Realized Game: I Hoarded 10 Billion Defense Towers

Chapter 2: Chapter 2: An Easy Hundred Million

That’s right. Shen Fei was a rich second-generation heir. Unfortunately, he’d loved video games since he was a child. His old man had wanted him to get involved in the family business, but because of his gaming addiction, he couldn’t have cared less about it. Because of this, his father confiscated his sports car, sealed off his villa, and froze his gold card. In response, he stormed out of the house and started a career as a game streamer...

”What’s the matter? Can’t make it on your own anymore?” His father must have just fallen asleep, as his voice was a little hoarse.

”Yeah...” Shen Fei admitted defeat readily. The apocalypse was coming, so there was no point in putting on airs.

”Then come home tomorrow. We’ll talk!” His old man was very gratified.

”No need, I’m coming back tonight!” Shen Fei hung up as soon as he finished speaking.

”BEEP. BEEP. BEEP...” The half-asleep father stared at the disconnected call, a little bewildered.

---

”Bro, are you crazy?!” Shen Yue yawned as she looked at her older brother in Villa 42 of the Nanshan Villa district. ”Coming back in the middle of the night and waking me up! What for?!”

”What game have you been playing recently?” Shen Fei asked quickly, looking at his pretty younger sister with her messy, sleep-tousled hair.

He had just finished greeting their parents. His father had already unblocked his sports car, villa, and credit card. After asking their parents what games they played, he had immediately woken his sister up.

In his past life, his family, who rarely played games, had died the moment the apocalypse began. He hadn’t even been home. Even after inheriting his game’s abilities, he was powerless to save them. Having been reborn, he would of course bring his family with him this time.

”Traveling Frog!” his sister, Shen Yue, said grumpily.

”Good. Give me your game account info.” Without another word, Shen Fei pulled out a notebook, ready to write it down.

”Are you sick in the head?! You woke me up in the middle of the night just to ask for my game account?” Shen Yue was going crazy.

However, under Shen Fei’s coercion, his sister still gave him the account information. Compared to the game-loving Shen Fei, his sister Shen Yue was an excellent student and didn’t play many games. She had only picked up Traveling Frog on a whim after watching her brother play games; it was the one game she could stick with. She’d been raising her electronic frog for almost five or six years...

”Alright, go back to sleep now!” Having successfully gotten the account info, Shen Fei patted his sister’s head.

He didn’t plan on telling anyone about the game invasion, not even his family. It was simply too unbelievable. He would tell them on April Fools’ Day, a month from now.

I’ll take care of my family’s games...

”Hmph!” It was already three in the morning. Seeing that her brother had woken her up just for a game account, Shen Yue stomped her foot and snorted coldly. She marched upstairs, her small, rounded feet padding against the floor.

”Done!” With his family’s account info secured, Shen Fei nodded, got in his car, and left again that night.

Dad plays a Chinese chess game! Mom plays one of those farm-stealing games! And Shen Yue plays Traveling Frog!

Having obtained his family’s game genres and account information, Shen Fei got into his sports car and sped back to his own mansion through the night. Although he couldn’t tell his family about the game invasion, he could level up their game accounts for them. Even though his family only played casual games, Shen Fei knew that after the game invaded reality, even casual games could become incredibly powerful.

For example, he had once heard of a 9-dan Go player who inherited 500 black and white game pieces, which could be used to form a Yin Yang Qiankun Array to suppress anything. He had also heard of a farm-stealing game player who inherited a plot of black soil that accelerated plant growth by 1000%, becoming an honored guest in a Base City. He had even heard of a match-three game player who inherited various colored blocks. The blocks could be arranged and combined for explosions, teleportation, elimination, and summoning—they could do anything...

Therefore, his family’s games were also useful. He just needed to find a way to raise their game levels.

”Young Master Shen, are you really in such a hurry in the middle of the night?” Shen Fei was on the phone in his sports car.

”Cut the crap. Do you want them or not?” Shen Fei had contacted the scalper who used to follow him around, preparing to sell all the properties and luxury cars under his name.

”Yes! Yes! Yes! If Master Shen is selling, I’ll take anything!” the scalper quickly replied. ”Oh, right, Master Shen, since it’s so late, should I bring a few girls over?”

”No! Just have the money ready!” Shen Fei refused flatly.

In the apocalypse, the one thing there’s no shortage of is beautiful women. All sorts of beauties are dirt cheap, and most of them even have special abilities. Not just beauties from Earth, either. There are also all kinds of beautiful female NPCs from games, and all kinds of 2D anime beauties. As long as you have power, anything is possible.

He’d heard a story about an expert player who inherited demon-slaying and evil-exorcising abilities from a Taoist game. This player had managed to capture an invading NPC from the world of Rune Land—a Succubus of Delight named Evelyn—and imprisoned her as a sex slave...

The game invasion didn’t just bring monsters from the games. There were also all sorts of humanoid and non-humanoid NPCs. Some players who had maxed out their affinity with NPCs in the game could even, after those NPCs arrived in the real world...

”Alright~~ On my way!” The scalper didn’t dare say another word. Struggling free from the several pairs of fair, slender arms wrapped around his waist, the scalper quickly got out of bed and rushed over.

---

”Master Shen, you’re giving it all up?” The scalper was completely astonished, watching Shen Fei sell off all the properties, luxury cars, and even his limited-edition figurines.

”Yeah, I’ve decided to properly inherit the family business!” Shen Fei replied with a smile, looking at the extra one hundred and thirty million in his bank account.

”You got it~. When the time comes, don’t forget to give your little brother a boost, Master Shen.” Of course, the scalper knew about Shen Fei’s background.

”Play your games well, and spend more money on them!” Patting the scalper’s shoulder, Shen Fei left without another word.

”Huh?” Hearing Shen Fei tell him to play more games, the scalper was a bit dumbfounded.

You’re quitting, and now you’re trying to trick me into playing? I’m not gonna play! Is playing games better than playing with women?

---

”Tower Defense of Ten Thousand Realms!”

”Create Account!”

At 6 a.m., back in his own home, Shen Fei immediately created an account and started to recharge. He had seen how cooperative the scalper was just now, so he gave him a tip to play more games. Whether the guy listened or not was none of his business.

”’Everyone has a home, and in the home is a ’Crystal’. This is the objective you need to defend.’ ’What players need to do is upgrade their Defense Towers to protect the Crystal.’” While creating his account, Shen Fei reviewed the game settings for Tower Defense of Ten Thousand Realms. ”’Two First Tier Defense Towers can be merged into one Second Tier tower...’ ’There are all kinds of Defense Towers: some slow enemies, some apply debuffs, some have area-of-effect attacks, and some are single-target...’ ’You can also enter the Heaven-Reaching Tower to challenge it floor by floor and obtain special items...’”

After ten minutes, he had finished creating his account and had a good grasp of the gameplay. Simply put, you’re given a home, you place Defense Towers, and you defend against the monsters that spawn from all directions...

”Let’s do this!”

The level one account started with a single, lonely Lightning Ball Defense Tower. At the bottom of the slope by his home’s entrance was a start button. As soon as you pressed it, the first wave of monsters would automatically spawn.

”Skip!”

Skipping the newbie tutorial, Shen Fei immediately started using Krypton Gold.
