The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 267: Chapter 267: Playing the Male Protagonist’s Sister Chapter 267: Chapter 267: Playing the Male Protagonist’s Sister Little Taotie would say good morning and goodnight to the viewers of her live stream every day; the audience had become very easy-going, satisfied as long as they could see Little Taotie.

“Finding the Leading Lady” was nearing its end, with the voting results being no surprise at all–Little Taotie was already unanimously acknowledged as the top choice by the audience.

Lin Zhi came in second, while Orange luckily hitched a ride and ended up in third place.

However, second and third place didn’t really mean much, as ultimately, it was the champion who would pick the actress to play the female supporting role they’d work with.

Little Taotie did not choose Orange.

Orange’s eyes were fierce, but Little Taotie completely ignored her.

In the end, Orange left the studio in tears.

Cheng Guodong carefully went through 50 profiles once again, eventually narrowing it down to 10.

Most of these 10 were commercials, which could be completed in a day’s shooting.

There were two variety shows, and one TV drama role as the male protagonist’s younger sister.

Little Taotie arrived at the filming area, her eyes wide open in amazement–the place was covered with green cloth, with actors suspended on wires flying around in the air!

“Can I fly too?” she asked excitedly, tugging on Cheng Guodong’s sleeve.

Cheng Guodong shook his head, “It’s too dangerous.”

His sister was still growing; using harnesses could easily cause injuries, and indeed, the script originally included scenes of a little girl flying, but he had requested them to be removed.

This was a fairy drama, and the male lead was the top celebrity Gu Yixing.

Gu Yixing, hearing the commotion, looked up and saw crew members surrounding a little dot, frantically stuffing candies into the little dot’s hands.

Little Taotie’s face turned red, completely taken aback by everyone’s enthusiasm; she saw the flowers blossoming above the crew members’ heads, swaying gently in the wind.

The director was also thrilled to see Little Taotie, rushing over to pick her up and twirl her around, but Little Taotie was scared by him.

The director was scruffy, with greasy hair–it looked like he hadn’t showered in days.

Cheng Guodong touched his forehead, “Pay attention to your personal hygiene.”

Director Chen touched his nose, feeling somewhat guilty, “I’ve been up almost all night these days, barely slept, and didn’t have much time to mind my personal hygiene.”

Cheng Guodong stood between him and Little Taotie, creating a barrier, “Then stay away from her until you’ve cleaned up. Children are young and can get sick easily.”

Director Chen forced a laugh, “Alright, I’ll get a good wash today, shave my beard.”

Cheng Guodong gave him a look that said, you know what’s good for you.

Director Chen wasn’t upset at all; if it were someone else who scorned him, he might have shown some temper, but one was the financial backer–God of Wealth, and the other was his beloved Little cutie.

He had stumbled upon Little Taotie’s adorable morning greeting to her fans on TikTok, with her face flushed from just waking up, big watery and sparkly eyes, looking incredibly cute.

She was precisely the Little cutie he had imagined for the male protagonist’s sister.

Without a second thought, he personally contacted Little Taotie’s agency, requesting collaboration, insisting that Little Taotie take the role.

Who would have thought, this agent not only wanted changes to the script but also planned to increase the investment.

Normally, he didn’t like investors meddling with the script, but the requested changes made sense, eliminating certain scenes that were potentially dangerous for children. Naturally, there was also an additional thirty million investment.

“Little cutie, your job is to play the male protagonist’s sister. The scene today is simple, your brother has been away and hasn’t come back for days, but he finally returns, and you excitedly run to hug his legs, looking up to ask, ‘Brother, where have you been? Why didn’t you take me with you? Don’t you want me anymore?’”

Little Taotie nodded obediently, muttering to herself, “Brother, where have you been? Why didn’t you take me with you? Don’t you want me anymore?”
