Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Capítulo 2040: Chapter 51: The Feeling of Promotion…

They did not receive Jia Yan’s legacy. After all, as an Outsider, Jia Yan had no obligation to help them, and as for that Giant Tribe family, if it weren’t for Jia Yan seeing their utility, he might not have moved to help either.

But these creatures were somewhat on Jia Yan’s side. Though not bound by sentiment, there was a touch of camaraderie, so Jia Yan sheltered them.

“These days, my strength has skyrocketed like a rocket. If I weren’t an Evolutionary Creature, I might have experienced instability despite gaining strong insights by learning from several Paths of this world.”

“It’s just that the rapid increase in strength, due to the Giant Tribe’s blood, leaves too much uncertainty for me. To find the balance behind this feeling, or to find the most suitable blood for me to Devour, I need more versions of Giant Tribe blood…”

Jia Yan’s eyes brightened.

He knew Pierz and the so-called Captain of the Night Patrol Team had some past conflicts, and since this world thrives on challenges, it was initially determined that Pierz should challenge him.

And naturally, the goal wasn’t just to benefit Pierz; why would Jia Yan do something so thankless?

So, at this moment, the idea that emerged after Pierz’s victory was once again put on his agenda.

“Now, it depends on whether Pierz is willing to help me…”

Jia Yan thought about this matter calmly, and finally, five days after Pierz defeated the former Captain of the Night Patrol Team, when Pierz and his team had mastered Brainwave Power, Jia Yan posed this condition.

Or, it should be said, made this demand.

“Uh, you mean to have me collect blood from everyone in the Night Patrol Team?”

Pierz stole a glance at Jia Yan.

In this world, unlike the Universe Jia Yan previously inhabited, different systems result in different Energy Sense for creatures, making that universe a battleground where the strong reign.

But in this world, because of the so-called Path and bizarre creatures, blood is not something one can casually surrender.

With this blood, other creatures might cause your strength to deteriorate, make life worse than death, or even control you with the blood they obtained.

So, upon hearing Jia Yan’s request, Pierz felt overwhelmed.

Because no one willingly gives up their blood.

“Don’t say it’s impossible. This is your first task from your master, and it’s crucial. Get it done fast, or else, a disciple who only takes from his mentor without giving back is not someone I will keep.”

Jia Yan’s words were a threat.

If this were before Pierz defeated the captain, he might have really considered abandoning Jia Yan.

But now, he had tasted the joy of power.

How could he give that up?

“Master, I am not ready to give up. Please let me try.”

Pierz quickly knelt.

“In that case, show me your capability, otherwise, you think I need to handle everything for you?”

Jia Yan remarked to this older Giant Tribe man.

Pierz, with unease, hurried to where the Night Patrol Team was located.

Jia Yan didn’t really trust his disciple implicitly, but if he had to follow him to the Night Patrol Team every time something happened, wouldn’t that mean he was the one handling the battles?

He took these two disciples mainly to find a backing and see if he could go further.

Certainly not to burden himself with the work.

Since the Night Patrol Team had already been taken down, of course, it was up to this disciple to manage it. If he couldn’t even complete one task, it would greatly disappoint Jia Yan.

“This shows my master’s trust in me. If this blood is that important, entrusting it to me indicates that my standing is rising in his eyes.”

Pierz, while heading towards the Night Patrol Team’s location from memory, slowly changed his demeanor and considered how to win more of Jia Yan’s favor.

It’s hard to imagine that before this, he looked down on Jia Yan in numerous ways.

He even almost considered leaving his master when there was talk of challenging the Night Patrol Captain.

Over on Pierz’s side, Jia Yan was less concerned now; it wasn’t like he imagined Pierz would be challenged or ambushed going to the Night Patrol Team alone, right?

He had his own matters to tend to.

That was the increase in power.

“I can feel that my power, having constantly consumed the blood meals of the Giant Tribe, has reached some sort of critical point recently.”

“So, this is…”

“Stellar Class Late Level?”

Before coming to this world, Jia Yan never imagined he would endure such upheavals in the Realm of the Gods, crossing into this world.

Nor did he expect, with the help of the Giant Tribe’s blood, to make such rapid progress. In just over a month, he had reached a power threshold again.

“If I advance again, it will be Stellar Class Late Level. Once an Evolutionary Creature reaches Stellar Class Late Level, will its power not equal other Evolution Beast Predecessors, in becoming nearly invincible, even having a chance of defeating enemies beyond its level?”

After reaching the Stellar Class, Jia Yan hadn’t fully enjoyed the treatment typical of a Super Powerhouse.

After all, other strong ones are usually stable in one area, where their power yields no equivalent Stellar existence, and a Stellar presence sufficiently protects that area. Thus, others feel even an ordinary Stellar is esteemed in the Universe and lives comfortably.

But it was different for Jia Yan.

In his original universe, once he reached the Stellar Class, he was constantly embroiled in affairs.

In such circumstances, he faced overwhelmingly strong opponents, leaving him frustrated, feeling that even with his Stellar-level powers, equaling a Star Sky Beast as termed on Earth, it wasn’t strong enough.

But if he could truly cultivate to Stellar Class Late Level this time, it would be different.

There may be many Stellar class strong ones in the Universe, but Stellar Class Late Level, or even reaching Galactic Grade existence, would be exceedingly rare.

Evolutionary Creature’s Stellar Class Late Level is invincible within its level.

Jia Yan, even without reaching that level, already exhibited cross-level combat abilities, but if he reached the Stellar Class Late Level?

How terrifying would that power become, and might he have the chance to achieve what few have, exterminating a ‘Star River’ grade existence?

Even Jia Yan himself was unsure of the answers to these questions.

In any case, he now felt a hint of advancement.

That’s why he wanted Pierz to collect the blood of creatures in the Night Patrol Team.

“Master, I’m back.”

“Here is the Giant Tribe blood you wanted. Since I didn’t know the specific type you needed, I collected a sample from each.”

Pierz’s capability seems impressive after all.

Just after Jia Yan finished a period of cultivation, Pierz returned home carrying a large, blood-colored bag.

That large bag was packed with smaller bags, each containing a bit of a giant’s blood.

This made things much more convenient for Jia Yan.

“Well done, Pierz, you’re very clever. I’m satisfied with your execution of this task.”
