Dragon Monarch System

612  Chapter 612:- Goodbye Helen

These four city Lords want to use the power and reputation of the Istarin Empire for their benefit. But since they are willing to Pledge their loyalty to the Empire, they will have to follow some rules set by the Emperor. First of all, they would need to sign a soul-binding contract with Aditya. After all, Aditya wouldnʼt want there to be any possibilities of betrayal or backstabbing. He hated people who betrayed him the most. -

The teleportation array of the Lionrock city glowed brightly. Once the light dimmed down, the prime Minister and a female assistant of his walked out. The female assistant was one of Spencerʼs new assistants. She was wearing glasses. Unlike Spencer who was in casual clothes, his new assistant was in professional outwear. Seeing the Emperor standing in front of four people, Spencer sighed. Sigh...!!!!

”I thought this was supposed to be a vacation....!!!” Spencer murmured in a low tone. But Aditya was able to hear what he said. Spencer was already busy with all the affairs of the Empire. Now it looked like his schedule was about to get even busier. ʼAt this rate, I might become the very first prime minister who would die from overwork.ʼ Spencer thought in his mind. He felt he should ask for a raise in his salary. The current Salary that he received wasnʼt enough. He felt he was being underpaid. With his experience, he can tell at a glance that these four standing behind the Emperor are the four city Lords. And it seems they have submitted themselves to Aditya. If wasnʼt for this reason, then why would Aditya call Spencer here when he was busy with work? ”Spencer, come with me.”

”Your four stay here. We will be back in a few minutes.” Aditya and Spencer left them alone. As for his assistant, she also stayed went along with Spencer. She was silently following the two of them. She was fairly new compared to other assistants that Spencer had. But she knew that the relationship between Spencer and Aditya was really good. Both of them were more like best friends. Spencer was a part of the Royal Family along with his fiance. While following them, she did not utter a single word. Her face was serious. Her shoulders were stiff which showed how nervous she was while being in the presence of the Dragon Monarch and the Prime Minister. She did not make any sound. Spencer and Aditya arrived in front of a small desert ship. Spencer spotted Percy and some of his men working on the ship.

”What are they doing here?” Spencer curiously asked. Spencer thought that Percy and his men were working back in the capital. Most of the time Percy is either making weapons or armor or he is working to make the next generation of Solar Cannons. Since Spencer is always busy with work, he doesnʼt go to the Forge. Besides, their professions were completely different. At most Spencer saw Percy once or twice in a month. ”I called him here. He has been helping me out with a secret project for almost 10 days now.” Aditya replied with a smile. By now, the small desert ship was starting to take the shape of the first flying ship. ”What secret project?” Spencer curiously asked. His assistant also looked very curious as well. ”You will know shortly,” Aditya said with a mysterious smile. ”By the way, about the reason I called you here.....Come here!!!” Spencer took a few steps in front of Aditya. ”Your bloodline will evolve. You will evolve from a Dragonian to an Infernal Abyss Dragon. Once that is over, your cultivation will improve and you will become even more powerful.”

Along with that Spencerʼs information processing speed would also drastically increase. This would mean that he would be able to do more work in a short period of time. This would also give him more free time. -

Scene change_____

While Aditya left Spencer with the four City Lords, meanwhile he and Riya decided to make a visit to the 8 eights which had been affected by the curse.

He did not waste any time. Before the people above could get the blackwood, Aditya wanted to get his hand on the blackwood. Fortunately, all the cities were in the central region. With their speed, it shouldnʼt take them that long to visit each of the 8 cities. With their super speed, Aditya and Riya reached Red City which was the closest City to Lionrock City.

”Can you locate the blackwood?” Aditya asked. Riya opened her eyes and shook her head in disappointment. She could not find the blackwood anywhere in this city. ”But this whole city has been cursed. Letʼs get rid of this curse first.” While Riya began to work on purifying this land and also healing the people who had been affected by the curse, Aditya looked around. ʼIt hasnʼt been that long since I killed that woman. Within such a short period of time, they were able to send their men to take the blackwood from each city. This means they know that their underling has died.ʼ Aditya thought while looking at Riya. ʼI thought at least I would be able to disrupt their plans by taking the 8 blackwoods but it seems they were one step ahead.ʼ Whoever was behind was being too cautious and mysterious about this whole thing. Soon Riya was done. ”Letʼs go to another city.” Although her face looked slightly pale, she still nodded her head. As she and Aditya flew towards their next destination, Riya took out a Mana recovery pill to recover her Mana so that she would have enough Mana to remove the curse from the land also heal the people who are affected by the curse. The next cities that they visited were Moonshadow, Goldenreach, Bluemist, Duskwild, Starfall, Silverhaven, Shadowmere, and Crystalgate. It seems in all of these cities, the backwoods had been recently dug out. The land was still cursed. As a result, even though the backwoods have been removed, it will take a lot of time for the curse to lose its power and weaken. During that time, the number of people who will die from this curse will also increase. Knowing this Riya took her time to purify the land and also heal the people who had been affected by the curse. By the end of it, Riya was simply too tired. Among the 8 eights, 3 of the cities were a part of the Istarin Empire. Among the four citiesʼ lords that came to pledge their loyalty to the Empire, three of their cities were cursed and they had no idea about it. These three cities were Moonshadow, Goldenreach, and Bluemist cities. Huff...!!! Huff...!!!!

Riya was breathing heavily. Her whole body and face were covered in a layer of sweat. Purifying the land of one city and also healing the people of that city affected by the curse, takes almost all of her Mana. And she had to repeat this process 8 times in a row. This had left the Goddess of Nature very exhausted. ”You have worked hard.” Aditya smiled as he gently wiped the drops of sweat on her forehead.

Riya just smiled at Aditya in response. She leaned her body against him before closing her eyes. Within a few seconds, her breathing slightly slowed down. Her breathing becomes more rhythmic and regular indicating that she had fallen asleep while standing. This just goes to show just how tired she really was. Aditya gently picked her in his arms. ”You have worked hard. Letʼs go back.” There was no need for Aditya to fly all the way back to Lionrock City. Instead, he had a quick method of doing this. Teleportation...!!!!!

Carrying Riya in his arms, he simply teleported back to the Dragon Palace.

No one even knew that Aditya and Riya had returned to the Dragon Palace. Aditya directly appeared in the middle of the teleportation array. The next second the teleportation array was activated. Soon they returned to Lionrock City. By the time they returned, it was already dark outside. The sun had set around 30 minutes back. Spencer had also returned back to the Dragon Palace. Aditya brought Riya to their desert ship and gently put her in her bedroom and then covered her body with the white blanket. -

Scene change____

For the next 5 days, Aditya was busy with a lot of things. Since it was their first time trying to make a flying ship, Percy and Aditya made a few mistakes before they could take the ship for a flying test. Adjusting those mistakes took more time than they realized.

Hearing the news of the City Lords of Lionrock City, Moonshadow City, Goldenreach City,

Bluemist City, Emberwood City, joining the Istarin Empire, other city Lords were shocked and also surprised. The word quickly spread to the rest of the central region and the other regions. A few of the City Lords were able to understand the reason why they did this. Knowing the benefits that they were about to receive, a few more City Lords also came to the Lionrock to meet Aditya and pledge their loyalty to the Istarin Empire. Now the Istarin Empire currently had one city in the northern region and 7 cities in the central region of the Beast Continent. Each of these cities had a pretty large population. Now it could be said that the Istarin Empire is also a big player in the Beast Continent. He had a significant chunk of the Central region under his control. 10:49

Aditya had to visit all of these cities and make teleportation arrays in each other these cities. Without the teleportation arrays, these cities would need to rely on other cities. In emergency times, without teleportation arrays, the Istarin Empire wonʼt be able to send its troops. There wonʼt be any connection between the Empire and the City. He had to spend one entire day just going from one city to another making teleportation arrays. For the city Lord, he built a public as well as a private Teleportation array. The Public teleportation array would be used to generate revenue. While the private one would be used by the City Lord, his family, and his subordinates. All the city Lords were given the rank of the Viscount. Then he had to turn a bunch of the City Lordʼs loyal men into Infernal Abyss Dragons. This would make sure that each of them would have the power and strength to protect their territories. As for the rest, he left everything on Spencerʼs shoulders. He was going to take care of that. Pledging their loyalties to the Empire meant that each of these City Lords would be able to protect their power and position. This matter would have been entirely different if the Empire was the one who attacked these cities. In that case, the City Lords would have most probably been removed and even killed along with their families. In the afternoon of the 15th day, since they came to Lionrock City, it was time to say goodbyes and leave Lionrock City. Their work here was done. ”Your Majesty, thank you for everything.” Helen bowed her head to express her deep gratitude to the Dragon Monarch. Aditya just nodded his head before he teleported to the deck of his desert ship. ”If you have any difficulties then donʼt hesitate to send letters back to the Dragon Palace.” Helen nodded her head. No one would be courageous enough to cause any trouble for this city again. Within just half a month, the whole city had changed. Now massive walls surrounding the whole city were in the process of being built. With the wall, they would have an easier time defending the city in the future. ----------------
