Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 520: Chapter 519: You Don’t Need to Wear Shoes Now

Nia Mitchell shivered instantly. Good heavens, she... she didn’t mean it that way.

”I didn’t!”

Nia Mitchell abruptly shook her head. How could she prove her innocence? It seemed that no matter what she said, he wouldn’t believe her anyway.

”Uncle...” Nia Mitchell began to act coquettishly; this was a tactic she was sure would work on the CEO.

”Hmm?” Maxwell Peary’s Adam’s apple bobbed as he looked down at his young wife in his arms.

Her skin was beautiful, smooth, and tender. She often blushed, and when she did, it made one want to tease her, to bully her a little.

”I...” Nia Mitchell tried to think of the perfect excuse, wanting him to let her go.

However, it seemed a little too late. She could clearly feel a certain part of the CEO, who was pressing down on her, slowly rising and pressing insistently against her.

Nia Mitchell’s face turned crimson with embarrassment, and she swallowed hard. ”I... I’m going to put on some shoes.”

Didn’t he dislike her walking around the villa barefoot? Isn’t this an awesome reason?

”You’re on the bed now; you don’t need to.”

The CEO’s reason for refusing her left her speechless.

”Um...” Nia Mitchell racked her brain, desperate to escape, but couldn’t come up with any reason, not even a fabricated one.

”Uncle... I think...”

”No need to say more.” Maxwell Peary frowned, gently nibbling the tip of her nose. ”Let’s finish what I want to do first.”

The CEO spoke boldly, and so...

On this rainy afternoon, Nia Mitchell was pinned down on the bed by the CEO. This continued, time and time again, until she had pleaded for mercy several times. Only then did he finally let her go.

”Do you still think I’m old now?”

That was Maxwell Peary’s final remark.

Nia Mitchell rolled her eyes weakly. What a schemer!

The afternoon passed just like that. Nia Mitchell had already slept for two hours at noon, but after such strenuous physical activity, she felt drowsy again.

So, when she woke up again, it was because her phone was vibrating and ringing incessantly.

Nia Mitchell rubbed her eyes and reached for her phone. ”Hello?”

Her voice was lazy and slightly hoarse. With just that one word, Evelyn Peary on the other end of the line had already pictured everything that had happened that afternoon.

”Sister-in-law, you promised to come over for dinner tonight,” Evelyn Peary said, her voice tinged with a coquettish complaint that made Nia Mitchell feel deeply guilty.

”Ah? What time is it?” Nia Mitchell turned over, looked out the window, and saw that it was already pitch black outside. ”I’m sorry, Evelyn Peary, I fell asleep.”

She wearily raked her fingers through her hair and sat up. Why didn’t Maxwell Peary come and wake her?

”It’s alright, it’s alright, Sister-in-law! Take your time. I’ll wait for you here, okay!”

Holy cow, fell asleep? Evelyn Peary swallowed hard. If her brother found out she had disturbed his sister-in-law’s sleep, would he annihilate her? The mere thought of how Maxwell Peary might deal with her sent a shiver down Evelyn Peary’s spine.

”Okay, we’ll be over right away.”

After hanging up, Nia Mitchell’s muddled brain slowly began to function.

Huh? It seemed that morning, she had only said she would ask Maxwell Peary if he wanted to go; she hadn’t actually promised Evelyn Peary they would definitely come. So why, on the phone just now... Ugh. She really couldn’t figure it out.

Shrugging it off, she threw back the covers, got out of bed, and stepped barefoot onto the carpet.

”Uncle?” Nia Mitchell called out as she opened the Grand Gate of the Main Bedroom.

”What’s wrong?” Maxwell Peary opened the door to his study and walked out, seeing Nia Mitchell standing in the hallway.
