Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1446: Chapter 8: I Took Away the Black Hole [Request for Official Subscription]

The message released by the Splinter faction on the eastern side of the Auster Empire was nothing short of a shock to the Empire’s heartland.

Especially within the royal palace of the Auster Empire, they were almost the first to stand up and express their high concern for this matter.

After all, the other party claimed that their supporter was none other than the red-hot figure across the Orion Arm, Jia Yan. They dared not openly declare the statement illegal, for if it was verified to be Jia Yan’s words, they would be in trouble.

”Did he do it?”

In the royal palace, the ’Empress,’ who rarely paid attention to the news, had even taken the time to carefully review the statement released by the Splinter faction.

However, her attention was not on whether the Splinter faction had split from their Empire but rather on the current moment, focusing on the ’Earth messenger’ Lord.

”If only there were another chance to meet,” the woman thought with a mild bitterness, but then she bitterly smiled.

Jia Yan never sought her out, so she understood that she never caught his eye. Now that he’s come to the Auster Empire, he hadn’t thought to look her up, which showed that in his eyes, she was nothing at all.

”Your Majesty, you said you wanted to listen, that’s why I’m bringing it up. If you’re distracted again, I won’t continue,”

a minister beside her, somewhat angrily, remarked.

”I apologize.” The woman quickly straightened her posture.

The surrounding ministers, observing the seemingly hopeless Auster Empress, expressed their helplessness.

Of course, it was convenient for them to effectively control such an Empress. It wasn’t a bad situation for them.

Far away, in the former Splinter faction, now called the ’Earth Civilization, the Permanent Nation,’ Jia Yan was unaware of how swiftly his message was causing controversy, even within the Auster Empire’s royal palace.

He simply followed a group of leading figures, touring as they pointed and commented on the Splinter faction’s development.

”Lord, although our Splinter faction has only operated in this star zone for a brief period, we’ve formed a certain commercial scale. You see over there at the port, that’s our main port. When we initially arrived here, this port was just a temporary docking for our warships, and now, it handles the cargo throughput of hundreds of merchant ships daily.”

Accompanied by the other’s guidance, Jia Yan indeed saw a large port on the Splinter faction’s Commanding Star, bustling with cargo in and out.

”Hmm? Is your commerce very developed here?” Jia Yan’s eyes lit up, seemingly struck by an idea.

”Exactly, our Splinter faction holds little starry sky resources, so development was only possible by finding ways through commerce,” the Regent Emperor replied respectfully beside Jia Yan.

”I see...” Jia Yan nodded. ”Then how about if I let you try engaging in commerce on Earth? Any thoughts?”

Upon hearing Jia Yan’s question, several Auster high officials exchanged glances.

Then quick flashes of joy appeared in their eyes.

They understood that this was the time for Jia Yan’s inquiries, and especially with this topic, performing well could potentially influence the major trend of the Earth civilization. If they answered well and provided even a bit of help to Lord Jia Yan, they would undoubtedly hold a higher position as a vassal nation.

”Lord, Earth’s civilization is located outside both the Auster and Ru Lan civilizations, neighboring another boundary Empire. If we can properly utilize this geographical position, commerce might indeed be promoted.”

Hearing their response, Jia Yan nodded with a flash of joy.

In fact, he had been racking his brains over Earth’s current development. After all, relying solely on his personal strength could only somewhat elevate Earth’s influence, but for the civilization to truly rise, other specialties were needed.

Regarding combat and technological civilization, Earth couldn’t hope to match the Great Empires in thousands of years, no matter how hard it tried.

But starting with commerce wasn’t impossible. Jia Yan’s personal influence might even play a minor role in this area.

”Very well, thank you for your valuable suggestions.”

After listening to their babbling technical jargon, Jia Yan decided to hand over such matters to the professionals on Earth. Overall, he was confident that this group of people in the Splinter faction must be skilled in this field.

Just by observing how they established such a prosperous sphere in the war-ridden Auster Empire, it’s evident they have commercial capabilities.

”Alright, Lord, we’ve arrived at the place where the black hole is sealed.”

Arriving at an enormous building, several high-ranking officials halted.

Without their indication, Jia Yan could already sense it. Around the massive building, the space seemed subtly twisted, presumably caused by the artificial black hole.

”Lord, previously, the Biochemical Empire used this black hole to threaten us. After their defeat, we had no means to seal it properly. We could only use the simplest, albeit clumsy way, by utilizing the counter-gravitational devices inside the building to offset its gravitational force. Therefore, although we consider it a trump card against the Auster Empire’s government forces, we constantly live under the threat of its explosion. It’s both a worry and an expectancy, while we remain helpless against it,”

the Regent Emperor said with a wry smile to Jia Yan.

Jia Yan nodded. Even he could see that every corner of this building was equipped with precise instruments to suppress the internal gravity. Yet, if any malfunction occurred in the equipment or there were an abrupt power outage even for a moment, it would lead to a catastrophic disaster.

The entire prosperous star body would be reduced to ashes, and all the high officials, one and all, would have no escape.

”Since it also troubles you, and by becoming Earth’s vassal nation you no longer need it, I will take it away then.”

Jia Yan glanced at the massive building, speaking lightly.

”Uh... Lord Jia Yan, forgive me for speaking out of turn, but moving this thing isn’t that simple. How will you take it away?”

The Regent Emperor looked at Jia Yan, and then hesitantly asked.

As far as he knew, Jia Yan piloted a very small spacecraft to this area beyond the starry sky. Although they couldn’t detect that craft at the moment, it definitely wasn’t something that could drag a black hole.

”Heh, just like that.”

Jia Yan glanced at the other, then walked to the enormous building wall.

He took a step towards the wall, and those high-ranking officials initially thought Jia Yan might have lost his mind, actually trying to crash into the wall. But the next moment, they all widened their eyes.

It turned out that as Jia Yan stepped forward, his foot seemed to pass through the wall, disappearing directly. Following that, he himself ’drilled’ into the wall, vanishing within it.

”Is the Lord inside just like that? Walking through walls?” The Regent Emperor stood dumbstruck looking at the wall, hardly believing his eyes.

”Haha, this is the true strong one, his methods are beyond our understanding.”

A master level strongman, upon seeing this event, finally shook his head with a wry smile.

Originally, he was quite confident, thinking Jia Yan seemed just ordinary, though under his great fame, there were no false men. He was destined not to defeat Jia Yan, but he felt he could at least withstand a blow or two from Jia Yan. But now, seeing this, he realized how naive he was.

”But Lord Jia Yan went inside, can he withstand the black hole’s gravitational force? How will he take it away? I always thought he would use some large machinery, but he went in just like that with empty hands.”

”What nonsense are you talking about? The Lord went in to take a look first, as for that black hole’s gravity, for people of his mastery, they will always find a way to deal with it. Just wait, the Lord will tell us the method to bring the black hole with him when he comes out.”

While the outside high-level officials were babbling, they suddenly felt an inexplicable wave.

When they curiously probed, they found nothing.

”Could it be that Lord Jia Yan is testing the black hole inside? The Lord is really amazing, coming so close to that black hole and testing things inside while we didn’t even dare to approach.”

Several high-ranking officials looked at the interior of the building in amazement.

In less than a minute, they saw a figure appear on the surface of the building, seemingly passing through the wall, but in fact, Jia Yan was traversing through subspace, walking out from inside.

”Lord, how did it go? Did you see the black hole?”

The Regent Emperor hurried forward, sycophantically asking Jia Yan.

”Hmm, I saw it.” Jia Yan nodded with a smile, clearly satisfied.

”It’s good you saw it, do you have a way to take it away now?” The Regent Emperor asked curiously.

Hearing this, Jia Yan smiled and turned to look at him.

”I’ve already taken it away, you being strong ones, shouldn’t you be able to feel the change in the gravitational force around you?”

”Uh...”

”Taken, taken away?”

The surrounding high levels all opened their eyes wide, as if they had seen a ghost.

The entire Flank Division power dreaded that black hole like a tiger, yet needed it to threaten the government troops of the Auster Empire, and couldn’t let it go far. Every move was an extremely painful thing. Jia Yan went in alone with bare hands and then came out and said he took it away?!

It must be a joke.

But, how could Jia Yan, as a top strongman, joke with them!

”Was the earlier wave perhaps...” The Regent Emperor was almost dumbfounded, then gave orders.

He actually unconditionally believed Jia Yan, directly opening the giant building’s door.

Once the group entered, each was left speechless with shock.

In front of them, where the black hole was originally placed, nothing was left, only the sophisticated instruments on the ground. The small artificial black hole, which was supposed to be several stories high, had vanished.

What method did Lord Jia Yan use, that made the terrifying black hole disappear without a trace?!

Soon after, glancing at the astounded high-ups of the Earth Eternal Nation, a faint light flew from the former Flank Division Headquarters Star.

”Hehe, finally got it. With this, the combat power of this avatar has soared geometrically!”

In the dim light, Jia Yan looked at the small black hole in subspace beside him, a look of satisfaction on his face.

Thanks to the Tragic Aquarius Brothers for another 1000 Starty Coins reward, and also thanks to the seventh spy reader friend for the 500 Starty Coins reward.

However, apologies, today I can’t even do a dual update, I’m slightly under the weather with a bit of a cold, dizzy, and can’t write the second Chapter. Apologies. I hope to make it up later.
