Urban Powerhouse: Chaos Supreme

”An Ice Attribute Superpower User.” Francis squinted slightly, spreading his arms, his body slowly leaving the ground, like a breeze, flying towards the center of the canyon, as if lifting something very light.

Judging solely by their appearances, Mr. Zhu was walking on air with ice, seemingly formidable, but using energy.

On the other hand, Francis was standing in mid-air like a gentle wind, effortlessly, showcasing a clear difference in strength between the two.

”This Francis seems to be no easy opponent,” Tang Rulong’s gaze was piercing, naturally noticing some clues.

”Hmph, how could he possibly be stronger than Mr. Zhu?” Tang Ruhu scoffed disdainfully.

Members of the Tang Sect elders and the Mafia stood at the edge of the canyon, watching the two in the center. Being ordinary people, witnessing a battle between Superpower Users was a rare event.

”Ice Element Superpower User, your strength is not weak,” Francis said slowly, a red glint flashing in his pupils.

Mr. Zhu’s expression was solemn as he replied, ”Your strength is not weak either.”

With that, Mr. Zhu stretched out his hands, and instantly two giant ice-colored blades appeared in his hands, rushing towards Francis.

”I feel like stretching my bones too,” Francis said, suddenly unfolding a pair of black ’wings’ from his back. The wings were flowing with black ripples, yet each feather was lifelike. These were wings formed from energy, indestructible.

”Bang!”

Mr. Zhu held the giant ice blades with both hands, slashing fiercely at Francis. In an instant, the two wings behind Francis closed to his chest like iron arms, the ice blades hitting them, making a sound of metal collision.

A force surged from the black wings, vibrating the ice blades and making Mr. Zhu’s hands tremble.

Mr. Zhu’s face showed a look of shock. The ice blades composed of his Ice Element energy could cut through steel, yet when struck against Francis’s wings, they felt like they were hitting titanium alloy.

”What kind of superpower user are you?” Mr. Zhu asked in surprise.

Francis said nothing, suddenly kicking towards Mr. Zhu’s head, the move cutting through air instantly. Mr. Zhu’s expression changed drastically, his arms instantly shielding his face, yet he was flung back, spinning twice in the air before landing stably on a rocky ledge.

”Now it’s my turn to attack.”

Francis flew up into the air again, suddenly spreading his black wings. Black feathers shot out rapidly like arrows, raining towards Mr. Zhu.

The speed was as fast as bullets, the feathers slicing through the air, wrapped in air currents, appearing quite spectacular and dazzling from afar.

Not daring to be distracted, Mr. Zhu immediately spread his arms, an ice-blue translucent ice wall instantly forming in front of him, about a meter thick, like a fortress wall.

The black wings struck the ice wall, making crisp sounds, most being instantly bounced off, embedding into the surrounding rock layer, slowly turning into black mist, disappearing between heaven and earth. Some directly pierced into the ice wall, but no wing penetrated it.

Lin Mo stood at the high point of the canyon, watching the battle intensely. The strength of ss-level superpower users was equivalent to the Gangjin Martial Artists in Huaxia, but slightly weaker.

Moreover, their combat style involved using their internal attribute superpowers for brute force fighting. Various powers exist in the world: like the True Yuan of Martial Artists, Spiritual Energy of Cultivators, natural energy of Superpower Users. However, the difference is that Superpower Users mostly don’t need arduous cultivation. Some are born with awakened abilities, able to harmonize with certain elements in the world and use them.

Martial Artists require rigorous training, and thus, the Martial God they produce are extremely rare.

Cultivators have a mature cultivation system, not just relying on pure strength, but using various magic techniques and arrays. It’s like two people having the same piece of iron; Superpower Users fight with the block of iron, while Cultivators forge it into a weapon for greater destructive power.

”Why is there such a difference in strength among those of the same ss-level superpower user?” The ice wall before Mr. Zhu quickly shattered, like a broken mirror, falling to the ground in pieces, then slowly disappearing.

Tang Ruhu, Tang Rulong, and the Tang Sect elders standing atop the canyon also had serious expressions.

After two exchanges, even if one wasn’t a superpower user or a Martial Artist, it was clear Mr. Zhu seemed to be at a disadvantage.

”You’re not my opponent, I don’t want to waste time with you.”

Francis hovered in the air, extending his right palm, as if a small vortex was forming in his palm, black liquid growing out from the void, converging into a black orb in his palm.

The black orb, like black water, rolled and flowed, emitting an extremely eerie and terrifying aura.

”What is this?”

Mr. Zhu looked at the black orb in Francis’s hand with wide eyes, feeling a sense of danger to his life.

”Frozen World.” Ice flowers immediately formed on Mr. Zhu’s body, white ice crystals forming on his hair and eyebrows, and the air in the entire canyon seemed to drop several degrees in an instant.

Snowflakes began to fall from the sky, freezing into an ice layer on the rocks and barren trees instantly.

Yet these snowflakes disappeared out of thin air when they were about a meter above Francis’s head, unable to land on him.

”What’s going on?” Mr. Zhu’s expression drastically changed.

This was his strongest move, but it seemed to have no effect on Francis.

”Your understanding of energy is too poor,” Francis shook his head in disappointment, pushing his palm forward, and the black orb slowly flew out. The speed was not fast, but it seemed unstoppable.

The black orb moved through the snowflakes, and as soon as the snowflakes came close, appendages extended from the orb, directly devouring them into its body.

Seeing the black orb getting closer, Mr. Zhu’s whole body seemed frozen, unable to dodge, pallor spreading across his face.

Ice walls instantly formed before him, but in front of the black orb, they were like thin paper, piercing through effortlessly, striking Mr. Zhu.

”Bang!”

The seemingly slow-moving orb struck Mr. Zhu, knocking him back against a rock wall. His arms and legs spread in a ’T’ shape, his body fully embedded into the rock face, dust and dirt falling profusely.

”A Dark Man?” Mr. Zhu finally realized, showing a terrified expression.

The black liquid orb did not vanish immediately upon hitting Mr. Zhu’s abdomen; instead, it liquefied, sticking to his body, slowly flowing upward and downward, seemingly trying to envelop Mr. Zhu. Mr. Zhu’s internal Ice Attribute energy resisted the black liquid’s corrosion, but even so, it was only a matter of time before the advancing black liquid swallowed him.

Standing atop the canyon, Tang Ruhu looked ashen-faced, his legs weak, almost collapsing.

Tang Rulong also looked terrible; Mr. Zhu had lost!
