The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 252: Chapter 252: The Cheeky Little Taotie Chapter 252: Chapter 252: The Cheeky Little Taotie Cheng Guodong laughed, “That’s why it’s called The Ugly Duckling!”

Little Taotie’s face was full of confusion, “Will it turn white when it grows up?”

Cheng Guodong replied, “Yes, it will transform into a beautiful white swan.”

Little Taotie looked incredulously at the little bird that was gray and looked like a duckling, “They really do have a hard time!”

Qin Xin glanced at his watch, “It’s almost ten o’clock, shall we go watch the sea lion performance?”

“Sea lion performance?” Little Taotie’s face was covered in question marks.

What are sea lions?

What will they perform?

Little Taotie has grown so big, but it was her first time in a zoo, and also the first time she had seen so many animals. If it weren’t for the narrators in each area, she would hardly recognize these animals.

Cheng Guodong explained, “Sea lions are amazing, they can balance balls for performances and even take photos with you.”

“Balancing ball performances?” Little Taotie’s eyes were full of anticipation, she swung her little hand mightily, and all the remaining food in her hand was scattered. She rubbed her small hands together, “Let’s go, hurry up!”

Cheng Guodong looked back at the swans and smiled, “Didn’t you like swans the most?”

Little Taotie sighed like a little adult, “It was because my experience was too shallow before. It turns out there are small animals in the world that are more amazing than swans!”

Actually, she thought those flamingos were also very pretty, and those parrots were great, none worse than the swans.

She patted her tiger-head hat, her voice milky, “I need to grow up fast, then I can see more!”

Both Cheng Guodong and Qin Xin were amused by her pretentiously mature yet childlike demeanor.

When they hurried to the sea lion performance venue, there were already many people there.

Although they sat in the back rows, they didn’t think to use their “note” ability to switch seats or anything like that, to avoid setting a bad example for Little Taotie.

The sea lion began to play with a ball on its head, as trained. It caught the balls thrown by the trainer, then lifted its head to toss the ball high, catching it again with great stability!

Little Taotie, like the other children in the crowd, was almost glued to the show and seemed reluctant to even blink. As the sea lion caught the ball, they would unconsciously cheer and clap.

During the interactive segment, the children eagerly raised their hands, and Little Taotie also raised her small hand hoping to be chosen.

But they were seated too far back and were not picked.

Little Taotie hung her head in disappointment, but soon lifted it again to watch the sea lion’s performance, not willing to blink, her eyes full of wonder.

After the performance ended, the sea lion started clapping along with the crowd, its round, shiny, watery black eyes making Little Taotie unwilling to leave.

It was the first time Cheng Guodong saw Little Taotie being stubborn, and he couldn’t help but feel both amused and frustrated. He tapped her little nose, “We are a bit pressed for time, are you sure you want to stick around here?”

Little Taotie, with eyes fixed on the sea lion and excitement written all over her flushed little face, said in her milky voice, full of excitement, “They said if we sit here, we can wait for the next performance!”

“They’re fooling you,” Cheng Guodong said helplessly.

“I want to sit, I’m tired,” Little Taotie pressed tightly against the chair, her little face full of wariness, for fear that Cheng Guodong might carry her away.

Cheng Guodong: “…”

Qin Xin pulled out a map, pointed to a spot on it, and said with a smile, “I heard a certain little friend’s belly rumbling. Don’t you want to go eat something delicious? Imagine eating while watching the big tigers, eating with them – I wonder what that experience is like? Truly something to look forward to!”

Little Taotie pricked up her ears, blinked her big eyes, and asked in her milky voice, “Can I eat with the big tigers?”
