Rebirth: The Courtyard Bride Is Cool and Radiant

Chapter 981: Chapter 985: Master, What Are You Planning to Do?

When Yunyi and Yuan Zining arrived at the hospital, Wan Ruhua’s test results were already out.

Wan Ruhua saw Yunyi coming over and quickly handed all the results to her: ”Yunyi, there are so many things on here that I don’t understand.”

Yunyi took the papers from her hand, looked over them one by one, and it was just as she had suspected: ”Sister-in-law, it’s indeed as I told you before. We’ll go to the pharmacy in a moment to get a few sets of medicine to take home, and with acupuncture as well, barring any surprises, you should be cured in two to three courses.”

When Wan Ruhua got the results, she was scared that her illness couldn’t be cured, so nervous that her palms were sweaty.

Upon hearing Yunyi’s words, she finally let out a long breath: ”That’s really great, thank you, thank you, Yunyi.”

Her son, Xiaowei, is already six years old, and she’s always wanted to have another child, but her belly just hasn’t had any movement. She’d seen doctors before, taken lots of medicine, and even her family had prepared some remedies, suffering quite a bit without any result, still no movement.

It was her husband who felt sorry for her and said it would be good to train Xiaowei well in the future, not letting her suffer anymore, so she stopped worrying.

Now Yunyi’s words rekindled her hope. After all, having only one child feels too lonely, and she hopes to have another to keep companionship for Xiaowei.

While they were talking, Yuan Zining had already run off to his grandfather’s office.

Yunyi went in to borrow paper and pen from the master, and wrote two prescriptions for Wan Ruhua: ”Sister-in-law, have the medicine dispensed according to these two prescriptions, get a seven-day supply first.”

Wan Ruhua, being perceptive, knew the master and disciple probably had more to say, so she quickly took the prescriptions, excused herself, and agreed to meet later at the hospital entrance, then left.

After Wan Ruhua left, Yunyi saw Yuan Zining had gone to the office next door, so she spoke up: ”Master, the nanny at home probably has ulterior motives, you should be wary.”

Yuan Yuxun naturally didn’t hide anything from Yunyi: ”I noticed something was off about her before, so I had someone secretly investigate her. It turned out she was secretly in contact with Zining’s Cousin Aunt.”

”So what are you going to do, Master?”

”It’s just as well Zining is leaving with you, I’ll see what they’re up to. Before Zining comes back, I’ll make sure to handle it, one way or another, she’s gotten too ambitious, we can’t keep her.”

”Okay then.”

Yuan Zining had been listening to them, and after seeing they’d finished discussing, he spoke up: ”Grandpa, those nutritional supplements you bought me always run out after just a few times.”

This little fellow, Yuan Zining, is very smart. He’s probably been suspecting but just waiting for the right opportunity.

Yuan Yuxun nodded at him: ”Grandpa understands.”

The reason he discovered Aunt Jiang’s discrepancy was also through Zining’s food. The milk powder, just opened, was almost gone the next day, definitely suspicious.

Since the master already suspected, Yunyi didn’t say much more: ”Master, it’s getting late, I’ll take Zining and go first, Sister-in-law Lü should also get her medicine.”

Yuan Yuxun took some receipts out from the drawer: ”Take these with you.”

Yunyi waved her hand, declining: ”I don’t lack anything, I have enough receipts.”

But as soon as she said that, Yuan Zining went over and took the receipts from his grandfather’s hand: ”Sister-master is pregnant with a little brother or sister, she needs to eat well.”

Yuan Yuxun laughed out loud: ”My Zining is absolutely right.”
