The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 284: Chapter 284: Must Wear It Close to the Body Chapter 284: Chapter 284: Must Wear It Close to the Body Little Taotie was feeling a bit downcast, hanging her head low, when the makeup artist sister began to giggle, “Look, she’s coming!”

Little Taotie quickly lifted her head, her eyes lighting up.

The makeup artist pointed to a comment under the photo she posted on the friend circle, “She saw the strawberry cupcakes you made and said she is coming back to the set right away. She told you to wait for her and not to leave in a hurry!”

Little Taotie happily responded, “I’ll wait for her to come back!”

Little Taotie took out a separate box of cupcakes and placed it aside, reserved for the stylist sister.

When Gu Yixing heard that Little Taotie had come back to visit the set, he wanted to come see his little sister, but he was in the middle of a wire stunt and had to finish the scene.

Little Taotie distributed cupcakes to the staff and then, holding a box of cupcakes, approached Director Chen.

Director Chen’s nose twitched at the scent of strawberries and cream, and his stomach rumbled. Although he had been completely focused on watching the scene, he gradually became distracted and turned around to meet Little Taotie’s clear, big eyes.

“Are you here to visit the set?”

“Yes!”

Little Taotie held up the cupcakes and offered them to him, “Director Chen Uncle, have some!”

Director Chen’s heart melted; Little Taotie was so considerate, and he happened to be hungry.

He quickly ate one, still wanting more, and went for a second one. Just as he was about to take a third, Little Taotie hesitantly said, “The last one is for Brother!”

Director Chen’s face turned red, and he laughed awkwardly, “He’ll be done shooting soon.”

Little Taotie took out the snacks and candies the makeup artist sisters had given her and stuffed them all into Director Chen’s pocket, her voice sweet and childlike, “You should keep some treats in your pocket so you can eat when you’re hungry, don’t wait until your stomach growls, it’s not good for the tummy.”

Director Chen was deeply touched.

Such an adorable treasure! A little angel wrapped in cotton!

“Alright, I will definitely listen to Little Taotie, and always keep some snacks in my pocket.”

Director Chen called out without asking for a retake from Gu Yixing, “Come and have some cupcakes quickly!”

Little Taotie looked at the Rainbow Flower furiously swaying in the wind above Gu Yixing’s head, her little face flushed red, and she smiled shyly, “Brother Gu, I came to see you! Have a cupcake, eat it!”

Gu Yixing, in order to maintain his figure, hadn’t had cream for many years.

Seeing the cream on the strawberry cupcakes, he subconsciously furrowed his brows.

Little Taotie enthusiastically introduced, “Brother Shen baked the cupcakes, I piped the cream, and I also put the strawberries on top! I was involved in making the cupcakes!”

Her eyes sparkled brightly, like a little kitten awaiting praise.

Gu Yixing picked up a cupcake and ate it slowly, under the shocked gaze of his agent.

“It’s very tasty, Little Taotie is amazing!”

He reached out to ruffle Little Taotie’s hair, asking gently, “You left the set for just a day and already came back, do you miss us that much?”

Little Taotie remembered something important and rummaged about in her pocket, eventually pulling out a red cloth package, which she held up with both hands, “This is for you!”

Gu Yixing pinched the red cloth package between his thumb and index finger, puzzled, “What is this?”

“Teacher Ma asked me to give it to you!”

“What’s it for?”

“For safety!”

Gu Yixing: “…”

As an atheist, Gu Yixing didn’t believe in these things, yet he didn’t want to debunk Little Taotie’s belief right then and there, so he turned and handed it to his agent, “Hold on to this for me.”

Little Taotie, in her sweet, childlike voice, insisted, “You must keep it on you, my big brother and second brother both wear theirs!”

Gu Yixing pointed to his costume, “If I carry it on me, I might lose it when I change outfits; it’s safest for the agent to look after it for now.”

“But…” Little Taotie thought his reasoning made sense, yet felt it should be worn close to the body. She became a little troubled, fumbling with her fingers.
