Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 633: Chapter 632: You Leave If You Want, You Marry If You Want

Annie Davidson hung up the phone. Ignoring Maxwell Peary, she directly took Owen Lewis’s hand.

”Let’s go. Where should we eat?”

Owen Lewis looked at how fierce she was, and the corner of his mouth twitched. That’s the big boss, he thought. She dared to refute him so recklessly, and even refused. Why do I feel like my future is in jeopardy?

Owen Lewis reached out and pointed at her phone. ”Is that really okay?”

”What’s wrong with that? That madman Peary—I’ve wanted to ignore him for a long time.” Annie Davidson waved her hand casually, not caring about Maxwell Peary in the slightest.

”Let’s go eat. Oh, right! Let’s go to that Dining Hall I mentioned last time—the one that supposedly only allows couples.”

Owen Lewis was taken aback, finally remembering the incident. The last time, the two hadn’t confirmed their relationship. After their mission was completed, they were looking for a place to eat and happened to go to that Dining Hall. What was so great about a Lovers’ Restaurant, anyway? he recalled their frustration. They actually hadn’t allowed us in! Well, actually, they *could* have gotten in; it was just that he, Owen Lewis, had been too straightforward. He had earnestly told the waiter they weren’t a couple. So, of course, the two of them had been kicked out.

Owen Lewis awkwardly touched his nose. It was precisely because that Dining Hall served everything as a single portion, requiring two people to eat together. Even though they often ate from the same pot and slept side-by-side when on missions in the wild, or whenever conditions were harsh, this Lovers’ Restaurant... that was completely different!

”Let’s not go. What if they still remember us? That would be too embarrassing.”

”It would be best if they remember us! I’m going there to rub it in their faces!” Annie Davidson didn’t give him a chance to refuse. She directly pulled him into the car, and they sped off toward that Dining Hall.

However, it seemed they were fated not to enjoy their grand meal peacefully.

Because—at the entrance of the Dining Hall, Grandpa Davidson stood ramrod straight, as if he had known all along they would appear and had been waiting.

The moment Annie Davidson got out of the car, she was intercepted by Grandpa Davidson.

Damn it! Annie thought. It must be that madman Peary!

”Grandpa,” Owen Lewis, ever the polite young man, greeted him cheerfully. This made someone’s heart sink even further.

Grandpa Davidson snorted. The more he looked at Owen Lewis, the more displeased he became.

”Didn’t you say you went out for work?” Is this Owen Lewis her ’work’? Grandpa Davidson thought. She abandoned her perfectly good fiancé for a man like this—someone completely useless, who’s even involved with the underworld and lives in the Black Market day in and day out! How could he possibly be a good person? His Davidson Martial Arts Academy has always promoted righteousness, a tradition passed down through generations. Yet, in their generation, there had never been anyone as disappointing as Annie Davidson.

”The work is done. Is there something wrong with having lunch now?” Annie Davidson rolled her eyes, feeling utterly exasperated.

But Grandpa Davidson paid no mind to that and directly smacked her on the head.

”AH! Grandpa, I’m a grown woman! You’re still hitting me on the head?!” Annie Davidson protested. Honestly! I’ve never met anyone like him!

Grandpa Davidson completely ignored her protests. He glared at Owen Lewis again, then took the ring out from his pocket.

”Here, take this back.” Grandpa Davidson thrust the ring at him. ”In the future, stay far away from our family’s Annie Davidson. And you will sort out that marriage certificate issue. I don’t care what methods you use, just make sure I never see you again.”

With that said, Grandpa Davidson moved to pull Annie Davidson away.

”Grandpa, I’m not going! If anyone’s going, it’s you! If anyone’s getting married, it’s you!”

Annie Davidson glared defiantly at her grandpa, thoroughly peeved. Grandpa Davidson glared right back.
