Urban Powerhouse: Chaos Supreme

Lin Mo was somewhat surprised, ”You’re also from Huaxia?”

”Yep, I’m from Huaxia too, just doing business in Han Country with my husband.” Seeing a fellow countryman, the woman seemed especially friendly.

The woman soon had the waiter bring two servings of Korean cuisine and a bottle of Shaojiu.

”Boss, I didn’t ask for alcohol?” Lin Mo frowned slightly.

”It’s on the house,” said the chatty proprietress, looking at Lin Mo and Yingzi with a smile, ”You two are a couple, right? Are you here in Seoul for study or just for fun?”

”Just here for fun,” Lin Mo replied indifferently, not keen on explaining his relationship with Yingzi.

However, Yingzi’s cheeks turned slightly red as she bowed her head and said, ”Thank you, madam.”

While they were chatting, a commotion suddenly arose at the entrance of the restaurant when a group walked in—a large man with a pregnant belly and covered in tattoos swaggered in, followed by several tattooed youths, clearly members of some shady society.

Like Japan, Han Country too had many gangs, with underground powers intricately tangled.

”Mr. Xiang Yu, how are you considering that item? It was not easy for me to find, and I didn’t offer it to anyone else,” said another man walking beside them in a suit, speaking as they entered.

”Let’s talk business later, let’s first see how the food is at this restaurant,” the man in the suit said with a smile.

”Alright then,” the man laughed dryly.

The group found a table by the window and sat down.

Seeing these people come in, the proprietress’s expression turned slightly sour.

”Mr. Xiang Yu, welcome. May I ask what you’d like to have? We’ve just introduced a new Korean dish, do you want to try it?” The proprietress asked with a strained smile as she walked up to the group.

”Serve it up, by the way, you’ve been behind on the hiring fee for your place for two months now, when will you pay me?” Quan Xiangyu frowned, showing a hint of a chill in his demeanor.

The proprietress’s forehead creased tightly, ”Mr. Xiang Yu, you know my husband has been sick lately, and my daughter’s education is also expensive, I really don’t have extra money for you, can you give me some more time, please?”

”I could give you more time,” Quan Xiangyu said, eyeing the proprietress up and down before adding, ”Actually, you might consider my previous offer. If you star in my movie, not only will I not take your money, but I will also pay you.”

The proprietress was in her early forties but had well-maintained skin and a pleasing appearance, looking only around thirty-five or thirty-six, still quite attractive.

”No way, I will not shoot that kind of movie.” The proprietress’s face paled as she shook her head vehemently.

Despite being a distance away, Yingzi was a Martial Arts Master with highly sensitive ears and eyes, and after hearing the conversation, she showed a puzzled expression, ”Master, why is the proprietress so scared when they talk about shooting a movie?”

Lin Mo took a sip of Shaojiu, his brow furrowing slightly; that Quan Xiangyu was probably asking the proprietress to shoot some unsavory type of film.

”That’s not suitable for children,” Lin Mo shook his head.

He had come to Han Country this time to eliminate the Big Shot who wanted to get his hands on Lin Shanshan. Xiao Zhu and Jin Taihe had already returned to the Li Family while Lin Mo had not accompanied them, choosing to explore Seoul himself while waiting for the Li Family’s response.

If the Li Family agreed to help Lin Mo deal with the Big Shot behind the scenes, Lin Mo would spare the Li Family; if the Li Family intended to go against him, Lin Mo would simply crush them.

Yingzi was of age and not some innocent little girl clueless about the world. After pondering the situation, she couldn’t help but blush, her cheeks tinting with a rosy hue.

”Ma’am, I gave you a chance, don’t be ungrateful,” Quan Xiangyu put down his cup of Shaojiu, his expression turning cold.

A group of tattooed youths standing behind Quan Xiangyu suddenly stood up, their gazes fierce like wolves and tigers, staring at the female owner.

”I’ll give you one more chance, either pay up, or go star in a film, otherwise I can’t guarantee the safety of you, your husband, and your daughter,” Quan Xiangyu said, sitting down and lifting the celadon wine cup to take a sip.

”You filthy woman, our boss already gave you a chance, hurry up and speak,” a thug cursed loudly and slapped the female owner across the face.

The female owner was knocked to the ground by the slap, covering her burning cheek, her hair coming loose and hanging across her face.

Other customers in the restaurant looked on at this scene, some watching coldly, while others hurriedly settled their bills and left, afraid of getting involved. After all, the gang appeared menacing.

”What are you doing, so many men bullying one woman?” Just then, a sharp shout rang out.

Quan Xiangyu and his men looked up to see a girl with bright eyes and a ponytail standing in front of them, her pretty face full of anger.

”What a cute little beauty,” the thug who hit the woman let out a lecherous gaze and reached out towards Yingzi’s face.

Yingzi furrowed her brows and kicked straight into the thug’s stomach, sending him flying backward and crashing onto a cooking table, scattering the items on it.

The other thugs, seeing this, charged towards Yingzi. Meanwhile, Lin Mo continued to eat his meal calmly, as with Yingzi’s cultivation, dealing with a few thugs was more than within her ability.

In no time at all, Yingzi had knocked all the thugs to the ground.

The previously seated Quan Xiangyu finally couldn’t help but stand up, his expression fierce: ”Bastard, how dare you hit my men, do you know who I am?”

”I don’t care who you are, bullying is wrong,” Yingzi snorted coldly.

”Ha, bitch!”

Quan Xiangyu raised his hand and violently struck towards Yingzi’s face.

”Seeking death,” Yingzi snorted coldly, raising her arm as white as frost and snow, slapping Quan Xiangyu’s arm. With a crisp crack, the arm visibly broke at an angle, and Quan Xiangyu too fell to the ground.

”Mr. Xiang Yu, are you alright?” A businessman who had followed rushed over to help Quan Xiangyu up.

A look of fear and wariness finally showed in Quan Xiangyu’s eyes as he looked at Yingzi, then, propped up by his subordinates, he said, ”You all wait for the retaliation from the Bloodthirsty Society.”

After that, the group walked away dejectedly.

At this point, the businessman who had been by Quan Xiangyu’s side spoke in Huaxia, ”Boss Liu, just endure this matter, and it will pass. Having offended Mr. Xiang Yu, you should think about leaving here.”

”Traitor,” Yingzi spat at the sight of the Huaxia businessman scurrying after Quan Xiangyu and the others.

”Ma’am, are you okay?” Yingzi helped the female owner up from the ground and checked on her, finding she was not seriously hurt, just an elbow injury that would be fine after some rest.

”It’s nothing, I just dragged you into this,” the female owner said with a distressed look on her face.

”People like that deserve to be beaten. If we don’t teach them a lesson, they won’t know how powerful we are,” Yingzi pouted and huffed coldly.

”By the way, who are they? Why were they trying to get money from you?” Yingzi asked, puzzled.
