Realized Game: I Hoarded 10 Billion Defense Towers

He now understood that he didn’t need to worry too much about future monster tides either. Originally, he felt that everyone was still relatively ”weak” since they hadn’t finished inheriting their abilities. He had planned to step in and help them fend off the monsters, reducing casualties among the already scarce player base. He hadn’t expected, however, that his intervention was no longer really needed. If he were too proactive, people might think he was trying to snatch their ”fortunes.”

Good news... Shen Fei mused to himself after thinking it all through. I can create a bounty board for the Qing City players! I can get them to explore the surrounding environment and gather more intel that I don’t have time to get myself!

Thinking about how other players were fearlessly confronting bosses, all driven by the 500 million Credit Points, Shen Fei quickly had another idea. He had easily dealt with Qing City’s boss, which meant the players there no longer had a chance to earn that reward. Under these circumstances, he ought to create a new way for the players of Qing City to earn Credit Points.

It would be just like a bounty hall. Backed by the Ninth World, he had a virtually infinite supply of Credit Points. He could use these to mobilize the massive player base in Qing City. Although he could view any intel obtained by Qing City’s players for free, thanks to the unified management of the Qing City Tourism Management Office, the incentive of Credit Points would definitely push them to unleash even greater power. That much had already been proven.

After making his new decision, Shen Fei immediately sent it to Sun Yu, telling him to work with Zhang Qiqiang on a proposal as soon as possible. Then, he opened the Forum to browse the discussions.

He saw that as more and more monster tide bosses were killed, an increasing number of [Bloodline Gemstone] Attributes were appearing in the replies to the 500-million-Credit-Point buyout thread. Within that thread, the most heated topic of discussion was why a player would have 500 million Credit Points to buy out [Bloodline Gemstone]s, and what exactly the purified bloodlines from these Gemstones were. The second most heated topic, surprisingly, was Shen Fei himself.

”Brother Chongtian really is farsighted!”

”Yeah! Before, some people were saying it was a bad idea to leave the Monster Nests standing!”

”Now you see, right? These things, the big boss that spawns with every monster tide each week, is worth 500 million! And that’s not all!”

”Yeah!”

”Follow Brother Chongtian, and you’re guaranteed to survive!!”

”Whatever Brother Chongtian does, just trust him blindly!!”

.

In the thread, everyone was remarking on how important it was that they had followed Shen Fei and left the Monster Nests intact. By this point, the monster tide bosses in most cities had been killed. After a boss was defeated, a health bar would reappear over its Monster Nest, indicating it could now be destroyed. This time, however, not a single person discussed destroying the Nests. The [Bloodline Gemstone]s obtained from killing the bosses had made countless players treat the Monster Nests as their lifelines.

Not bad! He hadn’t expected the narrative to shift like this. After reading through the thread, Shen Fei couldn’t help but smack his lips.

Then, his eyes widened in an instant.

The version update he was waiting for hadn’t arrived!

Instead, he received an unbelievably urgent message from Huang Yi, sent directly through the Divine Artifact Link:

”Brother Fei!!”

”This is bad!!”

”Mars is gone!!!”

”Someone destroyed Mars!!”

”The surviving astronomers just suddenly observed that Mars is gone!!”

”A hole several hundred meters in diameter suddenly appeared on Mars, and then the whole planet just exploded!!!!”
