Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1740: Chapter 38: His Target Is the Battleship!

Several stellar-class creatures from the West Union were still using brainwave power to communicate.

But then an explosion suddenly flared up in the starry sky not far ahead of them!

The might of this explosion was terrifying, its shockwave instantly spreading over the formidable team of dozens of stellar-class strong ones.

“What? Who?”

“Such audacity, do they not recognize the power of our team?”

“Absolutely reckless!”

The group of stellar-class individuals almost jumped in rage at this moment.

Be aware that the terror of this team reached a level even they could scarcely imagine, especially with a middle-rank stellar-class overseeing them. With this Senior, they could dominate the entire Stellar Battlefield.

And now, someone so blind dared to attack them first?

A stellar-class battleship was severely damaged in the explosion, and the stellar-class strong one himself flew out from the explosion center, bruised and battered. Though not heavily injured, he was swearing furiously and was on the brink of bursting with anger.

The group of stellar-class looked around the explosion point and just caught a glimpse of a flying black shadow, instantly vanishing into subspace.

“What? It’s Jia Yan!”

“Damn it, is there really such a fool under the sky? Facing a force like ours, he not only didn’t flee but dared to ambush and attack!?”

“There are such idiots in this world, how did he even make it to the stellar-class level?”

The group of stellar-class from the West Union, who were just saying Jia Yan couldn’t have stayed behind, had their faces slapped by Jia Yan’s sudden stunt. This bold maneuver left them dumbfounded.

Facing dozens of stellar-class creatures, any stellar-class strong one present would think, if they were in possession of such intelligence, they’d flee as far as possible without looking back.

But they didn’t expect that the so-called ‘Evolutionary Creature Jia Yan’ would dare such audacity, not only not fleeing, but ambushing them near the White Seed Star?!

This move was utterly unexpected and infuriating.

“He looks down on us? Attacking an alliance army of dozens of stellar-class members?”

“I am speechless, this infamous Evolutionary Creature tribe behaves this way, no wonder they face collective attacks whenever they appear.”

“Kill him, since he’s still on the White Seed Star, let’s eliminate him directly.”

Immediately, several battleships, seven or eight of them, couldn’t help but fiercely pursue Jia Yan into subspace.

In subspace, Jia Yan’s flight speed was neither fast nor slow; in fact, he wasn’t in too much of a hurry.

Within this starry sky, his subspace talent was still considered a decent escape skill, as long as that middle-rank stellar-class creature didn’t catch up, he believed he could survive without much trouble.

“First point… is to open up the distance between them!”

Jia Yan looked at the massive fleet of stellar-class battleships behind him, where his ambush had caused part of them to pursue him, while another part stayed in place, instantly splitting into two factions.

Neither side was easy to deal with, and for now, Jia Yan couldn’t possibly defeat either.

“Can’t show up, showing up means death.”

Jia Yan knew that both sides had more strong ones than he could handle, so he wasn’t rushing.

The earlier explosion wasn’t caused by Jia Yan’s own body parts but by powerful explosives produced at the White Seed Star’s munitions factory. However, though these explosives were extremely lethal to most creatures, they weren’t very effective against the terrifying defense of stellar-class beings.

“If one bomb isn’t enough, then two, if two aren’t enough, then three, and I’m not aiming at your bodies…”

Jia Yan glanced at the exterior of subspace behind him, where several battleships were in hot pursuit, and even a stellar-class individual was operating a battleship with high skill, nearly catching up with Jia Yan’s position outside subspace.

If caught, even if the opponent lacked subspace talent, the brainwave power might affect his speed, leading to becoming ensnared by several stellar-class attackers, which would be dangerous.

But Jia Yan’s eyes shone with sharpness and he wasn’t worried.

“Ha, caught up! What subspace talent, stop right there for me.”

The stellar-class individual, using his exceptional battleship operating skills, reached the exterior of Jia Yan’s subspace, laughing heartily.

As an outstanding battle operator from the Stellar Academy, his talent was in battleship operating skills, and catching up with Jia Yan was due to his incredibly advanced operation skills.

Operating a battleship isn’t as simple as it seems, requiring tuning the engine for maximum pressure allocation and exceptional micro-control abilities. Every moment’s change in the battleship could result in huge losses in speed or agility, so both the Stellar Academy and the Genius Battlefield enroll a number of talents particularly excelling in this area.

“I have a battleship, where do you think you can escape to?”

He chuckled sinisterly.

Inside subspace, as Jia Yan was caught by the brainwave power of the stellar-class individual, he vaguely seemed to hear the person’s words.

“Battleship, huh? Heh, let it be destroyed!”

In the universe starry sky, suddenly, another intense light flashed forth.

“What? Oh no!”

The Galaxy Level operator of the battleship felt a chill down his spine almost instantly.

“No, my battleship!”

He let out a wail, but the bomb planted in the subspace wouldn’t heed his words. In an instant, a colossal shockwave enveloped the battleship of the Galaxy Level being.

Despite his efforts to maneuver the battleship to evade, even momentarily avoiding the blast’s most intense impact, all was in vain under the widespread explosion.

The creature skillfully piloting the battleship soon wept helplessly on the spot.

He flew out of the battleship, looking at it, almost in tears.

As a Warship Talent, the battleship was like a second life to him, and after operating it for so long, his strength resided in the battleship. Switching to another would make him no different from other Galaxy Level pilots, equating to a significant loss in combat power.

“Jia Yan! I’ll have your life for this!”

He roared furiously.

But Jia Yan didn’t pay any attention to this creature, nor did the few other pursuing Galaxy Level beings glance at this injured Galaxy Level strong one.

“Heh, I always said, purely Warship Talent is useless. Impressive operations, but in battle, he’s lost his greatest power just like that.”

“Enough talking, word is that if this guy had been prepared, he could’ve kited and taken down two equal-level Galaxies with his battleship. This time… he was simply careless.”

Several Galaxy Levels flew past the Galaxy Level Talented Person who had lost their greatest means, mocking and ridiculing.

As a result, the pursuit team lost two Galaxy Level members, leaving only six Galaxy Level beings!

“Among them… there’s no Middle Rank Creature!”

Jia Yan glanced back at the Pursuers, and suddenly, a strange expression flashed in his eyes.

Among the Pursuers, the one Jia Yan feared the most was the middle-rank Galaxy being. Jia Yan’s sudden attack earlier had deliberately avoided this middle-rank being, for fear of being caught by them instantly.

Fortunately, among the approaching beings, there was no middle-rank Galaxy being.

After disabling the engines of two Galaxy class battleships, only six Galaxy Level beings remained.

Jia Yan didn’t think he could defeat them, even if he could, he didn’t have the time. So, he continued his desperate escape.

“Everyone be cautious, his target is our battleships. Destroying our battleships will strip us of mobility, rendering us ineffective against him.”

“Correct, his plan is clear, continuing the chase is secondary. Avoid his explosives at all costs.”

“The White Seed Star has given him so much support, it seems we must truly wipe it out later.”

Several Galaxy Levels quickly realized Jia Yan’s true objective was to destroy their battleships.

In the Universe chase-and-run battle, a battleship’s role cannot be overstated. After all, no matter how fast a strong one’s speed, it cannot compare to an accelerated battleship, just like a human can’t outpace a car at full speed.

Of course, this is only the case up to the middle rank; at least all the strong ones Jia Yan has seen are like that. Whether this changes at a high Galaxy level, or even Star River level, he isn’t sure.

“There’s a bomb here, avoid it!”

Suddenly, a Galaxy Level flying behind Jia Yan shouted out and avoided a specific area in space.

“Hmm? Such a frightening sense.”

Just able to fly ahead, seeing the scene, he knew the Galaxy Level being had a remarkably keen sense, able to detect bombs hidden in subspace.

“But, even if you can discover them, it doesn’t mean you can dodge them!”

Jia Yan smiled slightly.

The next moment, the confident Galaxy Level who thought he had avoided danger, piloted his battleship to evade swiftly. Yet not far from the ship, a massive black sphere emerged slightly from the subspace…

As this part appeared, he suddenly felt a terrifying gravitational pull seizing his battleship!

“No, oh no!”

He was startled and tried to continue maneuvering the ship, but it was already too late.

His battleship, under the pull of the black hole, veered slightly, missing the mark.

And that slight miscalculation sufficed for the explosive to detonate, engulfing the battleship.

Pop pop pop!

Amidst the violent tremors, the Galaxy Level being watched tearfully as his battleship was torn apart, with the Smart Brain prompting that the ship was damaged and needed urgent repairs.

“Jia Yan, you, you’ve gone too far!”

He bellowed almost immediately.
