Realized Game: I Hoarded 10 Billion Defense Towers

To do this, he had even used a super bug-like item to trace the intrusion back into the Game World, obtaining six sets of super items in the process. Furthermore, one of them, a [Heroic Mark], had gotten all the NPCs and Super Bosses in that special area incredibly excited...

”Brother Fei!! That mandatory quest, it’s global! People from every country were forcibly pulled into the Game World to complete it! Do you remember how the time limit for that mandatory quest was seven days?! Well, that seven-day period is ending right now!”

Huang Yi quickly reported the details of the situation to Shen Fei. Seeing that Shen Fei didn’t respond, he continued speaking rapidly, ”Just now, the special department at the Divine Capital’s Tourism Management Office headquarters used Great Xia’s National Treasure Divine Artifact, [Chaos Mahjong], to contact the Divine Artifact holders from other countries! The news is not looking good at all! About eighty percent of the people they tried to contact are unreachable! And the special departments have confirmed this multiple times!”

Holding nothing back, Huang Yi told Shen Fei all the secret intelligence that the Divine Capital Tourism Management Office headquarters had gathered.

”So that means they were able to contact the other twenty percent?” Shen Fei’s expression flickered after hearing what Huang Yi said.

He didn’t know if the quests players from other countries had to complete were the same as the one encountered by Great Xia’s six-person team. The fact that twenty percent of the foreign Divine Artifact holders could still be contacted meant that players from over a dozen other countries had completed their quests and returned from the quest world.

And in that case, the [Heroic Mark] that can pique the interest of Intelligent NPCs and Super Bosses might not be exclusive to me.

That indirectly made the item in his hands significantly less valuable...

”Right!” Huang Yi replied quickly. ”We were able to contact twenty percent of the Divine Artifact holders! However, some of the Divine Artifact holders are now different people! It’s likely they either died during the quest or had their Divine Artifact stolen afterward...”

After explaining the basics, he quickly got to the main point.

”Brother Fei! The main point is! Someone just posted a thread on the Forum! In the last wave of ability inheritances, this person actually inherited a National Treasure Divine Artifact! And it’s a Divine Artifact from India!!”

Huang Yi’s revelation was something Shen Fei had never even considered.

”What?” Shen Fei couldn’t help but exclaim in shock. To think that someone had, in the recent inheritance, inherited a National Treasure Divine Artifact from the game—one that originally belonged to the real world.

A National Treasure Divine Artifact can be inherited from the game. On one hand, that means a player lost a real-world National Treasure Divine Artifact in the game. On the other, it means people from India were also pulled into the Game World for that mandatory quest. Third, it means the Game World someone is inheriting from was invaded by a player from India. Otherwise, a Divine Artifact wouldn’t have been lost in the Game World, only to be inherited back out...

”Where are they? Have you made contact?” His mind racing, Shen Fei immediately asked the most important question.

This player has to be found. Finding this person isn’t about snatching the Divine Artifact from them. Rather, since this person could inherit a Divine Artifact from India, it proves that the Game World they’re inheriting from has undergone some kind of change. And if we can get this person to log back into the game, we could surely detect a lot of information I desperately want...

”We’re on it!” Huang Yi answered. ”After this person posted the Attributes of the National Treasure Divine Artifact, it blew up the entire Forum! That’s also why, as soon as they realized something was wrong, they immediately deleted the post and used Shadow Escape... But as long as there’s some trace of information, the special departments have a good chance of tracking them down...”

”So! The important thing now is to find other players who might have obtained a National Treasure Divine Artifact in this inheritance wave?” Having grasped the situation, Shen Fei immediately understood why Huang Yi had sought him out.

It was obvious. Since one National Treasure Divine Artifact from India had appeared, it was highly likely that more Divine Artifacts had been inherited. To get more information about the changes happening in the Game World, it was necessary to find these people as quickly as possible and help them log back into the Game World.

”Exactly!” Huang Yi quickly stated his main purpose. ”The higher-ups at the Tourism Management Office headquarters want to ask you, Brother Fei, to make a statement! At the same time, Tourism Management Office headquarters will issue a coordinated announcement! Zhao Li and a few other famous players with high Combat Power have also agreed to cooperate!”

”Are there any strings attached?” Shen Fei couldn’t help but ask.

Huang Yi quickly relayed the intentions of the headquarters’ higher-ups. ”None, none at all! We won’t ask for their Divine Artifacts! The main goal is to probe for intelligence about the related Game Worlds!”

”Alright! I’ll do it.”

After hearing Huang Yi’s request, Shen Fei thought for a moment and agreed. He was also very interested in the situation within the Game World. He had originally thought that real-world players would inherit a wave of game abilities each week, while the Game World would just passively wait to be inherited from. But Shen Fei had never expected the changes taking place in the Game World to be just as significant as those in reality. Now, there were Game Worlds invading each other and NPCs crossing between them at will. Even real-world players could counter-invade and enter the Game World.
