Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Being the first to arrive at the scene, Chun Hua looked over towards the part of the Domain Lord Realm Ascension Platform that was engulfed in a sea of fire with a look of disbelief on her face. ”She really broke through to the Third Stage of the Domain Lord Realm… And here I thought I was going to be the strongest after breaking through to the Second Stage of the Domain Lord Realm.”

Although she had received her master’s message about Qing Yi breaking through to the Third Stage of Domain Lord Realm earlier, she thought it was just a way for her master to get her to come over and congratulate her senior sister on breaking through to the Domain Lord Realm. Never did it dawn on her that Qing Yi had actually managed to break through to the Third Stage of the Domain Lord Realm in a single step.

Even if Mui had broken through to the Third Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm, there was a major difference between the Nascent Soul Realm and the Domain Lord Realm. Not to mention, she had heard about others breaking through directly after reaching the Nascent Soul Realm back in the Astorion Empire

The person in question was the crown prince of the Astorion Empire, though she didn’t learn much of the world outside the Chun Family due to her special race and the problems that would arise if others found out, she still knew about this person.

But even the talented crown prince from the Astorion Empire hadn’t broken through directly after reaching the Domain Lord Realm.

”She really broke through to the Third Stage of the Domain Lord Realm- Huh!? C-Chun Hua, y-you broke through to the Second Stage of the Domain Lord Realm!?”

Lost in her own thoughts trying to recall the little information she had on the crown prince of the Astorion Empire, Chun Hua was suddenly startled awake by the loud sound of Chu Yang who had arrived beside her and discovered that she had broken through to the Second Stage of the Domain Lord Realm ahead of him.

”Indeed, I just happened to break through a few days ago.” Smiling triumphantly as she said this, Chun Hua soon showed a puzzled expression. ”But… How come you are here? Weren’t you at the border fighting demonic cultivators?”

”Tch, to think you broke through before me… And I just returned to the sect a few hours ago. Most of the demonic cultivators attacking the border at the moment are below the Domain Lord Realm and don’t pose any real challenge.”

”Oh? What about Elder Song?”

”Ah, I was put in charge of the Combat Hall. Hehe, Elder Song wanted me to make sure that the large number of elders breaking through to the Domain Lord Realm as of late gets used to their strength.”

”…”

Silently offering a prayer for the elders who were currently over the moon after breaking through to the Domain Lord Realm, Chun Hua turned her attention back towards Qing Yi who was sitting in the middle of the sea of fire the engulf a large part of the Domain Lord Realm Ascension Platform.

”Looking at things now with Senior Sister Ying breaking through to the Third Stage of the Domain Lord Realm, you can be considered the third strongest.”

”Huh… This…” Not knowing how to answer Chun Hua’s sudden not so hidden attempt at poking fun at him, Chu Yang could only smile awkwardly as he looked between her and Qing Yi.

Indeed, like she had said, he was indeed the third strongest, still being at the First Stage of the Domain Lord Realm.

Even if the reason for this was the fact that he had been focused on comprehending the Dao of the Spear and had decided to wait until he got back to the sect where the cultivation environment was better before breaking through to the Second Stage of the Domain Lord Realm, it was indeed true that he was the third strongest for now…

”Waaaaah-! I’m here!”

Just at this moment, Mui came flying down the mountain at a terrifying speed that shouldn’t have been possible for someone in the Nascent Soul Realm. Well… It shouldn’t be possible for someone in the Nascent Soul Realm to fly in the first place.

”W-watch out, I can’t sto-”

BAAANG-!

And before Chun Hua or Chu Yang had any time to comprehend how their junior sister had managed to fly, she crashed directly into Chu Yang at a speed that even someone in the Domain Lord Realm like himself couldn’t react to.

”You… How do you produce so much power in the Fifth Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm?” Forced to the ground by his little junior sister who came flying out of nowhere, Chu Yang could not help asking this with a look of shock on his face.

After all, he was someone in the Domain Lord Realm, yet he had been forced to the ground by someone only in the Fifth Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm.

In terms of strength alone, the attack of this junior sister of his had reached the Peak of the Nascent Soul Realm, even bordering the Domain Lord Realm…

”Hm? How? Hmmm… I heard about senior sister breaking through to the Third Stage of the Domain Lord Realm and was excited to see it for myself, so I jumped off the mountain and whoooosh! Flew down here reeaaaally fast by pushing myself forward!”

Tilting her head in confusion as she said this while making different movements in an attempt to describe how she had flown through the air; Mui didn’t seem to understand why Chu Yang was so surprised.

”This… Never mind…”

Knowing that he wouldn’t get anywhere trying to use logic with this little junior sister, Chu Yang decided to give up. Not planning to end up like Bai Ning, who had a rather traumatizing experience trying to figure out how one of the strange metal balls crafted by Mui could somehow transform normal water into normal wine by being placed in the water.

”Woooooow! Senior sister is in the middle of those flames! How amazing!” Not hearing his words, Mui had already turned her attention towards Qing Yi with an amazed look on her face. Full of admiration for her senior sister who was standing in the middle of a massive sea of fire without being harmed.

…

Looks like everyone except Bai Ning is here.

Using his divine sense to look towards his three disciples, Xuan Hao could not help smiling to himself as he watched them interacting with each other while also keeping an eye on Qing Yi who was busy stabilizing her fire domain after breaking through to the Domain Lord Realm.

As the three settled down over the next few minutes, Xuan Hao decided to extend his divine sense to cover the Sea of a Thousand Furnaces where he was almost certain that he could find Bai Ning in the process of crafting some kind of artifact.

Bang~ Bang~ Bang~

And indeed, he soon spotted him inside of his forge hammering away at what looked like a greatsword more than twice his own height. Even though it wasn’t done yet, it still gave off a terrifying aura that would intimidate even a Peak Nascent Soul Realm cultivator.

Without a doubt, the greatsword that Bai Ning was in the process of forging was a Mystic Grade Artifact, a weapon that could only be wielded by those in the Domain Lord Realm or above.

Considering the current state of the Star Shattering Sect with a rapidly growing number of Domain Lord Realm cultivators and the fact that the only Yi Min had the ability to forge Mystic Grade Artifacts before Bai Ning broke through to the Master Realm, there was quite a lack of Mystic Grade Artifacts and weapons.

With this in mind, another one entering the Star Shattering Sect would be welcomed with open arms. Especially by Elder Song, who was in charge of managing these kinds of things and couldn’t wait for more artifacts and weapons like that to enter his hands.

Hm… It looks like he didn’t receive my message because he was busy…

Shaking his head as he thought this, Xuan Hao retracted his divine sense. Knowing that Bai Ning wouldn’t be showing up before he finished the artifact that he was in the process of crafting.

At the same time, he understood why Bai Ning had ended up becoming the most favored among his disciples over the past few months as he had begun to produce Mystic Grade Weapons and Artifacts for the sect.

On the contrary, although Mui did help out the sect a lot with the different weird things, she created every now and then, she also caused quite a bit of trouble for both the elders and disciples because of the things she created, as not all of them were as useful as the slim pit that helped the younger disciples cultivation.
