The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 1155: Chapter 1155: A Little Horn (Part 9)

The envoy was executed, and the foreign alliance immediately launched a war.

Endless yellow sands, two armies facing each other.

General against general, soldier against soldier.

Great generals clash, the war drums thunderously loud.

The great general wearing a ferocious beast mask sat on a tall horse, with short hair and burly armor, indistinguishable as male or female.

”Taotie mask? Short hair?” The burly man on the opposite tall horse sneered: ”Are you the General Zhentian of Great Xia?”

At this time, the foreign states were still unaware that this General Zhentian was a Princess of Great Xia, only considered a secret weapon hidden by Great Xia for years.

General Zhentian pointed the long spear at the shirtless burly man, voice deep: ”Enough chatter, commence the battle!”

The steed neighed, galloping away, the long spear swept up a ground of yellow sand, throwing it over. The opposing man’s tall horse snorted loudly, nearly throwing its rider off, the burly man shouted with anger: ”Today, I will take your head! How dare the dog Emperor of Great Xia refuse when I deigned to marry that delicate and fragile princess, and even executed the envoy, utterly ungrateful!”

”Noisy!” General Zhentian thrust the long spear straight through, piercing the horse’s neck.

The Third Prince of Rouran roared with anger, nearly thrown to the ground by his horse, he propped himself up with a saber, flipping backward to stand firmly, but his helmet had fallen, his long whip-like hair tossing wildly in the wind.

”Dare to kill my Sweat-Blooded Horse! You will pay the price!”

”Great Xia will pay the price! If the Princess of Great Xia won’t marry me, then after killing you and attacking Great Xia, I’ll storm the Imperial Palace and seize her myself! By then, she will only be fit to be my foot-washing maid!”

Just when both armies thought the arrogant Third Prince of Rouran was going to unleash a major attack, they saw him turn tail and flee at lightning speed, ”Big brother, this person indeed has divine power! Cover my retreat!”

General Zhentian saw he was fleeing and pursued on horseback.

Three riders charged forth: Rouran’s Crown Prince, the Seventh Prince of the Northern Desert, and the Xiongnu General!

These three blocked General Zhentian’s path, giving the fallen Third Prince of Rouran time to escape. As long as he reached the rear military camp, he would be safe.

General against general could decide the fight in one move; just now, General Zhentian’s spear thrust through the Sweat-Blooded Horse’s neck with astonishing force, which was terrifying.

The Rouran people love horses, and are excellent at raising them. This Sweat-Blooded Horse was the Third Prince of Rouran’s most beloved steed, heavily protected during battle, with the horse-face fitted with armor, its neck encased in a iron collar.

Yet even with such protection, it was killed with a single strike.

Looking at the fallen Sweat-Blooded Horse on the ground, the iron collar on its neck was completely broken.

How much strength does it take?

A thousand-pound strength?

Perhaps more!

Though blocking General Zhentian’s path, none dared provoke him or face him alone.

General Zhentian sneered: ”What? Think you can protect him?”

General Zhentian grasped the long spear, making as if to throw it.

The three turned to see the Third Prince of Rouran already a kilometer away.

At such a distance, without a longbow, how could a throw hit its mark?

The spear cut through the air, creating a whistling sound, tracing a rapid arc in the sky, shooting straight into the head of the Third Prince of Rouran, swift, precise, ruthless! No chance of saving him!

The three blocking the way gasped in shock.

They had heard of the natural brute strength of General Zhentian, hidden by Great Xia for years, said to possess the strength of a thousand pounds. But seeing his power firsthand, this seemed more like... divine power!

”Third brother!” Rouran’s Crown Prince feigned a cry of grief, turning his horse toward the Third Prince of Rouran, but on closer inspection, his eyes did not linger on his brother but looked towards the rear military camp to flee inside.

The other two realized, the Seventh Prince of the Northern Desert and the Xiongnu General cursed the Rouran Crown Prince’s deceit in their hearts, but outwardly shouted in sorrow, ”Rouran Third Prince!”

The two simultaneously turned, exchanged a glance, and fled rapidly back.

”Since you’ve engaged in battle, why would I let you leave so easily?” General Zhentian’s voice called out from behind them, like an Asura urging their doom.
