Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1743: Chapter 41: Predicament

Originally, under war ordinance, how could this spaceship leave so easily?

However, when the fifth star gatekeeper learned that the small spaceship contained the ‘Fuya’, which exposed Jia Yan’s identity, and rumors spread among the media and public that ‘Lord Jia Yan’ had a romantic relationship with the female creature, they hurriedly let it pass.

Little did they know, Fuya had no relationship whatsoever with Jia Yan.

In such a situation, Fuya even managed to enter the highly secure core of the White Seed Star defenses.

“Why are you here?”

On the night of the stellar-level battle, Jia Yan was sitting in the main position of a collaboration meeting, looking at intelligence reports, waiting for a meeting with the generals. Unexpectedly, a soldier informed him of Fuya’s arrival.

“I came to seek refuge with you,” Fuya bit her red lip and explained concisely.

“Alright, I’ll have someone arrange for you,”

Jia Yan waved his hand and said.

Fuya’s gaze fluttered, she looked deeply at Jia Yan, sighed long, and followed the soldier away.

Jia Yan had no particular thoughts about her appearance; at this critical moment, he simply helped as a common friend. After all, they’d seen each other many times at an academy and could barely be considered friends.

However, his attitude led Fuya to misunderstand.

“What does Jia Yan really think of me?”

Under the peculiar gazes of soldiers and even some high-level personnel, Fuya was arranged in an extremely safe place.

After expressing concern for her family, a seemingly extraordinarily powerful creature approached her, saying he would arrange matters for the Elves.

Fuya was puzzled if all this was arranged by Jia Yan.

Unfortunately, if she knew the truth, she would only have a bitter smile.

Jia Yan wouldn’t help her with these; truthfully, he only saw this Elven girl as an incidental acquaintance, even calling her a friend was a stretch.

“This defense network can’t hold for long, so what should be done next?”

The avatar looked at the star chart before him, feeling helpless upon seeing red crosses marked on many routes.

Jia Yan had considered almost every tactic, some even proposed by the counselors below. Yet, even though none of them had a vague idea of stellar-level power, their suggestions were utterly unrealistic and had no effect.

“Let me think, there must be some way,”

Jia Yan racked his brains, knowing the opposing force would launch a full attack tomorrow, hoping he could withstand it for merely a day, that would suffice.

His plan was simple: if tomorrow’s defense falter, he would escape to the Adisa spacecraft with his avatar, then use subspace talents to entangle with the enemy, finally finding a chance to enter the Adisa spacecraft; escaping should not be too difficult.

But when he gazed upon the entire group of White Seed Star creatures, he knew a horde of stellar-level strong ones couldn’t forgive those who assisted him.

Even though Jia Yan didn’t care much for these creatures’ lives, he still felt uneasy; if there’s a way, he wouldn’t let them perish in vain.

“Let’s clear things up, staying on this White Seed Star was for resources, repairing the Adisa, and remaining here, because…”

Suddenly, Jia Yan’s eyes froze.

“That’s it!”

He suddenly realized something.

“Space Ghosts!?”

His heart rejoiced, and he looked at the star chart carefully, a faint smile appearing on his face.

On the following day, a heavy pre-war atmosphere hung over the starry sky.

Under Jia Yan’s command, numerous battleships filled with White Seed Star warriors, some rookies some veterans, agonizingly posed for battle in the universe.

Indeed, Jia Yan was using a group of ordinary creatures to combat stellar-level strong ones!

“Haha, this Jia Yan is truly insane, deploying so many ordinary creatures. Does he really think ordinary beings can affect stellar-level beings? If it were this simple, stellar-level wouldn’t be a synonym for strong ones in the universe.”

“It’s hopeless; Jia Yan is a newly promoted stellar-level, still believing in quantity over quality?”

“Facing such a stellar-level entity, with our vast army, being held back for a night is a disgrace.”

A group of stellar-level figures saw this scene from afar, deeply exasperated by Jia Yan’s approach, knowing that if ordinary creatures could resist stellar-level beings, they wouldn’t hold such high status in the universe.

“Don’t be careless, remember he’s an Evolutionary Creature, and used unique tactics yesterday that destroyed your stellar-level battleship fleet.”

Wu Da spoke calmly behind a group of Stellar-level beings.

Of course, even as he spoke like this, he didn’t really care much deep down. In the Cosmic Laws, Stellar-level creatures cannot be compensated for by sheer numbers. Especially since he is a Middle Rank Creature, ordinary beings, even if they pilot battleships, tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of them make little difference to him.

“Alright, the time has been dragged on long enough. This time’s battle is likely unable to capture this Jia Yan, so the mission this time is to completely destroy his foothold on the White Seed Star, and then probe his strength and trump cards to prepare for the next time we catch him.”

Wu Da said calmly.

The surrounding Stellar-level beings were momentarily stunned but understood that Wu Da was right.

A Jia Yan possessing Subspace Talent is not easy to capture. Even now, with twenty Stellar-level beings acting together, Jia Yan, using his Subspace Talent, can easily evade their joint capture as he did yesterday.

“That’s right, this time we’ll treat it as understanding his innate strength. Next time, we will surely find his weaknesses to kill or capture him.”

A Stellar-level being from the Stellar Academy spoke calmly to his companions.

“That’s the only way.”

This was what Wu Da said. Even if other Stellar-level beings were unwilling, they could only agree.

“By the way, since it’s been determined we can’t capture him, there are now two objectives: one is to try to force out Jia Yan’s trump cards for us to understand. The other is to damage his vehicle again, at least disabling its long-distance travel capability, making it easier for us to pursue him.”

Wu Da issued orders, and the surrounding beings came to their senses, nodding in agreement.

Their plans were certainly sound; the orders given by the Middle Rank Wu Da were rational.

But what they didn’t know was that while they were discussing, the ‘Jia Yan’ Evolutionary Creature they intended to fight was already out of the area they thought he was trapped in.

Twenty Stellar-level beings are numerous, but it’s impossible to monitor every million kilometers around the White Seed Star.

Plus, with Jia Yan’s Subspace Talent, he managed to leave the White Seed Star without a trace.

Now, while the group of Stellar-level beings is preparing for a strong attack, Jia Yan is right behind them.

“Hah, so ignorant about Subspace Talent and still hope to trap me?”

Jia Yan, within Subspace, looked distantly at the eager Stellar-level strong ones who had their backs to him, his expression icy.

Behind his arrogant figure…

Was an endless swarm of ‘Space Ghosts’ chasing after him!

That’s right. Yesterday Jia Yan thought of something—an item within the White Seed Star System that might help him—the Space Ghosts!

Especially when he recalled that the Space Ghost’s lair emitted the aura of Stellar-level strong ones, he acted immediately last night.

The process wasn’t simple; he rushed to where the Space Ghosts were, and to make the entire Space Ghost lair move, he paid a certain price, forcibly blowing away a small part of the lair!

Now, the entire Space Ghost lair was falling apart, chasing after Jia Yan.

Moreover, what made Jia Yan even more exhilarated was that the lair contained as many as five Space Ghosts equivalent to Stellar-level individuals!

“If that one White Seed knew that the Space Ghost lair he quietly placed in his galaxy contained five Stellar-level individuals, would he be too scared to ever try to plot against them again?”

Jia Yan looked at the vast horde of Space Ghosts chasing fiercely behind, even though he regretted that after this battle, they would definitely no longer provide him with more Ghost’s Blood, but he had no regrets.

“Kill!”

As Jia Yan’s true body just arrived behind the group of Stellar-level beings, suddenly, he heard the twenty Stellar levels roaring like a charge horn!

From behind, this scene was truly astounding; the twenty Stellar levels learned from yesterday’s lesson, concentrated on one spot, and flew towards the White Seed Star.

“Boom!”

Behind them, Jia Yan’s true body did not directly attack but led a group of Space Ghosts in circles within Subspace, while his Brainwave Power controlled and triggered the explosion of a heap of explosives ahead of the twenty Stellar-level beings’ charge path.

The starry sky twisted, with a blast of explosive light violently rippling through space.

One Stellar-level creature, not far from the explosives, was flipped countless times by the terrifying sound waves of the explosion, suffered minor injuries, and furiously returned to his charge position.

“Jia Yan, you little brat, if you have the guts come out and fight me a hundred rounds! What do small tricks count as skill!?”

He cursed, heart furious toward Jia Yan to the extreme.

“Hmph, you’ll have your fight later!”

A trace of subtle murderous intent flashed in Jia Yan’s eyes, yet he did not get angered but continued to lead the endless Space Ghosts behind him, wandering within Subspace.
