Bride of Retribution: Aloof Billionaire's Dominant Game

:”It hurts so much...” Her face turned ghostly pale as the intense pain in her wrist tore at her nerves, cold sweat broke out on her forehead, and for a moment, she couldn’t distinguish where the sweat ended and the tears began...

:”Pain? How could it hurt? People with guts aren’t afraid of pain. Since you had the nerve to do these things, you should have the courage to bear the consequences.” The chilling voice was as if it came from the Inferno, the hoarse sound and the scarlet eyes revealed his gaze filled with absolute hate and fury.

Her hand was clenched by him, the pain was so severe she couldn’t even speak, and the broken bones were mercilessly twisted, seemingly stabbing back into her flesh. Her terrified screams echoed in the secluded alley. Victoria Diaz was almost collapsing on the ground; even those bodyguards who were accustomed to bloodshed felt their scalps go numb. At this moment, Joshua Hughes was not like his usual violent self, yet he was truly terrifying. He impatiently unbuttoned the first button of his shirt: ”I ask one last time, did you tell her?” If no one had told Avery Jane this, she wouldn’t have returned from Las Vegas, and none of this would have happened.

:”Think carefully before you speak, I’ll give you one chance to open your mouth, don’t lie.” He looked at Victoria Diaz’s now unfamiliar face, no matter how he played with her, it wasn’t excessive, because she must pay for her actions, even giving her life wouldn’t be enough to make amends.

:”You already know, what more do you want me to say?” Victoria Diaz glared at her now deformed wrist, speaking resentfully. Struggling to rise from the ground: ”I worked my life for the Hughes Clan, for you, I was willing to do anything, yet in the end, you fired me for that cheap woman. I’m not willing, I’m not satisfied. Yes, I snuck into your apartment with the photos, I infiltrated Hughes Castle, telling her you were choosing another woman to match you, but did I lie? I didn’t deceive her; the real deceiver is you, it’s always been you...”

Weakly leaning against the wall, her eyes caught a flash of cold light, the tearing pain from her shoulder pierced her, a shrill scream burst from her throat. Joshua Hughes suddenly had a magic-like appearance with a sharp knife, thin as paper, flashing a terrifying silver gleam. Before anyone could see how he moved, the knife already penetrated her shoulder, pinning her firmly to the wall, with blood gushing like a pillar...

He glanced lightly at Victoria Diaz’s gruesome state, she gasped like a dying fish, Joshua Hughes took the white clean tissue handed by his subordinate, wiped the blood off his hands, and tossed it to the ground. The entire alley was filled with the smell of blood, gradually becoming thicker...

It wasn’t enough, even taking her life wouldn’t quench his fury, his ink-black eyes were filled with cold anger.

”There’s been too much happening lately; you all deserve to relax a bit.” He glanced back at the dozen or so burly bodyguards behind him, *** is wonderful, but under such circumstances, if a dozen strong men played to their hearts’ content, she’d wish for death over life.

The boss had spoken, the bodyguards naturally had nothing more to say, Victoria Diaz looked at those men with crew cuts, even dressed in suits, their bulging muscles were still apparent, swiftly approaching her, forming two lines in front of her. The severe pain in her shoulder and facing what’s about to happen filled her with terror, causing her to shake uncontrollably. With every tremble, the pain from the knife pinned shoulder and the broken wrist rendered her on the brink of collapse and unbearable...

”One by one, make sure to enjoy yourselves...” The man leaned against the wall in the distance, lit a cigarette, took a slow drag, his cold words in such a dark alley sent shivers down the spine.

The night was long, Joshua Hughes sat in the car, relishing the stimulating sounds, the woman’s cries and the men’s excited panting; this was what she deserved.

His icy face was devoid of sympathy; Victoria Diaz’s current pain paled in comparison to the pain in his heart. His child hadn’t even had the chance to be born, reduced to a puddle of red blood. The woman he loved most couldn’t forgive all that he had done. His life was plunged into darkness without sunlight. These pains made him feel trapped as if in the Inferno. Until he found redemption, everyone should be in the Inferno.
