Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

As Xuan Hao arrived at the ascension platform for those trying to breakthrough to the Nascent Soul Realm together with Bai Ning, he didn’t give him any chance to escape, as he directly sealed off the area. Kindly reminding this little disciple of his that he would be able to leave after he broke through to the Nascent Soul Realm.

Of course, as a reward for breaking through to the Nascent Soul Realm, he also promised him that he would teach him in the Dao of Blacksmithing after his breakthrough. Making sure to demonstrate a bit of the knowledge he had gained after comprehending the Dao of Blacksmithing to the Small Success Realm to encourage him.

And unsurprisingly, Bai Ning didn’t waste much time after this, as he directly began the process of breaking through to the Nascent Soul Realm in a simple yet smooth manner. Easily passing through the cloud tribulation without any real problems before starting the process of consolidating his cultivation base.

All of this took place in less than a few minutes, as Bai Ning could be considered the fastest example, he had ever seen of someone breaking through to the Nascent Soul Realm… And that was not mentioning the fact that he could clearly feel his cultivation base consolidating at a terrifying speed that in no way lagged behind his rapid breakthrough.

More importantly, there weren’t any mistakes or hidden problems left behind from the rapid breakthrough and consolidation of his cultivation base. Instead, it only left Xuan Hao surprised over this little disciple of his and made him wonder why he hadn’t just broken through earlier if he could do so in such a short period of time.

Rumble~!

However, just as Bai Ning was about to finish consolidating his cultivation base at the First Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm, the qi that he had accumulated while he was suppressing his breakthrough to the Nascent Soul Realm, exploded forth with a terrifying might. Instantly propelling his stabilizing cultivation base forward towards the Second Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm.

 Boom! Boom!

Soon enough resulting in Bai Ning directly breaking through the Second Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm before quickly reaching the peak of the realm where he just barely managed to cross over to the Third Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm with his accumulated qi.

In the end, this resulted in his stable cultivation base growing far more chaotic, as he was forced to dedicate far longer than before to stabilize his cultivation base. Even with his speed surpassing that of ordinary Nascent Soul Realm cultivators when it came to stabilizing their cultivation base following a breakthrough, it would still at least take him a few days before his cultivation stabilized after his breakthrough to the Third Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm.

Not just that, but the commotion caused by the breakthrough also attracted the attention of the nearby disciples and elders, who came over to take a look at who was breaking through to the Nascent Soul Realm.

After all, even though he sealed off the area to prevent Bai Ning from leaving without breaking through to the Nascent Soul Realm, he didn’t stop anyone else from seeing what was happening on the ascension platform where he was breaking through.

”Look, isn’t the person breaking through to the Nascent Soul Realm Bai Ning!?”

”Indeed, I never imaged he would break through to the Nascent Soul Realm considering how much time he spends locked up in his forge and how little he spends on cultivation…”

”Hehe, true! I guess he isn’t just talented when it comes to blacksmithing if he can breakthrough to the Nascent Soul Realm while spending most of his time focused on blacksmithing.”

Listening to the conversations of these disciples, Xuan Hao couldn’t help smiling wryly as he realized that the group of disciples and elders who happened to be walking past was none other than a group of blacksmithing disciples and elders who recognized Bai Ning at a glance.

Not that unexpected considering that Bai Ning was quite well known among the elder and disciples who practiced blacksmithing. Especially the younger disciples who had begun to look up to him like a senior and sought his help whenever there was something that they didn’t understand and needed help with.

In a sense, the only thing Bai Ning spend his time on outside of blacksmithing was teaching these younger blacksmithing disciples and chatting with the elders of the Blacksmithing Hall.

The reason for this wasn’t that hard for him to guess after his recent talk with Feng Chen, as Bai Ning should have realized that talking about blacksmithing with others was also useful when it came to improving his own understand of the Dao of Blacksmithing.

If not for something like that, Xuan Hao highly doubted that he would spend any time with these younger disciples who were far below him when it came to blacksmithing, but then again, it could also just be him wanting to promote blacksmithing among the younger generation of the sect. Hoping that someone as skilled as himself would show up and be helpful for his own comprehension of the Dao of Blacksmithing in the future.

In the end, Xuan Hao decided to just stay on the side and watch over Bai Ning as he stabilized his cultivation base without being noticed, while allowing the different disciples and elders of the Blacksmithing Hall to gather around and admire his disciple.

Not just because he wanted to show off his disciple, but also because it was a great opportunity for him to learn more about Bai Ning through the conversations of these disciples and elders. After all, he couldn’t keep an eye on what he had been up to all the time. Not to mention the times he hadn’t even been in the sect.

…

As Xuan Hao was silently listening to the different disciples and elders from the Blacksmithing Hall talking about Bai Ning and the different things he had been up to over the past few years, Qing Yi had been dragged off to the Combat Hall by Chu Yang the moment she had fully stabilized her cultivation base and was about to return to studying the Dao of Alchemy.

”Why am I not surprised that you would drag me here the moment you got the chance…” Muttering this to herself as she let out a sigh while looking towards Chu Yang who was floating in the air above a volcanic terrain inside one of the Combat Hall’s practice rooms with a spear in hand, Qing Yi took a step forward and entered the practice room. Knowing that there was no way for her to escape from this junior brother of hers.

Well… Not so much that she couldn’t escape from him, but more so that she would have to endure his endless pestering if she didn’t agree to fight with him, something she had managed to avoid following the arrival of Chun Hua who took up the mantle of being Chu Yang’s main sparring partner.

”Hehe, it’s your own fault for breaking through to the Fourth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm in a single step. To be honest, I also want to try and fight you if there is an opportunity…” Chuckling slightly as she entered following behind Qing Yi, Chen Hua poked Qing Yi’s chin with a playful expression on her face.

Not surprising at all, Chun Hua seemed to have been negatively influenced by Chu Yang during their regular sparring sessions, also growing to enjoy sparring with others more than ordinary.

Following in his footsteps, Chun Hua had also challenged a few of the elders of the sect and was currently planning to work together with Chu Yang in toughening up the group of elders who had recently broken through to the Domain Lord Realm.

At least, that was what Qing Yi had managed to overhear from the two of them as she got used to her new strength and had the two of them following her around at all times in anticipation of her being ready for a fight.

Haaa… One Chu Yang was already difficult enough to deal with… In the future, I have to make sure not to surpass these two in strength or they will definitely keep pestering me instead of each other…

Shaking her head as she thought about this to herself while looking between Chu Yang and Chun Hua who were both eager to try and fight her following her breakthrough to the Fourth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm, Qing Yi took a step forward and arrived in the air a dozen meters away from Chu Yang.

But… Flying by myself sure does feel amazing…!

With these thoughts passing through her head as she stood ready to confront Chu Yang, Qing Yi soon decided to make the first move as her fire domain exploded around her and spread out. Engulfing both Chu Yang and Chun Hua. Intending to fight both of them at the same time.

Feeling confident in being able to do so considering her divine physique’s breakthrough and the fact that she had reached the Middel Stage of the Domain Lord Realm.
