Bride of Retribution: Aloof Billionaire's Dominant Game

Avery Jane opened her eyes and gasped, the scene before her was enough to make her blush furiously.

He had carried her into the water, her bare body without a hint of cover, while he sat at the edge of the bathtub, his large hands caressing her.

”Avery, are you exhausted?” His gaze greedily roamed over Avery Jane’s bare body in the water, every inch beautiful, enticing shapes and textures that would make any man drunk in desire.

”Mm...” She lowered her head, her long hair drifted on the water’s surface, for a moment her body seemed to appear and disappear, casting a jade-like brilliance through her dark hair.

”You go out first, I can wash myself.” Avery Jane extended an arm to gently push Joshua Hughes, with him here, it seemed impossible to finish bathing peacefully.

”You ungrateful little thing, I filled the water and carried you in, and now you want to chase me away?” His eyes still lingered on her, the marks he left seemed like bright peach blossoms blooming on her body, ambiguous and stirring imagination.

”My head feels a bit dizzy.” Avery Jane’s eyes fluttered, perhaps the water was too hot, she had just felt a bit faint.

Upon hearing this, Joshua Hughes immediately stood up, bent down to lift her from the water, pulling over a soft bath towel to wrap her up, and carried her to the sofa in the living room.

”It’s all my fault, you barely ate and I was too reckless.” Her head spun, her whole body limply collapsed on the sofa, still with an air of wanting to fall asleep.

At that moment, the doorbell rang, and Joshua Hughes guessed it was probably Julian Carter returning with the food, so he got up to open the door.

”Young Master Hughes, Mr. Hallow and Miss Miller are visiting, they said they had an appointment with the Young Madam.” The subordinate reported respectfully, bowing his head.

Joshua Hughes entered Avery Jane’s bedroom, personally retrieved her clothes, and began to dress her piece by piece from exquisite lingerie.

”Charlotte is coming over to see you.” As Joshua Hughes helped her with her lingerie, Avery Jane’s face blushed uncontrollably.

”I can dress myself.” She stretched out her arm to reach for the pair of white lace panties in his hand, but his large hand had already slid down her ankle, helping her put it on, when this man was gentle and attentive, no woman could resist his charm.

With swift movements, he dressed her, and opened the door to let Atlas Hallow and Charlotte Miller in.

Avery Jane seemed genuinely fond of Charlotte Miller; as soon as she saw Charlotte, her previously lethargic, sleepy demeanor turned alert and refined.

”Charlotte, thank you so much.” She had heard Joshua Hughes mention his bail situation in passing, never expecting it was resolved by a little girl leaving her thoroughly curious to meet Charlotte’s daughter.

”It’s no big deal, you’re too polite.” The matter of bailing Joshua Hughes might seem like a herculean task to outsiders, but Charlotte Miller witnessed it firsthand.

Her Mia merely holding a silver ring was able to ask Sir Liam Hamilton to vouch for Joshua Hughes, if she hadn’t seen this with her own eyes, she wouldn’t believe Atlas Hallow’s words about the ring being very special.

The two women held hands, sitting on the sofa chatting away.

Julian Carter was punctual, he almost bought all the snacks from Las Vegas within an hour.

Seeing the array of steaming food on the coffee table, Charlotte Miller’s eyes nearly flashed green, truthfully, she was famished.

Atlas Hallow and Joshua Hughes weren’t as voraciously hungry and tacitly walked into the study together.

Julian Carter felt the bleakest moment of his life was now, not only running around to buy food for the boss’s wife but also preparing coffee for the boss and guests, and finally, when the boss’s wife got up to make two cups of black tea, he still took on the task himself.

In the study, Atlas Hallow pondered as he looked at Joshua Hughes: ”How did Madam Hughes lose her memory, a wound or?”

He couldn’t understand, with Joshua Hughes seemingly having an intricate network surrounding Avery Jane, estimating that someone would willingly become a cushion to prevent her from falling, how did she end up with amnesia?

Joshua Hughes remained silent, what could he say?

That Avery Jane hadn’t suffered any injuries, and it was because he was too intense that she was so stimulated she lost her memory?
