Bride of Retribution: Aloof Billionaire's Dominant Game

Charlotte saw things were going south and quickly pressed the stylish pendant on her neck.

”Damn it, dressed so provocatively, aren’t you just asking to be groped?” The man wore a suit with no tie, a floral shirt with a few buttons undone revealing the paw of a tiger tattoo, likely a descending tiger on his body.

He looked quite fierce, and Charlotte suddenly missed Chloe deeply; with her around, these guys would be no problem.

His hand was still on Luna’s waist, which made Charlotte very uncomfortable; behind her was a champagne tower, so she grabbed a vase and flung it toward the man’s face, yet before she could hit him, she was shoved hard, stumbling toward the champagne tower...

Everything happened too quickly. Jack, who was on the phone, was stunned, took a moment to react, reached out to grab but was too late.

Charlotte crashed onto the cold, hard marble floor, a sharp pain piercing her back; struggling to sit up, she lightly touched her back, feeling blood flowing, likely caused by shards of broken glasses piercing her skin.

Sigh, will this leave any scars? She won’t be able to wear such beautiful backless dresses anymore, right?

Charlotte found it kind of amusing; at this moment, she could still think of this?

She gritted her teeth to endure, indeed the pain was quite severe.

Luna couldn’t hold back, picked up a champagne bottle and swung it at the man’s head.

”Quick, call the police, someone’s head’s been busted...”

Someone in the crowd shouted, and the music stopped. While Jack helped Charlotte up, he saw two or three small glass shards stuck in her back, and his face went pale.

”I’ll take you to the hospital first,” Jack said nervously, then instructed Luna, ”Luna, don’t act again, wait for the police to come.”

The man was clutching his head, thick blood seeping through his fingers.

These kinds of incidents were common in nightclubs, the security came over, offering routine advice.

Annie had already picked up her phone to contact a lawyer; these kinds of incidents indeed bring a bit of trouble.

Meanwhile, Atlas had sent two bodyguards to protect Charlotte; the whole incident lasted less than five minutes.

The bodyguards saw Charlotte’s hand covered in fresh blood and her back pierced with glass shards, their hearts almost leaping out.

None of the bloody scenes they had faced compared to this; for this was Miss Miller’s blood.

What a mess, how would they explain this to Young Master Hallow?

A drink ended in bloodshed, what was going on?

The bodyguards were sweating profusely, eyeing the bleeding man, determined to remember his face and deal with him properly when they had time; he was trouble, immense trouble.

”Miss Miller, let’s go to the hospital first.” The bodyguards looked at Jack, considering him another hassle, especially since Young Master Hallow didn’t like other men around Miss Miller.

”You stay with Luna for the statement, I’ll go to the hospital.” The glass shards stuck in the back definitely needed hospital removal, and the wound required disinfection.

Charlotte’s face was pale from pain, under the light her entire white face was covered in fine sweat beads.

Jack could only nod, what else could he do?

He wanted to accompany her, but Charlotte’s side was never meant for him.

There were many strange things in the world, like how he and Luna met again in a game and became friends, something he could have never imagined. Actually, today Luna invited him to show Charlotte that the past was over, yet it turned into a bloody event instead.

Charlotte sat in the car, struggling not to lean back due to the wounds; she took a deep breath and instructed the two bodyguards, ”No need for Atlas to know about today’s incident.”

The bodyguards felt like crying, these towering hunks didn’t know what to say.

Could they not tell him?

The matter would surely be revealed later, by then they’d be blamed for dereliction.

The hospital had been reached, they went to the emergency room late at night, and the bodyguards waited outside anxiously.

They originally intended to secretly report once they got results on Charlotte’s injuries, but unexpectedly, Atlas’s call came first...
