Realized Game: I Hoarded 10 Billion Defense Towers

Across all of Qing City, aside from the cheers of ordinary people and new players eagerly asking veterans for information, nothing much of note was happening.

Instead, it was the veteran players who were all excitedly waiting for something. Thanks to Shen Fei’s presence, the veterans of Qing City had all become a bit spoiled. After every new version update, they always wanted to perform their absolute best. This time was no different.

Most players in other cities had chosen to unlock their Experience Bars in Version 4.7. Under the rules of Version 4.6, they had also immediately chosen the bloodlines most advantageous to them. However, the players of Qing City were different. After all, the choices for both Version 4.6 and 4.7 had countdown timers. They wanted to make the perfect choice, so they were all waiting for Shen Fei to provide advice, allowing them to make the optimal decision.

Many high-ranking members of the Tourism Management Office and the Heaven-Reaching Gang had just received news that Brother Kaipan had been invited to bring Qing City’s leadership to meet with Brother Chongtian and listen to his insights on the version update. The veteran players of Qing City remained calm, all waiting for the final word. They were already certain that no matter what Brother Chongtian said, they would follow his instructions to the letter. Based on past experience, Brother Chongtian was never wrong.

Like the veterans, many of Qing City’s ordinary people were also silently awaiting Brother Chongtian’s directive. Though they were excitedly checking messages on the Forum after receiving their new panels and gaining access, they were much better informed than new players from other cities. Because they had just activated their personal panels, they would not get an opportunity to unlock a restriction today. They would have to wait for the next Version 4.7 update for the chance to unlock their Experience Bars or other features. However, they did have the ability to choose a bloodline in Version 4.6.

Therefore, everyone was waiting. They were all waiting for the strongest person in Qing City to give his advice. Everyone in Qing City would follow Brother Chongtian’s recommendation without hesitation, doing exactly as he said. They were his most steadfast supporters.

.

”Alright!” Shen Fei announced. ”Regarding Version 4.6, unless you’ve inherited a very special and absolutely essential bloodline, stick to the Human Race bloodline! It’s best not to change it. Some special bloodlines will make you involuntarily submit to creatures with a higher-grade bloodline. That’s a huge problem!”

Just as the players of Qing City had hoped, Shen Fei was giving instructions to the people gathered on the walls of Yang City. A moment ago, Sun Yu had brought Zhang Qiqiang, Wang Dapang, Father Shen, Li Xiaohong, and even Tears of the Succubus to the city. Without wasting time on pleasantries, Shen Fei immediately began to brief everyone on Version 4.6.

Version 4.4, which concerned Secret Realms, had also just updated. However, that update only changed their combat mechanics, which could be figured out after a few tests. He didn’t need to arrange anything for that. Thus, Shen Fei started directly with the newly released Version 4.6.

In his memory, the Version 4.6 update offered immense short-term gains in Combat Power for players who chose the bloodline of another creature. For example, a player with a physically weak constitution, such as a Mage or another ranged class with high Attack Power but low Defense Power, could instantly remedy their fragility. By choosing a bloodline from a creature with immense defense and health, like a Raging Bull or a Giant Elephant, their defenses would be massively strengthened. Some people’s bodies might even manifest physical traits from their new bloodline, such as beast ears or a tail.

Version 4.6 not only allowed players to mix and match abilities and bloodlines—pairing strengths with weaknesses to achieve an effect greater than the sum of its parts—but it also let them enhance their original abilities. For instance, a Summoner who could call upon a specific beast pack could change their own bloodline to match that of their summons. There was a high probability that their own skills, Auras, or items could then be used on their Summoned Beasts. The resulting enhancement could be several, even tens or hundreds, of times more effective.

In the early stages, the short-term boost to a player’s abilities from Version 4.6 was immense. However, Shen Fei recalled hearing a piece of news: when two players of the same bloodline faced off, the one with the higher-grade bloodline could directly ”control” the other. The player with the lower-grade bloodline would be involuntarily manipulated.

With this in mind, Shen Fei’s advice was that unless absolutely necessary, it was better to remain human. He knew that countless Super Bosses had emerged from the special zones. Since players with high-purity bloodlines could ”control” those with lower-purity bloodlines, Shen Fei felt it was entirely possible for a Super Boss of a certain bloodline to control human players who had chosen a lower-purity version of that same bloodline. Although this was just speculation, he still felt it wasn’t a risk worth taking.

While advising the others, Shen Fei also quickly made his own selection for Version 4.6 on his panel. As the countdown for the bloodline choice ticked down, three options appeared on everyone’s panel.
