Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 2026: Chapter 44: This Is Master

”Hmm?”

Underneath the wooden board, Jia Yan had long known there were visitors outside, he just didn’t expect Shuang Hao to bring his father along.

However, the two sides were bound to meet eventually, otherwise, he wouldn’t have agreed to help this child of the Giant Tribe.

After all, a child’s combat power could never compare to an adult’s, and this adult clearly had much more influence in the Giant City.

”I’m coming out.”

Jia Yan’s voice echoed in the eardrums of the two giants.

”Uh, your Master? Why do I feel like the owner of this voice is quite weak, and why is he hiding here?”

Pierz still couldn’t believe that his son had actually taken a tiny insect-like creature as his Master.

But soon enough, the faint bad premonition in his heart started to come true.

From under the wooden board, a creature resembling an insect slowly flew out.

Casually, it flew directly onto the shoulder of the young Giant Tribe child, Shuang Hao.

”Are you Shuang Hao’s father?”

Jia Yan feigned ignorance and asked the giant man in front of him.

In fact, he had been following this giant family ever since they reached the edge of the forest, but even his disciple Shuang Hao didn’t know, let alone his parents.

And when Jia Yan’s voice rang out, the astonishing Brainwave Power reached Shuang Hao’s parents several hundred kilometers away.

”What? You dare to address my son by his name, you must have a death wish.”

Pierz was almost infuriated by Jia Yan’s words. To him, although he was not living well, he held the honor of the Giant Tribe in this world in high regard. Even if his life was hard, hearing about the greatness of the Giant Tribe among countless species was a source of pride for him.

Now, there was a creature he deemed insignificant, who wasn’t even considered a tricky species for the Giant Tribe, speaking to him in such a manner?

This made his anger flare up instantly.

”Courting death.”

His hand suddenly slapped towards his son’s shoulder.

He knew his strength well; if the palm landed, his son might feel some pain, but that creature would certainly be obliterated.

”Dad.”

Shuang Hao hurriedly stretched out his hand, struggling a bit to catch his father’s palm.

”You’re mistaken, he is indeed my Master.”

He quickly spoke to his enraged father.

”What?”

Just as Pierz was about to continue his attack, his expression froze upon hearing these words.

It was as if he couldn’t believe it.

He even wondered if he was hearing things.

Although he had a vague suspicion earlier, he couldn’t accept that his son would actually say such a thing.

Even though he had some doubts, he couldn’t fully comprehend or believe that his son had truly said such words.

”Son, have you lost your mind? An insect, how could it possibly be your Master? Let me see, I’ll show you how this so-called Master is destroyed by me.”

He tried to push his son aside.

But Shuang Hao stubbornly blocked his father.

”Dad, that punch was taught to me by him.”

”Uh? He taught you?”

Suddenly, hearing this sentence, Pierz was slightly shaken.

He looked at his son in a daze.

”That’s right, Father, the techniques Master taught me, and you saw the power of that punch yesterday, that was just the first day I learned it. If Master continues to teach me, my combat power could increase even more. Father, don’t be fooled by his appearance as an Alien Race, but he is genuinely capable.”

Faced with his son’s plea, Pierz was silent for a while.

As someone who takes great pride in his species, he completely distrusted Jia Yan, yet his son claimed that the punches he threw yesterday were taught by this seemingly weak insect-like creature.

”Alright, I’ll trust you this time. This... insect-like creature, what’s your name?”

Pierz asked his son angrily.

”My name is Jia Yan.”

Jia Yan replied calmly.

Knowing that his makeshift disciple would protect him, Jia Yan wasn’t flustered and remained seated on the young giant’s shoulder.

But he was ready to jump into the Subspace at any moment.

Fortunately, the giant father didn’t actually attack, otherwise, the combat power of a male giant could probably shatter the Subspace he was in.

Thankfully, no attack occurred.

Pierz calmed down.

If anyone dared to speak ill of the Giant Tribe, or if any other insect bothered him, he’d kick or punch immediately.

But before being a member of the Giant Tribe, he was a father.

Yesterday, Pierz saw with his own eyes the many punches his son threw.

He knew that the force behind those punches was real, and the creature teaching his son surely had genuine skill.

So in that moment, understanding that this seemingly insignificant creature might be the one teaching his son, he let go of his intentions to strike.

Even though he didn’t believe this absurd claim, some voice inside him urged him to wait and verify before taking action.

”Very well, you claim that you taught my son that punch yesterday, which he indeed told me about. If that punch involved his Master’s help, it would become a real complete punch. Now, you say you are his Master, then help my son show me the real power of that punch.”

Pierz said with a cold laugh.

Indeed, he wanted to see if Jia Yan could reproduce the power behind the punch his son delivered yesterday; if he could, Pierz wouldn’t object to his son becoming this creature’s pupil. However, if the diminutive creature had used some deceitful trick to mislead his wife and son, he wouldn’t hesitate to attack.

A male giant’s combat power is terrifying, and if Pierz engaged in combat, it was uncertain if Jia Yan could escape unscathed.

Of course, Jia Yan had no intention of fleeing because his teachings were truly based on skill and knowledge.

”Come on, Shuang Hao, since your father doesn’t want to believe in my ability, then let reality show him whether your Master indeed has what it takes to be your teacher.”

Jia Yan shook his head gently, then directed Shuang Hao to head outside.

The two of them arrived at the courtyard of the house.

Just as Pierz and his wife, who had come to witness, and Shuang Hao’s mother had gathered, another towering giant also arrived at the courtyard.

”I remember that among those who came to sign up for our Night Patrol yesterday, one lived here, right? Haha, it’s ridiculous, a common person who just walked out of the mountains wants to join our Night Patrol. It must be known that we all possess initial Dao Power.”

”That’s right, if he had Initial Dao Power, even if it was just the typical strength of an Initial Dao strong one, we would accept him. But having no Initial Dao Power and wanting to join our Night Patrol, is he just trying to idle away his time?”

Behind the tall figure stood another giant male who appeared robust and strong.

As they arrived outside the courtyard, they spotted Pierz standing inside.

”Ha, isn’t that the guy? Yesterday he didn’t find a job, and now he’s here playing with his son.”

”Wow, trying to teach his son how to punch, amazing, really amazing. A person without any initial Dao trying to teach his son how to punch—he could punch for a hundred years and still not become an Initial Dao strong one. It’s hilarious.”

BOOM!!!!

Just as the two male giants were saying these things, a tremendous explosion roared in their ears.
