclops’ confidence in battle.

No matter what kind of enemy they run into, as long as they’re attacked, their first reaction is always to counterattack on the spot—hit first, talk later.

As for whether they can win or not, that’s a question the Cyclops have never worried about.

They might be afraid of Angels, Behemoths, Giant Dragons, Demons and the like; they might even chicken out a bit when they run into a Bone Dragon. But small fry like Death Gods? They really don’t see them as worth mentioning.

Isn’t it just Death Reaping?

What do they have Magic Resistance skin for? To tank it.

It’s just that the Cyclops’ reflexes are faster than their brains. They didn’t even stop to think why they clearly hadn’t noticed these two Death Gods here before, and yet enemies suddenly appeared here.

In a situation like this, who can guarantee there isn’t an ambusher right in front of them?

The two Death Incarnation - Death Gods sliced down with a Death Reaping.

They cut right into the Cyclops’ bodies.

The Cyclops flexed their muscles and clamped the Scythes in place, not allowing the Death Incarnation - Death Gods to drag the blades down.

But the Death Incarnation - Death Gods’ Death Reaping targets the Soul.

Hard muscles don’t block Attacks aimed at the Soul.

The Cyclops tried to drag the Scythes, without knowing they were doing exactly what the Death Incarnation - Death Gods wanted.

The longer the Scythes stayed in contact with the Cyclops, the greater the Soul-damage became, and at the same time, a large number of Curses flowed along the Scythes into the Cyclops’ bodies.

By the time the Cyclops realized something was wrong, their own Attributes had already been affected.

And right at that moment, the Long Spear Carrier appeared behind the Cyclops.

By now the Long Spear Carrier had changed form; he held a Long Spear over seven meters long in each hand.

And on his shoulder, he’d propped up another Long Spear of the same type.

These were the three Phalanx Spears Gu Xi had bought at Pei Xin Train Station.

The more Phalanx Spears you use at the same time, the greater the power.

Gu Xi had wanted to buy more back then, but Su Jie only had those three Purple Long Spears in stock. There just weren’t any more.

Gu Xi’s thinking at the time was to give the Equipment Carrier a chance: if other Long Spears couldn’t be bundled together, then these three Purple Long Spears would count as one item.

At that time Gu Xi had even wondered whether the new Equipment Carrier might show up with something like three heads and six arms.

But later the Equipment Carrier made Gu Xi breathe a sigh of relief. It seemed that although the Equipment Carrier claimed to be Six Paths, he wasn’t twisted like the Six Paths imagery.

Even now, using three ultra-long Long Spears simultaneously, he didn’t grow an extra arm.

Instead, he used other methods to hold the Phalanx Spears horizontally.

By now the Equipment Carrier had been holding the Long Spears leveled for a while.

Right now, the Cyclops’ entire focus was on the Death Incarnation - Death Gods. They hadn’t noticed the extra figure that had appeared behind them.

That gave the Equipment Carrier an opening. He strode forward, and both Phalanx Spears stabbed into the backs of the Cyclops.

As he thrust, the Cyclops howled together.

No matter how strong you are, you can’t endure a groin shot.

Not to mention the Equipment Carrier had led with a full-power Impact.

The two Cyclops immediately jumped into the air.

And that was exactly the moment the Death Incarnation - Death Gods were waiting to seize.

All of the Cyclops’ Power is in their legs.

Once they leave the ground, not only does their Power drop significantly, their automatic Blood Replenishment vanishes too.

Now was the best time to finish them off.

The two Death Incarnation - Death Gods struck at once, dragging their Scythes outward. As they pulled, the initial Death Reaping slash finally took full effect.

The Cyclops’ Souls were dragged out of their bodies.

Then the Cyclops’ bodies dropped from the sky, landing right on the Phalanx Spears.

The Long Spear Carrier could have used special methods to forcibly lift the Phalanx Spears.

Now he couldn’t. The Cyclops, weighing over ten tons, had skewered themselves on the Phalanx Spears.

The Phalanx Spears were almost bent by the weight of the Cyclops.

The Equipment Carrier immediately stowed the Phalanx Spears away and switched to another Long Spear, a pure Black one.

This Long Spear was called Dragon Slayer.

Of course that’s just the name—it doesn’t have specific Dragon Slaying bonuses, it just gives added Attack Power against Giant Creatures.

Giant Dragons count as a type of Giant Creatures, so calling the spear Dragon Slayer isn’t wrong.

After all, sounding cool is also important.

You can’t very well call it ”Giant Creature Slayer,” can you?

So this Long Spear is simply called Dragon Slayer, not because of its Attributes, but because it sounds good.

But the Equipment Carrier was overthinking it. That last hit had already put the two Cyclops beyond saving.

Not to mention when they fell, they basically delivered themselves right onto the Long Spear tips.

You could say all the organs in the Cyclops’ bellies were torn apart; add in their Souls being reaped, and the two Cyclops collapsed on the spot, losing their Lives.

Gu Xi, driving the Holy Silver Evil Coffin away, learned of the kills behind him immediately through the system prompts.

Once he confirmed that both Cyclops were dead, Gu Xi turned the vehicle around at once, heading back along the original route.

Kro immediately noticed Gu Xi changing direction.

He said, puzzled, ”What happened back there? Why are you turning around? Did you get hit by Mind Control? If yes, blink, I’ll come save you.”

Gu Xi was speechless when he heard that. Didn’t Kro see the Cyclops in the rear already finished off?

Really no sense of awareness at all.

But in the end he still said, ”It’s fine, the enemies have been killed. I plan to go back and see who’s got the guts to come over here looking for trouble.”
