Urban Powerhouse: Chaos Supreme

”Ya, what’s wrong with you?” Tian Yun hurriedly supported Wei Ya, her eyes red with distress.

”What happened?” Wei Yongning was stunned, clenching his fists until they creaked. Although Wei Ya was disappointing, he was still his flesh and blood.

The two foreign doctors were completely baffled, their faces pale.

”Mr. Wei... we’ve already examined him, and Mr. Wei only had external injuries, we don’t know what’s going on!” one of the foreign doctors stammered with fear.

But Wei Zifa just furrowed his brows. After all, at his age, there were many descendants under him, and Wei Ya was just one of the less promising ones.

Wei Zifa placed his hand on Wei Ya’s chest and immediately his face showed a look of shock: ”Ya’s internal organs have been shattered.”

”Who did this? Don’t they know the strength of our Wei Family, to dare kill my son?” Wei Yongning seethed with rage. Wei Zifa shook his head, ”Ya was fine when he arrived at the hospital, but his organs were suddenly shattered by a burst of True Qi from within his body. Only a Martial Arts Master or a Magic Master is capable of doing this. When they injured Ya, they left a strand of True Qi inside his body, which exploded after a while and shattered his organs. Ya must have offended a Martial Arts Master.”

Wei Yongning and Tian Yun were both taken aback. As a Martial Arts Family, they naturally understood what it meant to offend a Martial Arts Master.

”So what if it’s a Martial Arts Master? Does our Wei Family not have any? Why should we be afraid of them?” Tian Yun said angrily.

Wei Yongning frowned, glanced at his wife, then looked indifferently at Wei Ya. He had several concubines outside who had borne him children, and Wei Ya was just one of them.

”Wei Ya has been spoiled by you, how could he dare to provoke a Martial Arts Master?” Wei Yongning sighed.

Tian Yun, looking at her husband, demanded emotionally, ”Ya has been killed, and all you can do is reprimand me. Are you even a man?”

”Don’t argue now, we will wait for the Family Head and Qian Kun to return in two days and decide what to do. This matter involves a Martial Arts Master after all,” said Wei Zifa with a serious expression.

Then, Wei Zifa called the two bodyguards who accompanied Wei Ya into the hospital room and inquired about the whole story.

”The man seemed to be called Lin Mo, and he seems to have some connections with the He and Du Families,” said the bodyguard with his head down and trembling.

He wasn’t afraid of Wei Zifa, but rather the youth he encountered on the beach – the fact that the youth was a Martial Arts Master frightened him, as he could have easily been killed if the youth had chosen to attack.

”You’re saying he’s only seventeen or eighteen and has some connection with the He and Du Families?” Wei Zifa’s brows furrowed even deeper.

To be a Martial Arts Master at such a young age, he had to be a genius like Qian Kun, not to mention the unknown possibility of having a Martial Arts Family backing him.

”Send someone to secretly investigate his background and see what his relationship is with the Du and He Families,” ordered Wei Zifa, dismissing the two bodyguards with a wave of his hand.

”Dad, you must seek justice for Ya,” cried Tian Yun, her face wet with tears.

”It involves a Martial Arts Master; we’ll wait for the Family Head to return,” replied Wei Zifa.

The next day.

The sun shone brightly, and a gentle breeze swept across the island.

The southern spring breeze was still a bit chilly, but Xiazhou, being a coastal city, had already bloomed like spring.

Lin Mo had gotten up early, roaming around the island, when suddenly He Wuxue called out to him, ”Mr. Lin, where are you going?”

Today He Wuxue wore a more retro white dress, her hair pinned with a Swarovski crystal hair clip, graceful and beautiful, reminiscent of a 90s beauty. Her long legs were slender and fair, her figure graceful, certainly possessing a unique charm.

”Boring, planning to wander around the island,” Lin Mo said.

He’d fought too many fights recently, so this time, Lin Mo came out to relax.

But there was another reason he stayed on the island, which was to wait for Du Li to come to him. He would give Du Li another chance to explain himself. Otherwise, he would go directly to the Du Family to demand some answers from Du Li.

”Otherwise, let me treat you to some milk tea. Our island’s Zhang Sanfeng milk tea is quite famous,” He Wuxue offered.

”Sure.”

Lin Mo nodded.

Zhang Sanfeng milk tea had spread from Wan Island and had become rather popular in Da Nei over the past few years. When they arrived at the milk tea shop, there was a fashionably dressed girl with delicate makeup seated inside. Seeing the two approaching, she waved and called out, ”Xiao Wu.”

The girl looked to be just over twenty years old, with fair skin and blue eyes—a beautiful mixed-race young woman. She was dressed in Chanel and carrying a new Burberry bag, clearly a wealthy heiress.

”Mr. Lin, this is my bestie Han Qingzi, she’s a supermodel,” He Wuxue introduced.

As the three sat down, Han Qingzi kept evaluating Lin Mo. Finding his appearance rather average, she couldn’t help but feel disappointed and whispered, ”Xiao Wu, is this the ’Divine Doctor’ you mentioned? He doesn’t look very impressive.”

He Wuxue’s face turned a bit awkward, and she gave Han Qingzi a glare, ”Would it kill you to keep quiet?”

With a pout, Han Qingzi switched topics to talk about the entertainment industry, while Lin Mo sat silently, sipping milk tea and watching the street view outside through the glass window.

”I’m going to use the restroom,” Lin Mo suddenly stood up and headed towards the restroom.

Once he was gone, Han Qingzi showed a mocking smile and said, ”Xiao Wu, so it’s this guy who beat up Wei Ya? Yo, isn’t this a case of a hero saving the beauty?”

”What nonsense are you spouting?” He Wuxue’s face blushed slightly as she remembered how Lin Mo had instructed her to call him master on the plane.

”Still, this guy is just too ordinary, definitely not a match for Miss He of the He Family,” Han Qingzi said disdainfully, curling her lip.

He Wuxue frowned and retorted, ”Han Qingzi, he and I are just ordinary friends, not the kind you think.”

”Ordinary friends, huh? I’ve never seen you taking the initiative to be with a man before, let alone invite him for milk tea,” Han Qingzi said, pouting her lips and biting on her straw.

He Wuxue paused for a moment.

Indeed, she had never been this close to a man before. Apart from certain special occasions, she would only speak a few words to men. In her friends’ eyes, she was always a cold and aloof goddess.

She wasn’t sure what she felt for Lin Mo either.

However, she quickly shook her head internally, ”Lin Mo is neither a scion of a great family nor does he know anything but medicine. Compared to Wei Qiankun of the Wei Family, the difference is as vast as a ’rice grain’ and the ’Silver Moon’.”

While they talked, a man in a beige suit with a ponytail, tall and slender, walked in through the door.

”Darling,” Han Qingzi waved.

”Qingzi, Miss He,” the man greeted with a charming smile as he walked over.

He Wuxue looked at the two of them and frowned slightly, ”When did you two get together? You didn’t even tell me beforehand.”

”Isn’t that what I’m doing right now?” Han Qingzi, her eyes squinting with a smile, clung to the man’s arm. The man was named Zhong Junxian, and his family owned a cultural company—a typical tall, rich, and handsome guy.
