”Hahaha, they were right, the Undead Mages are just a bunch of brainless Skeletons, they didn’t even notice such a simple trap!”

Gu Xi had not yet climbed up from the ice surface when a maniacal laugh echoed from the center of White Star Lake.

Soon after, another voice spoke up.

”I told you, just leave some clues and those Undead Mages will release you themselves.”

As that voice sounded, Gu Xi’s Evil Coffin had already rushed in front of Gu Xi, protecting him with its body.

Taking advantage of this opportunity, Gu Xi looked towards the direction the voice was coming from.

At this moment, Gu Xi noticed that in the center of White Star Lake, where the lights were densest, stood a man draped in the white pelt of a baboon.

This man had the size of a normal person, wearing nothing under the white baboon fur, and his exposed skin was covered with various colored undead tattoos.

At the same time, he held a peculiar oil lamp in his left hand, shaped like a pink brain flower, wrapped in a fine iron chain net.

Each connecting point of the iron net held a small bell or tiny spark.

In his right hand, he held a long, dark red scythe with rusted iron.

While speaking, he did not pay attention to Gu Xi’s direction but instead looked beneath the ice surface of White Star Lake.

Underneath the ice, there lay an enormous corpse, over nine meters tall, slowly opening its eyes.

This massive body was thick and large, resembling an enlarged walrus, with four-meter-long white tusks protruding from its mouth.

The corpse also had about four or five hundred broken tusks lodged into it.

The skin of this body was smooth, not at all resembling a walrus from the outside.

In fact, the corpse was not originally like this; it was the spirit body of the Walrus Graveyard.

White Star Lake was initially a secret burial ground for the Walrus People, a place similar in status to the Elephant Graveyard, where each Walrus Person would come when they felt near death, close their eyes, and sink to the lake bottom, returning to the Walrus Graveyard.

This was the Walrus People’s best protection for their bodies, as no one would think the Walrus Graveyard would be in a freshwater lake.

But the Walrus People never expected this world to be discovered by the Chaoyang Radiance Guild, who swiftly occupied it.

After the Chaoyang Radiance Guild took over, the world’s environment underwent significant changes, and White Star Lake was affected, breaking its connection with the sea amidst the cold winds.

At the same time, some Beaver People, who were with the Chaoyang Radiance Guild’s pioneering team, also settled in White Star Lake.

Their settlement met with full resistance from the Walrus People, and the spirit body of the Walrus Graveyard, standing before them, held a position equivalent to Yaliduoli’s Luna.

The Chaoyang Radiance Guild’s Undead Mages had the means to deal with such spirit bodies.

They used certain measures to kill the spirit body and seal the Walrus Graveyard so that no powerful spirit bodies would appear again.

After that, Walrus People and Beaver People ’coexisted peacefully’ at White Star Lake, jointly developing everything in the Frozen Lake.

The thick Yin Qi felt by Gu Xi when he accidentally shattered the lake surface was the lingering power of the Walrus Graveyard.

The cold wind that froze everything rapidly was a seal against the Walrus Graveyard spirit body.

Yet, the slain Walrus Graveyard spirit body did not give up on any chance for resistance.

This time, hearing the man in the white baboon fur say this, the Walrus Graveyard spirit body had an idea.

The manic laugh from earlier was his, for Gu Xi’s Corpse Burst truly broke the seal preventing the Walrus Graveyard from being unsealed.

Though Gu Xi wasn’t aware of all of this, he had eyes.

The obvious anomaly over there was plain to see for him.

At this moment, Gu Xi flipped over onto the coffin lid of the Evil Coffin, holding the Shattering Staff, and intently stared at everything before him.

Behind him, the gates of Death City had already opened, and the Bone-Slaying Camp, Skeleton Shooters, and Ghost Corps had gradually emerged.

”Oh, I didn’t expect an impatient one to show up.”

The man draped in white baboon fur glanced at the open gates of Death City, a hint of contempt visible in his eyes.

”With such little strength, you still wish to send yourself to death? White Star Lake, you’ve been sealed for so long, don’t you want revenge?”

Boom!

Just as he finished speaking, the ice beneath his feet shattered, and a thick arm stretched out from under the ice layer.

”I have told you, my name is Walrus Tomb, White Star Lake is not my name.”

With that, the gigantic walrus corpse emerged from beneath the ice.

As it climbed up, it did not forget to ask, ”Does this guy count in our deal?”

”How could it, a little Level 3 fellow with no more than two hundred troops by his side? I could easily settle everything myself. It’s merely to let you vent your inner rage.

To prevent anger from affecting your spirit.

You still think it counts in our deal? Do you really think negotiating with me is that simple?”

”I knew it, you guys don’t have good intentions.”

Walrus Tomb said angrily.

Neither of them took Gu Xi seriously.

Although the city’s gate behind Gu Xi was continuously releasing troops, their power made them disregard Gu Xi entirely.

The guy in the white baboon fur was at Level 9, far exceeding the hero level limit of this world.

As for Walrus Tomb, despite his large size, he was just a soldier, precisely at Level 10.

In their eyes, Gu Xi at Level 3 was nothing more than a roadside bug, not worth mentioning.

At most, those soldiers under Gu Xi’s command were somewhat interesting, but they didn’t affect their plans.

That’s why the guy in white baboon fur suggested letting Walrus Tomb vent his anger.

Otherwise, their subsequent transaction wouldn’t be easy.

Even though Walrus Tomb understood this, the deal had already been struck, and there was nothing he could do to change it. He could only snort heavily at the man, reaching into the ice surface he emerged from and pulling out a seven-meter-long ice iron anchor.

Walrus Tomb took a big step forward, launching himself like a cannonball towards Gu Xi’s position.

”Scatter, Skeleton Shooters attack!”

Standing on the coffin lid, Gu Xi immediately issued the command, and the Evil Coffin dragged him away from the spot where Walrus Tomb landed.

The Evil Coffin had barely moved a short distance when the cracking sound came from behind him.

Gu Xi looked back to see Walrus Tomb crash heavily on the spot where he had just been standing.

With the impact, the ice surface was shattered into pieces, and at least twenty Skeleton Swordsmen within ten meters were killed on the spot by the impact.

Yet, Walrus Tomb seemed unbothered, turning to look at Gu Xi.

”Trying to run? No way!”
