Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 606 606:- Desert Ship Upgrade plans

After a lot of discussion, it was decided that to get to the bottom of this curse matter, they were going to stay in Lionrock City for the upcoming days. Anyway, they had a lot of time on their hands since there was still one month before the Dragon Grass appeared. Staying a week or two in Lionrock City wasnʼt going to do them any harm. Julia noticed that Aditya was drawing something. She curiously walked over to see exactly what he was doing. But once she saw the complex lines in the paper, she couldnʼt understand what he was doing.

”Aditya, what are you doing?” After dinner, they returned to the desert ship. Once they returned, Aditya sat down and started drawing something on a paper.

Although Helen tried to make them stay at her Mansion, Aditya and the girls preferred to stay on the Desert ship. It wasnʼt that Helenʼs Mansion did not suit their tastes or anything like that. The reason was very simple. Staying in Helenʼs Mansion, their privacy would be very limited. They wouldnʼt be able to engage in their nightly activities. So it would be better to stay on the desert ship. The desert ship was really spacious and felt more like home. So the girls preferred to stay in the Desert ship more than staying at Helenʼs Mansion. At first, Helen was completely sure that they were going to spend the night in her Mansion. But Aditya politely refused her offer. After all, how could he not understand what his women desired? Although Alicia, Julia, and Riya were simply too embarrassed and ashamed to admit what they wanted, Lilith was very upfront with her desires. Before they had dinner, Lilith pulled Aditya to the side and told him about this issue. ”Oh.....itʼs nothing much!!! I just had a new idea about upgrading this Desert ship.” During their travel, Aditya felt that the speed of the Desert ship was just too slow. Although the desert ship could travel at the speed of between 80 to 100 kilometers per hour, and normally this speed could be considered really good for an average desert ship but in his eyes, the ship was moving too slowly. What he wanted now was to find a way to increase the speed of the desert sheep. ”I am thinking of how I could increase the speed of the desert ship.” There are several ways that the speed of the desert ship could be increased. For example, Aditya could make flame thrusters. Aditya wanted to make a propulsion system that uses high-energy flames to strong generate thrust. These flame thrusters would be similar to rocket engines or jet propulsion systems but adapted for use in a sandy environment. Instead of using fuel, Aditya was going to use his Crimson flame as flame thrusters. Theoretically, this idea could work. Adding flame thrusters would practically double or even triple the speed of the desert ship. There was no way for Aditya to know how exactly much the speed of the desert ship would increase since he wasnʼt a genius in calculation. ”Oh.....!!!! Have you got any ideas?” Julia hugged Aditya from behind and asked in a gentle tone. She was genuinely interested to know what idea he had in his mind. After all, Aditya always comes up with very interesting ideas. ”There are few ways that I can theoretically increase the speed of the desert ship but all of these methods are not longer-term solutions. In the end, the biggest factor that is slowing us down is the ground itself.” Although Desert ships were made in a way that reduced the friction between sands and allowed the ships to sail like a normal ship could sail forward in the water, there were many major flaws in this. ”But what I am essentially aiming for is to make a desert ship that would sky. After all, desert ships could only run the fastest in the desert or specifically on sand. But once the desert ship reaches the hard ground, our shipʼs speed is significantly going to slow down.” The majority of the central region and other regions except for the northern regions did not have sandy terrains. ”Also, if I could make a ship that could fly then this concept could be used by our Empireʼs military and enhance our military strength.” Aditya could only imagine just how convenient flying ships are going to be in times of war. Julia leaned forward and put her chin on right his shoulder. She cheek touched his cheek. ”Why are you always working so hard?” She asked in a low tone. At first, Julia thought that Aditya was working so hard so that he could protect his Empire from the enemies. But now the Istarin Empire had grown so strong that no one would dare to mess with the Empire. She could not understand why her men were so restless.

It was as if he hated taking a long break from work. ”Donʼt you want to settle down and......” Although Julia did not say it Aditya understood what she wanted to say. Of course, after being in this world for so long. Aditya also wanted to settle down and marry them. Sigh...!!!!

Aditya put the pencil down and then Juliaʼs arm before he sighed out loud. ”I donʼt know. But I always feel restless. I am always worried that a new enemy is going to attack the Empire.” Aditya has been feeling restless ever since he met one of the Origin Dragons. 『I had a dream where the Dragon Monarch was in the center of it. The Dragon Monarch would face very strong enemies. Each of them has the power to annihilate a continent.』

These were the last words of the Origin Dragon Michael. Since then Adityaʼs heart has been very restless. ”Can you please give me some time? There are still many enemies out there. I wonʼt find my peace if I donʼt deal with them. With those enemies out there, I am constantly worried.” What was more worrying was the fact that Aditya did not know anything about these enemies. ”What about you? Are you ready to settle down?” Aditya asked Julia. Julia was the first woman to stand by his side. There was no doubt that she was going to be the Lady of the house. She always would have a special place in his heart. When he was at his lowest, she did not leave his side. To Aditya, this means a lot. Chu....!!!

Without saying a word, she kissed his cheek. ”My mother was of my age, maybe a little bitter younger when she married my father.” Hearing this Aditya understood her answer. Julia was ready to settle down as well. She has been waiting for him. Julia started patting his head with a smile. ”There is no need to rush things. You can take your time. After all, even if the world were to turn its back on you, I would stand with you.” ”Itʼs not just Julia you know......!!!!” Lilith said with a pouting smile. Aditya widened his eyes as he sensed the other girlʼs presence behind him. He was so occupied in his thoughts that he did not even notice them. Alicia also hugged Aditya from behind and kissed his left cheek. ”Even death wonʼt be able to separate us.” Riya followed Alicia and came to his right side. She held his right arm between her palms and looked at him with a smile. ”Our fates are linked. Your problem is our problem.” Lara came to his left side and also held his arm like Riya. ”We love husband the most.” Sasha stood next to Lara and also held his left arm. She did not say a word. Aditya found her slightly blushing. Suddenly Lilith appeared before him. She gently held both of his cheeks. ”We are your wives after all!!!”

Saying that Lilith sealed his eyes. -

The next two days passed really quickly. Helen was really busy with reconstructing the whole of Lionrock city. Aditya did not help her with any of this. Spencer from time to time would come to help her out. In addition to 45 Infernal Abyss Dragons guarding the entire city, Spencer also sent 4,000 troops to maintain the public order in the city. Also, troop recruitment also began along with the construction of military training grounds and other facilities. Due to all the new construction projects that have started in Lionrock City in the last 3 days, all the unemployed men of the city suddenly found jobs. Even the normal humans and beast-kins were hired as laborers. The pay was also good and everyone received 3 meals. Julia, Riya, Alicia, Sasha, and, Lilith helped out Helen with their expertise. As for Aditya, these two days, Aditya has been busy.

He has been making drawings to make flying ships. Aditya wasnʼt an engineer. So he had to bring Percy Lowe, the old dwarf who was the most talented blacksmith of the Istarin Empire, to help him out with the drawings. Aditya laid out his ideas. As a man from the modern world, he knew how helicopters and airplanes worked. He worked to create something similar. The whole ship was going to be powered by mana stones.

On their 4th day of staying in Lionrock City, something very interesting happened. A few hundred kilometers away from the Lionrock city, an army of 11,000 beast-kin soldiers had camped in the mountains. This was the army of the Panther clan. The Panther clan is a war clan. A war clan is a clan that specializes in war. Unlike other clans, the war clanʼs main occupation is fighting. Everyone from a war clan is a warrior. Even the young ones are raised to be warriors. The Panther clan was one of such clans that attacked the Lionrock city every 3 to 4 months. ”Itʼs time for us to attack the Lionrock city again.” Said the old Patriarch of the Panther-clan. Currently, the Patriarch and all the elders of the Panther-clan have gathered in a big tent to discuss their clanʼs future. Unlike other clans, the Panther clan did not settle down in one territory. But instead, the whole clan would change its location throughout the year. Every few months, the Panther-clan would change its location. Now the clan had decided to make the green mountains their home. ”But Leader, we just fought a war with the Elk clan. I donʼt think it would be wise for us to attack Lionrock city right after we have finished one war. Many of our warriors are injured.” One of the elders voiced his concerns. However, the Patriarchʼs mind cannot be changed so easily. He is very stubborn. Once he has made up his mind about something, then there was no use of trying to change his mind. ”Hmph!!! Youʼre overestimating the Lionrock Cityʼs defense.” ”Last time when we invaded the Lionrock city, not a single troop dared to stand in our path and fight us. Do you think this time the situation is going to be any different?” Asked the Patriarch in an arrogant tone. Hearing the words of their leader, all the elders looked at each other and shut their mouths. Since their leader had already made up his mind to go to another war, it was completely useless to try and change his mind. ”But Patriarch, I have been hearing rumors that the Lionrock City is now under the control of the Istarin Empire. Do you really think it would be a wise choice to attack a territory of that Calamity?” One of the elders asked in a fearful tone.

By Calamity, the elder was obviously referring to the Dragon Monarch. The tale of the Dragon Monarch was really popular in the beast continent. All the elders including the Patriarch had heard of the consequences of messing with the Calamity. ”Hmph!!!! Donʼt easily believe such stupid rumors. Why would the mighty Istarin Empire take the Lionrock city under its wing in the first place? I bet itʼs that bitch Helen who is spreading these rumors so that war clans like our clan would buy these rumors and stay away from the Lionrock City.”

”Prepare our warriors! We are going to war.”
