Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 86: Chapter 84: Exile Battle

When Luna entered the abandoned old city district, she immediately felt a tinge of unease, as if some power was trying to influence her mind, leading her into the abandoned laboratory.

However, the entities within the laboratory were unaware of what Luna truly was. She was Gu Xi’s Contracted Undead, and no one could bypass Gu Xi to sway her spirit.

As for the Death Incarnation and Ghosts that Luna brought along, none of them were affected by psychic power. Attempting to use psychic power to control them into the laboratory was far more complicated than using an Undead Magic.

Luna clearly noticed the problem here but chose to ignore it, being acutely aware of what she wanted at this moment.

She arrived at the central location of the abandoned old city, the core of the city. When she first fused with the abandoned city, she started by integrating this very spot.

As the City Elf of Yalidov, Luna could harness the power of the entire Yalidov City.

However, she still had a lot to accomplish. Wishing to exile some buildings wasn’t something she could achieve merely by thought.

The ten Ghosts brought by Luna were now positioned accordingly, each holding a mirror aimed at the three laboratories targeted for expulsion.

Within Luna’s arrangement, the Ghosts were divided into four teams, the first three teams consisting of three each, each responsible for one laboratory, while one hovered above Luna’s head, holding a mirror to monitor the three directions.

This arrangement allowed Luna to stand firmly on the ground while being able to see the positions of all three laboratories simultaneously.

After making all necessary preparations, Luna raised the mirror she had been holding in her arms. The aura of the Touch of Frost emanated from the mirror, shooting towards the Ghost above her head.

This aura transited through the mirror, descending upon the three laboratories. Subsequently, Luna made her demands.

”Expel these three buildings in mirror image form.”

As Luna’s voice faded, an ice-composed mirror appeared in the sky above the three laboratories. It steadily pressed down, and behind the mirror, Victoria City’s silhouette was unmistakable.

However, the current Victoria City looked entirely different from the abandoned old city before her, indicating that Gu Xi’s Yalidov City had ventured onto a new path.

Luna didn’t concern herself with the state of Victoria City; in her mind, if Gu Xi disliked these three laboratories, banishing them was enough.

As for what trouble these laboratories might cause in Victoria City, it certainly had no connection to Yalidov City, did it?

As the mirror descended, the operational laboratories sensed something amiss.

At that time, all the laboratories released various experimental products they had preserved.

The sky above the Giant Mountain Spiritual Technology Laboratory changed colors as a large number of ghosts with numerous arms and eyes appeared above the laboratory, seemingly trying to prevent the mirror’s descent.

The Gu Liqian Gene Inheritance Laboratory was even more straightforward, with numerous synthetic animals emerging within the laboratory. These animals seemed like random combinations of various wild beasts and humanoid figures, making it clear at a glance that they weren’t human.

The Stone Breath Mysterious Object Laboratory revealed the most bizarre objects—various weaponry clearly resembling the opening of an armory. Most importantly, the weapons seemed to possess a life of their own.

These entities from the laboratories charged towards the ice mirror in the sky, attempting to stop the mirror’s descent.

At this moment, Luna and the Ghosts couldn’t move; only the Death Incarnation as a Bone Dragon could take action.

Witnessing so many enemies appear, the Death Incarnation wasn’t scared but made rather excited, turning into a cloud of black mist and charging towards the Ghosts with numerous arms and eyes.

These Ghosts bore the style of old Ghosts—black cloaks draped over them revealing bones beneath.

But they were much larger than ordinary Ghosts.

The smallest was five or six meters tall, and underneath the black cloak, numerous arms could be seen waving. When the cloak billowed with the wind, one or two eyeballs could be seen rolling on each rib.

The appearance of these Ghosts even altered the air nearby, as the dense Yin Qi thickened with their presence.

So when the Death Incarnation struck, its first choice was to target these Ghosts.

The Ghosts didn’t expect to encounter such an enemy, flying towards the mirror in the sky when the Death Incarnation swooped in, slamming into them with its black mist and scattering the group of Ghosts.

Then, the Death Incarnation opened its mouth to bite into the Ghosts, tearing off the black cloak with a toss of its head.

This infuriated the Ghosts, who abandoned their tasks, swarming the Death Incarnation, clawing relentlessly at its body.

Yet the Death Incarnation’s level was quite high, its body reinforced at least three times, with bones harder than steel and its black mist body too dense to be torn apart.

The Ghosts, in attacking the Death Incarnation, merely delivered themselves to its grasp.

If there were more than just a single Death Incarnation, maybe even this initial assault would have nearly wiped out the Ghosts.

Even if the Ghosts didn’t die that quickly, the losses were considerable; the Death Incarnation exploited the Ghosts’ weaknesses, devouring them in just a few bites, with its body noticeably darkening each time it consumed a Ghost.

Most importantly, the Death Incarnation didn’t need to eliminate all the Ghosts here; its task was to interfere with the Ghosts’ hindrance of the ice mirror’s descent.

With the Ghosts distracted, the ice mirror’s descent stabilized, and soon, it began to make contact with the laboratory roofs.

As soon as the ice mirror touched the roofs, the Giant Mountain Spiritual Technology Laboratory began shaking uncontrollably, with an identical laboratory appearing on the other side of the mirror.

The Ghosts attacking the Death Incarnation panicked, abandoning their assault to surge towards the mirror, attempting to halt further descent or transformation.

But the Ghosts never anticipated that upon turning, they would dive straight through the ice mirror, entering Victoria City.

At this time, the Death Incarnation also abandoned the Giant Mountain Spiritual Technology Laboratory, soaring toward the Gu Liqian Gene Inheritance Laboratory.
