Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 545: Chapter 544: Want to leave? Not so easy

Nia Mitchell was quite oblivious to the thoughts of the boys. When she saw Julia Adams saying those things, it felt like she couldn’t extract herself from the situation no matter what. Just then, Charles Northwood walked over, a faint smell of wine on him.

”I’ll take her home.”

After all, Fiona Sutton wasn’t a boy; it wouldn’t look good if she got drunk here.

Seeing Charles Northwood step in to defuse the situation made Julia Adams slightly upset. ”Professor Northwood,” she said, her voice sweet and charming, intentionally cute, ”we’re all here for the last reunion before going our separate ways to continue with our work. We have no idea when we’ll have the chance to meet again. Why are you leaving so early?”

Charles Northwood furrowed his brows, wanting to ignore Julia Adams, but suddenly, all the girls swarmed over. ”Exactly, Professor Northwood! We were looking forward to singing with you. You used to be our classmate, and now you’ve become our professor—how marvelous! If it weren’t for this reunion, we would hardly have dared to talk to you.”

At school, everyone saw him as a professor rather than a classmate, so they rarely spoke to him. Although they might have wanted to build some rapport, they were apprehensive, fearing that offending him could bring trouble upon themselves.

Gazing at their expectant faces, Charles Northwood found it hard to refuse. ”Alright then,” he said. ”I’ll get a room for Fiona Sutton to rest.”

He’d almost forgotten this was the Royal Dynasty Hotel—a hotel. Of course, there were guest rooms here. Booking one for Fiona Sutton to rest in was the best solution. Besides, leaving Nia Mitchell alone here worried him a bit; after all, the restraint everyone was showing was likely because he was present.

”Excellent idea! That’s our professor for you!” everyone chimed in, starting to butter him up.

With this solution proposed, someone suggested booking rooms for the drunk boys as well. In no time, everyone unanimously agreed.

However, even the most basic room at the Royal Dynasty Hotel was quite expensive. When it came to the cost, everyone found themselves in a bind.

”Class representative, what should we do about the money?”

”Surely they don’t expect everyone to chip in?”

”No way, that’s totally unfair!”

”It’s not *us* staying in the rooms.”

”That’s right! We can’t afford rooms for them. Whoever came up with the idea should pay.” People began to chime in, and all eyes fell on Charles Northwood.

Just as Charles Northwood was about to offer to pay, Julia Adams spoke up. ”Nia, don’t you know the manager? Why don’t you go talk to him? You might get a discount. The dinner bill must have been discounted too, right? Was it a 90% discount?”

Julia Adams deliberately mentioned such a steep discount, presumably hoping it would make everyone else more eager to push Nia Mitchell forward.

”No need, I’ll pay,” Charles Northwood said, reaching for his wallet.

”How could we let you do that?” several girls protested, then all looked at Nia Mitchell. ”Come on, Nia, just go ask. We can’t let Professor Northwood waste his money like that. It won’t hurt you to say a few words, and earning money isn’t easy for Professor Northwood either.”

As they spoke, everyone started nodding in agreement.

If Nia Mitchell really had that kind of influence, some people immediately decided they needed to get on her good side. If we hold our weddings at the Royal Dynasty in the future, we can ask Nia! We could save a lot of money and it would be so prestigious—truly killing several birds with one stone, they thought.
