Realized Game: I Hoarded 10 Billion Defense Towers

Chapter 39: Chapter 38: Reported! Ban the ”Skyrocketing” Account

The data showing that Shen Fei had spent nearly 2 billion on Krypton Gold had already been calculated and was circulating online.

This was already incredibly eye-catching on its own.

At this moment, because of the so-called game inheritance, the attention he was attracting had increased hundreds of times over.

”Brother Chongtian! Give us Gold Coins! Or we’ll report you!”

”Brother Chongtian! Give us Gold Coins! Or we’ll report you!”

”Brother Chongtian! Give us Gold Coins! Or we’ll report you!”

...

To Shen Fei’s bewilderment, a trend had somehow started. Soon, everyone in the World Channel began tagging him. All the messages were neatly aligned, demanding that he distribute Gold Coins.

If he didn’t, the players would form a ”reporting army” to report him.

”Reason for reporting, number one: A bad influence on minors!”

”Reason for reporting, number two: With so much Krypton Gold spending, investigate the source of his funds!”

”Reason for reporting, number three: The game Tower Defense of Ten Thousand Realms is pushing the boundaries with lewd content! It has scantily clad Succubus butlers and NPCs...”

”Reason for reporting, number four: Someone is using the Tower Defense of Ten Thousand Realms game for money laundering!”

...

Player ingenuity was limitless. Soon, some clever troublemakers had listed out the methods and content for everyone to report Shen Fei and his account. They even included the websites and phone numbers for reporting.

Some people felt that reporting the ”Skyrocketing” account wasn’t enough; they also wanted to report the game *Tower Defense of Ten Thousand Realms*.

Their attitude was clear: ’If I can’t have it good, I won’t let you have it good either! You spent so much; if the game gets banned and the world really does merge, I’ll be happy to see you suffer...’

The trend caught on quickly. People were already starting to post pictures on the Forum of their successful reports.

What the hell!

Shen Fei was speechless. In the blink of an eye, less than three minutes after logging on, he had been mass-reported.

Of course, he wasn’t afraid of the *Tower Defense of Ten Thousand Realms* game shutting down. He also wasn’t afraid of so-called official organizations investigating him. He was even less afraid of his account being banned.

At this moment, he was only afraid of one thing: his account data being wiped clean.

Once his account data was wiped, he would be just like ”Mushroom Enthusiast.”

”Yu, send a notice to the *Tower Defense of Ten Thousand Realms* game company. Say that I want to acquire them!”

”Tell them to name their price!”

Although the chance of his game data being wiped was very small, Shen Fei wanted to eliminate even the smallest possibility. After a moment’s thought, he had Sun Yu directly send an acquisition letter to the game company.

Of course, he didn’t actually have the guts to acquire the company.

However, he did have the guts to use the pretense of an acquisition to buy some time. A lot of guts, in fact!

There were only a dozen or so hours left anyway. As long as he could stall, his goal would be achieved.

”Right away!”

Sun Yu, who had been online for a while waiting for Shen Fei’s instructions, immediately carried out the order.

”Hm?”

Shen Fei was about to go to the World Channel to calm the players down and stop the trend from escalating when he suddenly froze.

He saw that a line of text had appeared above the head of his butler, Sky Control, who had already returned to the Floating City:

”Respected Master, I have something to present to you!”

His butler, Sky Control, like a Hero, had only ever accepted commands in the past and would never speak on his own initiative. Yet at this moment, he had spoken automatically, without any input from Shen Fei.

Holy crap! Is this a precursor to the game invasion? Or did the game company update the NPC data?

Sky Control’s sudden autonomous speech startled Shen Fei.

In his past life, on the day of the game invasion, he hadn’t paid any attention to whether the game’s NPCs would speak on their own!

What’s going on!?

Sky Control’s sudden initiative drew all of Shen Fei’s attention. He instantly focused on it with his entire being.

...

...

「Xia Country, Divine Capital」

In the Emergency Affairs Security Bureau, all personnel were present and busy at work.

After several hours of investigation and research, the official organization had confirmed that the mysterious voice was real. Although the news was reporting something else entirely, everyone on the inside knew that things had gotten serious.

At this moment, the Emergency Affairs Security Bureau was busy with three things:

First, they were collecting data on all gamers nationwide, investigating their real-life identities, and quickly compiling statistics, especially for players who had spent over 10,000 on Krypton Gold.

Second, they dispatched military Warriors to urgently enter certain games and quickly establish private military game servers.

Third, they began investigating which civil servants, state-owned enterprise employees, and other government-affiliated personnel had played and spent money on games, compiling the relevant information.

The mighty state apparatus had already been set in motion by the sudden game invasion. The power involved was beyond what an ordinary person could imagine.

And while the Emergency Affairs Security Bureau was rapidly executing these three emergency tasks, other coercive institutions like the military and public security had also begun to respond and make preparations.

The zero-dollar shopping sprees in the United States and the massive protests in Europe all served as a warning.

”Report!!”

”We’ve identified the number one player, who spent 2 billion on Krypton Gold! The game is *Tower Defense of Ten Thousand Realms*!” a person compiling player information suddenly cried out in astonishment.

The spending figure of 2 billion instantly shocked everyone.

”Report!”

”We have a joint report from three thousand people. They claim someone embezzled 2 billion and funneled it all into the game!”

”Report!”

”We have a joint report from five thousand people. They claim the game *Tower Defense of Ten Thousand Realms* has lewd content...”

”Report!”

”We have a joint report from seven thousand people. They claim someone is using the *Tower Defense of Ten Thousand Realms* game for money laundering...”

One after another, the reports were compiled.

The target, in every case, was the same game and the same player who had spent 2 billion on Krypton Gold.

”Report!”

”A joint task force investigated this person a month ago. The source of his funds is legitimate!”

”Report!”

”No evidence of money laundering!”

”Report!”

”*Tower Defense of Ten Thousand Realms* does indeed have some borderline lewd content...”

...

Three minutes later, new intelligence had been uncovered. A large amount of information was compiled and laid out before the chief of the Security Bureau.

”Chief, what should we do?” a subordinate asked.

The chief now had to make a decision: whether or not to shut down the game *Tower Defense of Ten Thousand Realms* or ban the account that had spent 2 billion on Krypton Gold.

After a long moment of silence, the chief finally made his decision.

”We can’t touch them for now!” he declared. ”This could be a conspiracy by the United States. They want us to dig our own graves!”

The Security Bureau chief was thinking further ahead. As long as there were no illegal activities, it was best not to rashly interfere with game accounts or game companies during this special period.

Some borderline lewd content? Lewd content is irrelevant! It’s only human nature! The important thing is not to cut off our own hands and feet.

Anyway, it was only a day. The answer would be revealed tonight.

If nothing happened, it would have been a false alarm. But if it really did happen, then sealing the game would have been a grave mistake. Such an act would be tantamount to digging their own grave and damaging their own strength.

”Yes, sir!”

His subordinate immediately followed the order to stand down.

”Report!” Someone produced a list and reported again to the Security Bureau chief. ”Here is a list of players who have spent over 100,000! Should we invite all of them to the Divine Capital for a ’cup of tea’?”

”No rush!” the chief said, looking at the list and nodding. ”Wait and see what happens tonight. If this is real, then have the local branches take action!”

If the game abilities can really be inherited, it won’t be too late to bring them in after that happens...

”Yes, sir!”

The subordinate immediately left to carry out the mission.
