Realized Game: I Hoarded 10 Billion Defense Towers

Chapter 19: Chapter 19: Got the Fox-Eared Girl

Homeland was a new feature from the last update. Shen Fei felt its function was similar to the main city construction in lord-style games.

Originally, in a tower defense game, the main city only had walls and a Crystal. Players just needed to place Defense Towers to resist monster attacks. However, this newly added ”Homeland” feature introduced several other functions to the main city. You could even grow flowers and plants in the Homeland Secret Realm...

The biggest change among all this, Shen Fei felt, was the addition of a ”butler” role, similar to a subordinate Hero. In the Homeland, there was an NPC called a butler, which Shen Fei thought of as a Hero.

WHOOSH.

Having understood the butler system, Shen Fei quickly opened the butler Summoning interface. He hadn’t yet recruited a Hero-like butler. Now, it was time to begin!

The highest quality one costs ten million?

Looking at the Summoning prices for butlers of various qualities, Shen Fei could only sigh internally. As expected, it was a feature developed specifically for Krypton Gold spending. It was just a Gold Coin sink. Krypton Gold solves everything!

In response, he could only think: This is great!

He looked at the butler recruitment list. There was an old Sword Immortal in the Immortal style, an Intelligent Mechanism robot in the sci-fi style, and a limping old man in the wuxia style...

After a moment’s consideration, Shen Fei ultimately chose the highest-quality, anime-style fox-eared girl...

.

[Name: Sky Control]

[Race: Fox Ming Race]

[Talent: Orange (max)]

[Loyalty: Undyingly Loyal (max)]

[Tier: First Tier]

[Skills: None]

[Talents: None]

[Defense Tower: None]

[Description: If the Crystal is shattered or the Master dies, Sky Control will die instantly!]

.

The Fox Race girl butler, Sky Control, appeared in the Homeland Secret Realm dressed in green robes. She had a pair of fluffy fox ears on her head and a bushy tail behind her. She wore leg rings on her long, slender, and fair legs...

Isn’t this just another Tower Master? Not only can she help manage the Homeland, but she can also summon Defense Towers to help fight monsters...

Shen Fei muttered to himself as he looked at the fox-eared girl butler’s Attributes. He was very satisfied with the butler Sky Control’s attribute panel.

In the future, after the inheritance from the game, elements like Heroes could be brought into the real world. Seeing that Sky Control had the same panel and abilities as a Tower Master was fantastic.

If I use Krypton Gold to get Sky Control to the same level as myself, when NPCs appear on Earth in the future, I’ll have an equally powerful Favored.

Sky Control’s loyalty was Undyingly Loyal, so there was absolutely no chance of betrayal. He could spend his Krypton Gold on her without worry. He’d heard before that a player of a medieval mount-and-blade style game had inherited an Undyingly Loyal Hero named ”Sparta.” Even when his enemies hacked his body into eight pieces, this Hero still protected his Master. Undyingly loyal Heroes never betray you.

”Alright, this is perfect!”

After checking the butler Sky Control’s status, Shen Fei directly gave all the miscellaneous items from his inventory to her. He didn’t care if she was called a Hero or a butler. As long as she was powerful, undyingly loyal, and could be inherited into reality, he could mindlessly use Krypton Gold on her.

Right now, Shen Fei’s inventory still contained 9,999,999 pets. There were also tons of VIP level-up rewards and various odds and ends left over from his previous Krypton Gold spending. He kept a few Divine Beast-quality pets for himself and dumped everything else from his inventory onto Sky Control.

The upgrade setting for a butler was that you couldn’t get skills for them, nor could you level them up directly. You could only give them items. The butler was a feature designed specifically for Krypton Gold spending, its purpose being to absorb the unused miscellaneous items left in one’s inventory after a spending spree.

Shen Fei quickly got the hang of the operation. Just give her everything!

[Ding!]

[You have gifted materials to your butler, Sky Control. Sky Control has begun to sort and organize the materials...]

[Sky Control has started setting up a stall to sell items...]

[Sky Control has reaped rewards...]

[Sky Control is in a great mood. She plans to go out and travel...]

[Sky Control...]

.

After giving a massive amount of materials to the butler, Shen Fei watched as a series of story-like text messages scrolled by.

”Are you serving me a Text Game right now?!”

Seeing the long string of various text-based stories, Shen Fei immediately exited the Homeland.

You can evolve slowly on your own. I’m just going to mindlessly spend my Krypton Gold anyway.

Sky Control’s upgrades were like opening a treasure chest; he had no control over them. He would check the results tomorrow. But he knew that as long as he gave her enough materials, Sky Control’s improvement was guaranteed. And he... had just given Sky Control materials worth tens of millions.

.

WHOOSH.

Leaving Sky Control to evolve automatically, Shen Fei switched his attention to another Krypton Gold project—skills. Skills were, of course, very important. For example, there was the ”Invincible” skill that automatically activated after the Crystal reached max level, which could make all Defense Towers immune to attacks for 10 seconds. After enhancing the skill to +10, the duration of Invincible had now increased to 60 seconds.

He had taken care of the Defense Towers, Tower Master equipment, Enhancements, and the Tower-Carrying Beast. After setting his butler to evolve automatically, Shen Fei prepared to work on his skills.

Because of his Tower Master equipment’s set effect, his Crystal and Tower Master had fused together. As a result, he could now have ten skills. Originally, a Tower Master had five skill slots, but after fusing with the Crystal, his skill slots had increased to ten.

Currently, his existing skills were: ”Healing +10, Attack Aura +10, Durability Aura +10, Range Aura +10, and Invincible +10.”

These five skills were all inherited from the Crystal, and all five had already been enhanced to +10. Next, he needed to get five more Tower Master skills. He had to choose these new skills carefully; after all, there were only five skill slots.

Unlike other projects, Tower Master skills came in all varieties and couldn’t be purchased directly from the shop. Currently, there was only one way to obtain Tower Master skills: running dungeons. Besides the daily ”Heaven-Reaching Tower,” the other place to run dungeons was the ”Secret Realm.” In the shop, there were Secret Realm Scrolls of various qualities, and Shen Fei had previously obtained a few of the Orange-quality ones.

”Let’s do this!”

Seeing that the highest-quality Orange Secret Realm Scrolls in the shop cost 10,000 each, Shen Fei, without a second thought, decided to buy 10,000 of them. After all, with his butler, Sky Control, he could mindlessly spend his Krypton Gold. Any miscellaneous items he got from the Secret Realms wouldn’t go to waste.

[Ding!]

[You have obtained a Single-Player Orange Secret Realm Scroll: Bridge Charge!]

.

[Ding!]

[You have obtained a Single-Player Orange Secret Realm Scroll: Rolling Crates!]

.

[Ding!]

[You have obtained a Two-Player Orange Secret Realm Scroll: Labyrinth Exploration!]

.

[Ding!]

[You have obtained a Party Orange Secret Realm Scroll: Eighteen Levels of Hell!]

.

Another hundred million down the drain, and Shen Fei’s freshly emptied inventory was once again filled with all sorts of Secret Realm Scrolls.

There are two-player and party Secret Realms, too?

Shen Fei’s brow furrowed slightly as he noticed some of the Secret Realm Scrolls weren’t for single players. He had no desire to team up with outsiders. For one, it would be a waste of time and they would just drag him down. For another, he didn’t want others to see too much of his information.

I’ll just give the two-player and party Secret Realm Scrolls to Sky Control! Shen Fei yawned, preparing to give more things to his butler.

BANG!

BANG!

BANG!

Suddenly, there was another knock on his door.

”Who is it!” Shen Fei, whose eyes were bloodshot from playing for several hours straight, shouted.

”Why is your phone off? Your dad called me! Come get the phone!” his mother’s voice came from the doorway.

”Oh, coming!” Shen Fei replied, quickly turning off his monitor and scrambling under the covers to pretend he had been sleeping.

His mother thought he was resting, after all. It wouldn’t be good if she saw him still playing...

His phone had been turned off for a long time. His information had been leaked earlier, and he was being bombarded by all sorts of text messages, WeChat friend requests, emails, and phone calls. So he had turned his phone off long ago. He hadn’t expected that after more than two weeks of his father not really contacting him, his dad would suddenly call on the one day he was resting at home.

This was too much of a coincidence!

”Hello? Dad!”

Taking the phone from his mother’s hand, Shen Fei immediately answered.
