Realized Game: I Hoarded 10 Billion Defense Towers

”Brother Fei!”

Shen Fei had been about to make a quick departure, planning to use the six-day grace period after inheriting his game abilities to go and perform some Detection in a special region. He never expected that before he could even leave, he would be stopped by Xiaohong, who had brought Succubus’s Tear along with her. Most of the people who had gathered around Shen Fei for his ”instructions” had already heard what they needed to and departed.

”You two?” Looking at Xiaohong, who had stopped him, Shen Fei couldn’t help but ask.

Xiaohong’s Succubus bloodline had made him see her in a new light. However, for some unknown reason, Xiaohong had been intentionally avoiding him recently and had even moved out of the Shen Family villa.

Now that Xiaohong had approached him for the briefing on the version update, Shen Fei felt that he should, by all rights, have a proper talk with her. Unfortunately, he was worried that the version 4.6 and 4.7 updates would cause major chaos in the special regions, so he didn’t have the time. He hadn’t expected that even if he didn’t initiate a conversation, Xiaohong would take the initiative to talk to him. In response to Xiaohong’s call, all Shen Fei could do was stop and turn to look at her.

”Brother Fei!”

”Which bloodline should we choose?”

”The Human Race isn’t one of our bloodline options!”

Seeing Shen Fei stop for her, Xiaohong didn’t hesitate to explain her situation. She knew Shen Fei had very important things to do at the moment and that this wasn’t the time for personal matters. So, when Xiaohong spoke, she got straight to the point.

”It’s not an option?”

Xiaohong’s words made Shen Fei pause for a moment. He understood that her problem stemmed from the Version 4.6 bloodline update. The game ability Xiaohong had inherited came from a power called the ”Succubus Bloodline.” Now, Version 4.6 happened to involve bloodlines, and just as he suspected, her related bloodline had run into a problem.

”That’s right.”

”It’s not an option!”

”My bloodline only has three options: Succubus, Shadow Demon, and Succubus!”

”It’s not just me. The whole group of us who inherited abilities from the Succubus game—none of us have the Human Race bloodline as an option!”

Xiaohong explained her situation to Shen Fei without hesitation. At the same time, she told him that Succubus’s Tear, who was standing beside her, was in the same situation.

Just as I thought.

Shen Fei frowned after hearing Xiaohong’s words. Although he had told everyone to choose the Human Race if possible to avoid being directly ”controlled” by beings with higher, purer bloodlines in the future, many people had still chosen non-human bloodlines. Among them were players who chose powerful bloodlines in pursuit of more strength, and then there were people like Xiaohong and her group, who simply couldn’t choose the Human Race at all, as all the options they were given were non-human bloodlines. In a situation like this, even if people like Xiaohong wanted to choose the Human Race, they had no way or means to do so...

”Then choose the Succubus race!”

”Record the changes from your bloodline mutation every day!”

”If anything happens, report to me immediately!”

”Also, you can form a team to gather more information on players who didn’t inherit the Human Race bloodline!”

After a moment of rapid thought, Shen Fei gave Xiaohong his suggestions. Since the Human Race wasn’t an option, the only thing to do was to choose the best of the available choices: the Succubus race. However, since a player with a non-human bloodline had appeared right in front of him, Shen Fei immediately had Xiaohong establish a team to observe and collect information on players with non-human bloodlines.

”Oh, right!”

”Here, I’ll give you each one of these!”

”After you choose the Succubus bloodline, you can try using this. It would be best if you can record the relevant changes in your data!”

As he told Xiaohong to make her choice, Shen Fei thought for a moment, then took out two [Bloodline Gemstone] items and gave them to Xiaohong and Succubus’s Tear. During the previous mandatory five-person invasion of the Game World, Succubus’s Tear had given her entire share of the reward to Shen Fei. Now, although a single [Bloodline Gemstone] was worth several hundred million Credit Points, Shen Fei still decided to give one to each of them.

The [Bloodline Gemstone] was an excellent item, but it couldn’t be used by humans—or rather, those with the Human Race bloodline. It could only be used by non-human bloodlines. Previously, Shen Fei only knew that the item was powerful but was unaware of its specific data. Now that Xiaohong, a player with a non-human bloodline, was right here with him, it was necessary to have her use the [Bloodline Gemstone] to test the item’s effects once she chose her bloodline and completed the transformation process.

AH!

AH!

At Shen Fei’s request, they had chosen the non-human Succubus bloodline, but Xiaohong and Succubus’s Tear never thought they would each receive a [Bloodline Gemstone] in return. You have to understand, the Bloodline Gemstone was a renowned super-item on the Forum. Many people greatly admired Shen Fei for intentionally leaving the monster tides. This was because of a game mechanic: the bosses that appeared after a tide was over were guaranteed to drop a Bloodline Gemstone when killed.

Now, an item worth five or six hundred million Credit Points on the Forum was being given to them by Shen Fei. The two of them were instantly thrilled. This item’s price was too high! They felt it was too much to handle.

”Take them!”

”Your mission is to help me test the changes in your own Attributes after using this item!”

”I’m not giving them to you for free!”

Without another word, Shen Fei gave the items to the two of them and quickly relayed a few instructions, not wasting any more words.
