Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1710: Chapter 8: Secret Agreement

The teachers of Fifth Star University could never have imagined.

The student who killed his classmate during the day showed no fear when he faced them. Instead, his tone was on par with theirs, remarkably calm.

No, it wasn’t on par. Jia Yan’s gaze and demeanor seemed faintly superior to theirs.

This left the group of teachers feeling disgraced!

“Jia Yan, what kind of attitude is this? Killing a classmate and still daring to be so brazen. Does our academy not taking you out make you think that we hold you in high regard?”

“Exactly, there are many with talents far superior to yours, so don’t think too highly of yourself!”

A few of the teacher creatures almost leapt up in the hall, their immense presence fully suppressing Jia Yan. One even had a murderous intent, his eyes shining as if he wished to kill Jia Yan.

But to their frustration, Jia Yan was not affected by this aura at all. He even began to dig at his ear with his little finger. Although many of the creatures didn’t understand this action, they could see that Jia Yan didn’t take their threats seriously at all.

“This Jia Yan is too arrogant, certainly unable to accomplish what we ask. Why don’t we just kill him now? Just seeing him enrages me!”

A creature at the secondary level finally couldn’t hold back and made such a comment to the nearby teachers.

“No need, let me do it.”

A creature at the early secondary level, eyes gleaming, looked at Jia Yan.

“Jia Yan, if you want to redeem yourself, then you can’t refuse the task that follows. Understand?”

“I get it, hurry up and tell me, I have things to do.”

Unexpectedly, hardly had he finished speaking when Jia Yan’s words nearly made him spit out old blood in anger!

This average creature named Jia Yan was so infuriating that these secondary level creatures were almost driven to cough up blood by his words. Isn’t this a kind of terrifying talent too?

Suppressing the urge to kill, the early secondary level creature continued speaking to Jia Yan.

“Anyway, this time your task is to fight for a certain Lord of this Galaxy and defeat a creature coming to challenge. Don’t worry; his strength is about the normal level. Alright, go prepare yourself, and dismiss!”

The group of secondary-level creatures didn’t want to continue talking with Jia Yan, afraid that more of his words would infuriate them into killing this talent they had finally found.

No matter what, they planned to use him to fulfill the task first and find an excuse to eliminate him later.

“Hmph, this student’s strength seems just that. Maybe he won’t even return.”

“Exactly, it’s fine if he dies. It’s the first time I’m hoping for a student from our academy to die.”

The thoughts of the senior teachers echoed in Jia Yan’s mind, but he didn’t care at all.

Even the task they wanted Jia Yan to do, regarding the opponent he had to fight next, Jia Yan had already ‘heard’ about it!

“So it’s a challenger from another star system? Who would have thought that even in this Stellar Battlefield, there would be duels between geniuses.”

“But this doesn’t have much to do with me. I’m agreeing because the place where this challenger and I will fight…”

He had a peculiar gleam in his eyes.

“…happens to be the Garrison Star at the border!”

Thinking of this, Jia Yan smiled slightly. No matter the process, being able to take a look at the Garrison Star at the border was the answer he sought.

If this trip succeeds, then he doesn’t need to return at all. By discovering the weakness of the Garrison Star, he could exploit it, repair the Adisa, and leave, avoiding deadly confrontations with the strong ones of the White Seed Star.

“The departure is two days away. It seems this task is quite urgent.”

Jia Yan overheard another piece of news.

In this No. 5 Star University, and even throughout No.5 Star, almost no secret could escape Jia Yan’s ears. After all, his strength was at the Stellar Level, almost like a Divine Spirit to ordinary creatures!

Two days passed quickly.

However, within these two days, Jia Yan vaguely heard of an unusual inside story.

“Turns out the White Seed Star and the arriving challenger are actually allies, and this time they’re taking advantage of the exchange between geniuses to conduct some secret agreement?”

The news Jia Yan heard came from the Star Lord Mansion of the Fifth No. Star, which was the residence of a semi-permanent Star level strong one.

But because the semi-permanent Star level was still somewhat close to the Stellar Level, Jia Yan, to avoid alerting them, deployed a cautious approach and didn’t hear the complete secret. Hence, he wasn’t entirely clear on the collaboration these two major powers wanted to enact.

“But it’s alright. Whatever they plan to do has little to do with me, the now-arrived Outsider. Of course, if there’s something good…”

Jia Yan laughed.

Time quickly came to the arrival of the welcoming spaceship.

After dismissing the black bird-like creature that wanted to follow, Jia Yan and a Secondary Level teacher boarded the enormous two-kilometer spaceship.

This kind of spaceship is almost unimaginably powerful to ordinary creatures.

Even for Secondary Level creatures, it’s not something they can easily see.

“Alright, Jia Yan, I don’t care what your attitude was before; now that you’re inside this spaceship, you can’t be too excessive. Have you felt it yet? There’s a Semi-permanent Star Level Strong One here in this spaceship. If you provoke that Semi-permanent Star Level Strong One, not even I can save you.”

The Secondary Level creature, afraid that Jia Yan might act the same way he did at university, saying something to anger a Secondary Level Strong One, hurriedly instructed Jia Yan as soon as they stepped onto the spaceship.

Of course, he wasn’t helping Jia Yan; he was just afraid that Jia Yan might say something that could implicate him.

Fortunately, the worries of the Secondary Level creature were completely unnecessary. Even when he introduced Jia Yan to the Semi-permanent Star Level Strong One, Jia Yan still looked calm, neither saying the feared ridiculous words.

“Jia Yan’s attitude is too arrogant; good thing the Great Alien hasn’t blamed him, otherwise not only would Jia Yan suffer, but even I would be implicated. I won’t take on such a task next time!”

The Secondary Level teacher was almost trembling inside the spaceship’s designated room.

However, what he didn’t know was that, on the other side in the spaceship’s control room, the Semi-permanent Star Level Commander also had doubts about Jia Yan’s attitude and even his identity.

“The way Jia Yan looks at me is not at all like an ordinary creature seeing a Semi-permanent Star Level Strong One. Have you investigated his background?”

“Reporting, my Lord, we have investigated. He’s actually a miner. But recent information about him started as early as a month ago, and before that, there was nothing. According to our analysis… he may be an Outsider!”

The deputy hesitated for a moment before expressing his judgment.

“Oh, I see, the answer is out. But, from my perspective, this guy shouldn’t be a spy. What kind of spy makes themselves so conspicuous? I guess he’s a Genius from some force that got wiped out, then ended up wandering in the interstellar space. It’s no wonder he isn’t afraid of me.”

The Semi-permanent Star Level creature, after receiving the intelligence, pieced together a so-called ‘answer’ himself!

“But that’s alright. As long as this Genius is not double-minded and can be used by me, especially this time. If he can help our White Seed Star, why not treat him as a true Genius of this Galaxy? The Overlord welcomes such external talents.”

…

Despite a group of creatures thinking they could hide all analyses and conversations regarding Jia Yan from him, they totally didn’t expect that Jia Yan heard everything clearly.

“Heh, since they aren’t suspicious of me, let’s just forget it. Let the game continue.”

Jia Yan regarded everything currently happening as a game. After all, to such a Stellar Level like him, everything he was facing—whether Secondary Level or Semi-permanent Star Level—was just like ants. As long as it didn’t involve a Stellar Level Strong One or equivalent means, things were simply something he could brush away with a laugh.

The journey took another ten or so days.

On this day, a battleship reaching two kilometers arrived at a starry sky extremely far from the White Seed Star.

This is the furthest distance garrisoned by the White Seed Star.

In this far-off place, there’s a star-sized object as large as Earth, completely transformed into a perfectly fortified stronghold by the creatures of the White Seed Star system.

It is a defense border star body of the White Seed Star in this direction—the Stationed Troops Star!

“Welcome, Great Alien Lord, for your gracious arrival!”

When the enormous two-kilometer object got close to this star, several battleships ascended from the Stationed Troops Star, engaging in communication with the giant battleship.

“Is this the ordinary-level Genius brought by the Lord’s command? Truly a dragon among men, certainly enhancing the prestige of our White Seed Star!”

Upon seeing Jia Yan, an interlocutor, who resembled a toad-like Secondary Level creature, expressed praise directly.

His words caused the creatures aboard the giant battleship to show curious expressions.

After all, having stayed with Jia Yan in a battleship for over ten days, they’ve realized that this seemingly ordinary creature has quite a temper. Even the Great Alien Lord, a semi-permanent star-level strong one, had invited him several times without response.

This flattery seemed less than appropriate.

“Heh, the strength of this guy is just average. Alright, let’s go down. Anyway, I’ve brought him here; winning depends on himself.”

The Great Alien, indeed, showed no pride due to the commendation of Jia Yan.

Under the puzzlement of the welcoming Secondary Level creature, the group landed on the Stationed Troops Star.

“Is this the Stationed Troops Star? It really is heavily guarded…”

As Jia Yan stepped onto the ground of the Stationed Troops Star, he immediately felt a sense of threat assail him, which he found greatly surprising!
