Realized Game: I Hoarded 10 Billion Defense Towers

Chapter 38: Chapter 38: Reported! A Ban on the ”Skyrocketing” Account

”I’ve heard from a bunch of friends that something is really happening. Dad, you shouldn’t go out today!” Shen Fei said to his father after they finished their meal while watching the news.

”Alright!” Father Shen was a wise man, of course.

Between his son’s unusual behavior last night and what was being shown on the news right now, he also instantly sensed that something was up. If the news is saying there’s no problem, then the problem must be huge...

”Well, everyone should just look into the games, then. The answer will be revealed in about a dozen hours anyway...” Without wasting any more words on his family, Shen Fei said this and returned to his room.

He then quickly launched the game:

”Someone! Please, tell me what the hell happened last night! I just happened to go to bed early!”

”Extra! Extra! Foreign private servers are selling like crazy! I’ve also got data for 200 different private game servers, 10,000 a pop. DM me if you want in.”

”Just spitballing here, but if game abilities are really inherited based on the amount of Krypton Gold spent, then Brother Chongtian is going to be absolutely broken!”

”FUCK! I fell asleep last night, I have no idea what game was randomly selected for me! I play so many games!”

.

Compared to the news, the game forum was much more chaotic. Countless threads were being created at a rapid pace. Unlike last night, everyone was now wide awake and at work. Once they were on the clock, the number of people chatting grew exponentially. Everyone’s favorite pastime was getting paid to chat.

All sorts of different information was flying around.

Some people abroad were livestreaming their looting sprees.

Others were streaming the explosive sales of foreign private server data.

There were also anonymous users leaking details about internal meetings held by various countries. There were even insiders from electronic payment systems leaking that there was nothing wrong with their systems, but for some reason, they just couldn’t process transfers to the game.

”Game company insider directly modifying game data! 10,000 yuan per request, private message me for details.”

”Private server for *Cosmic Creator God* is now live! Scan the code to download, top-up one yuan on your first purchase and become a Creator God instantly!”

”This is Immortal Emperor llllllll8. After my game abilities are inherited, I will establish the Immortal Court. Join the group if you’re interested!”

”FUCK! I don’t know what game was randomly selected for me! I want to power up on a private server, but I don’t even know which one to power up!”

.

Besides all the news, countless business ventures were also booming on the game forum. He wasn’t sure if they were scammers, but Shen Fei even saw an ad from that ”Immortal Emperor.”

I wonder what game Immortal Emperor ended up inheriting, thanks to the butterfly effect I caused... Shen Fei’s thoughts stirred as he looked at the Immortal Emperor’s advertisement.

”Asking a dumb question here, but why can you transfer money and top-up on private servers, but not on the official ones?”

”And another dumb question, why can’t we top-up in the game, but an internal GM can directly modify the Krypton Gold top-up amount?”

Scrolling through the forum threads, Shen Fei finally saw someone who got it. Since his rebirth, he had been avoiding too much contact with people from the game company. The goal was to maintain the ”purity” of his game account. He couldn’t let his account become an affiliated company account.

Now, seeing all this talk about private servers, GM modifications, and building your own creator god games, he knew it would all be a fool’s errand for these people. Some might even end up ruining their perfectly normal accounts in the process.

SWISH.

After browsing the lively game forum, Shen Fei logged into *Tower Defense of Ten Thousand Realms* again. In his previous life, he had been just like these people, having chosen to inherit abilities from a battle royale game. Then, the next day, after seeing everyone going after private server data, he had anxiously gotten himself on a private server too. He’d acquired a massive number of skills and all sorts of Invincible firearms. Unfortunately, it was all useless! Private server data wasn’t inherited!

.

.

”Whoa!”

Logging into *Tower Defense of Ten Thousand Realms*, Shen Fei saw quite a few people directly trying to buy Game Coins with real money in the world chat. Compared to those just spamming posts on the game forum, some people were men of action.

In fact, there were even some clever people among them. They deduced that the private servers were probably useless because you could top-up on them, whereas you couldn’t on the official game. These people started buying up Game Coins with cash directly within the official game.

The original exchange rate was 1 Gold Coin for 1 RMB. Shen Fei saw that now, in the Game World, some people had already started offering 10 RMB for 1 Gold Coin.

I can’t top-up, but I can buy them from others!

And for some reason, most of these players trying to buy Game Coins were @ing him. Everyone knew that after the game’s top-up function went down last night, Brother Chongtian’s Combat Power had surged yet again. Based on calculations from the increase in his Combat Power, it seemed Brother Chongtian had spent nearly another billion after top-ups were disabled.

The players who wanted to buy Gold Coins, first and foremost, inevitably targeted Shen Fei. Although he had blocked friend requests, Shen Fei couldn’t block the world chat. The world chat and megaphone announcements flooding the screen were all @ing him.

”Brother Chongtian! Show yourself! Do you know something? Is that why you topped up in advance?”

”Brother Chongtian! Come on out, we all play the same game. Tell us, is the game really going to descend upon reality?”

”Brother Chongtian! Send me 50 yuan, or I’m going to report you!”

”I’m Brother Chongtian’s alt account, selling friend slots for 10 Gold Coins each. DM me if you’re interested!”

”Scammers can die with their whole families!”

”No money? Go ask Brother Chongtian! He’s loaded with Gold Coins!”

.

He glanced over and saw that his steward, Sky Control, had finished its dungeon run. Shen Fei checked Sky Control’s loot while also watching the chatter in the world channel.

In the world channel, aside from the players who had grown hopeful because of last night’s announcement and were taking immediate action, another group of people had their attention fixed on Shen Fei.
