Urban Powerhouse: Chaos Supreme

”Dad, it was him who hit me...” Ma Wenliang staggered up from the ground, his eyes filled with venom as he stared at Lin Mo.

Just now Lin Mo’s strike wasn’t too heavy, it was just a slight lesson for Ma Wenliang. If he really wanted to kill him, one slap would have reduced him to ashes.

The middle-aged man who was furious at Lin Mo was Ma Wenliang’s father, named Ma Guoyang, a well-known figure in the Las Vegas Chinese circle, controlling billions in assets.

Especially Ma Guoyang’s deep connections with the Amos Family, many Chinese businessmen depend on his goodwill to survive.

The Amos Family is the top family in Las Vegas, wielding massive assets and power, even the Governor of Nevada has to show them some respect.

Because of this connection, the Ma Family has always been a leader in the Las Vegas and even Nevada Chinese circles.

Today is Ma Wenliang’s twenty-fourth birthday, yet someone dared to cause trouble at the party, even hitting him, which is like a heavy slap on the Ma Family’s face.

”Who are you? Do you know where you are and still dare to cause trouble here?” Ma Guoyang glared angrily at Lin Mo, exuding a powerful aura that belonged to a big shot.

Behind Ma Guoyang stood several stern-faced bodyguards, their eyes glaring brutally at Lin Mo.

Wu Yuexin stood next to Lin Mo, her eyes red with anxiety, looking pitifully at Wu Qingyun, her pretty face pleading.

The Ma Family’s influence in Las Vegas is considerable, and with the Amos Family backing them, if today’s situation isn’t resolved, Lin Mo will surely be crippled by the Ma Family.

Wu Qingyun frowned tightly, watching his daughter stand with Lin Mo, his face clouded like a gathering storm, extremely disappointed with Lin Mo. Did he not see what day it was, where he was, not even savvy enough to assess the situation, just like a naïve newcomer?

”What future does such a person have? Not understanding restraint, he will inevitably meet a bloody end.” Wu Qingyun shook his head, muttered to himself.

Only Uncle Gao, standing behind Wu Qingyun, suddenly glanced at the several bodyguards lying on the ground, his whole body shook, pupils dilated.

”This is... a Martial God!”

Upon hearing Uncle Gao’s words, Wu Qingyun frowned.

Uncle Gao himself was a Martial Artist, and a strong one, which is why Wu Qingyun kept him around. Naturally, he had heard of the tales of the Martial God, his face now full of surprise, ”Uncle Gao, did you say he’s a Martial God?”

”Only a Martial God can concentrate True Qi like a needle and injure others from afar.” Uncle Gao’s face became extremely reverent.

Wu Qingyun frowned even tighter. Even if Lin Mo was a Martial God, he’s only a warrior. This is modern society, not the ancient Martial World. What use is martial arts prowess? In modern society, it’s about skills, abilities, connections, family background, to stand out as a dragon head. As for martial arts, many world championship fighters can’t compare to the Ma Family’s wealth and energy!

”Uncle Ma, Dad, this incident started because of me and has nothing to do with Lin Mo. If you want to punish someone, punish me.” Wu Yuexin bit her thin lips, suddenly standing out, her eyes reddened as she spoke.

Upon hearing this, Ma Wenliang’s face turned even worse, ”Even now you’re speaking for him, I must cripple him today.”

”Ma Wenliang, I have nothing to do with you.” Wu Yuexin said stubbornly.

”Nonsense, sheer nonsense, Little Yue come here quickly, this has nothing to do with you, your friend dared to hit Young Master Ma, there has to be an explanation to the Ma Family today.” Wu Qingyun clenching his palms into fists, face stern, shouted deeply.

Uncle Gao opened his mouth, wanting to say something, but ultimately held it back.

Even though a Martial God’s status is high, inside the Amos Family backing the Ma Family, there are also masters. Lin Mo may not be able to make the Ma Family submit.

”I won’t go over.” Wu Yuexin said sulkily, but her little face was unyieldingly resolute.

She was the one who invited Lin Mo today, originally hoping that if Ma Wenliang saw a male friend by her side, he wouldn’t harass her anymore. Unexpectedly, it caused such a huge trouble.

At the scene, everyone’s gaze focused on Lin Mo and Wu Yuexin.

It felt like a couple being pressured by the father and an antagonist, yet in the eyes of these people, there was no sympathy, only a strong interest in watching the drama unfold.

”Heh heh, thinking you’re impressive just because you can fight, as if there’s no one in the Ma Family?” Jing Jin crossed his arms, his face filled with amusement.

”Young Master Ma is so good yet not good enough, some people are so high and mighty, preferring a loser guy. Those stories of poor scholars and noble ladies are just ’fairy tales’ written by idle readers.” Liu Huwen sneered, the powder on her face seemed about to fall off.

Ma Guoyang, staring fixedly at Lin Mo, said, ”I don’t care who you are, since you dared to make trouble at my Ma Family, you have to give me an explanation.”

”Weren’t you just so arrogant, thinking you could walk out of here standing tall? Now kneel and kowtow to me, maybe if I’m in a good mood...” Ma Wenliang suddenly gained confidence, the arrogance of a rich kid unmistakable.

But before he could finish speaking, Lin Mo glanced at him lightly, ”Noisy!”

Then, he kicked Ma Wenliang in the belly, the latter flew backward, crashing into the Roman pillar behind, spitting a mouthful of blood, knees hitting the ground, collapsing, chest sunken, dying on the spot.

”Liang!”

Ma Guoyang’s eyes widened, roaring.

The others were also dumbfounded.

Lin Mo had actually kicked Ma Wenliang to death.

Even Wu Yuexin, Jing Jin, Liu Huwen, and other young men and women nearby were suddenly silent.

Who would have thought Ma Wenliang would lose his life just because of a few words?

Uncle Gao’s body shook, he muttered, ”Indeed, a Martial God cannot be insulted!”

Wu Qingyun’s face was also dazed, clearly not expecting Lin Mo to actually kill Ma Wenliang.

Just now, the two were only fighting. If he had helped mediate, Lin Mo apologized to Ma Wenliang, suffered a bit, and the matter would pass. But now Lin Mo killed Ma Wenliang, it’s a fight to the death with the Ma Family, no room for maneuver.

”A brute, a brute.”

Wu Qingyun shook his head repeatedly.

”Catch him for me.” Ma Guoyang came to his senses and cried out harshly.

Several bodyguards quickly rushed at Lin Mo, their faces showing gravity, after all, Lin Mo’s displayed strength was not that of an ordinary youth.

But before the bodyguards could get close, they flew back like flower scattering fairies, crashing to the ground, losing the ability to fight.

”You think because you can fight, you’re invincible in Las Vegas?” Ma Guoyang clenched his fists, glaring viciously at Lin Mo, his face showing no fear at all, even if Lin Mo is powerful, he is still just a mortal.
