”What’s going on? I felt all along that the space around our main star was somewhat unstable just now.”

”Huh, now that you mention it, I had a similar feeling. Could it be a sign of spatial instability?”

On the main star of the Doom Squad’s power, a few Semi-permanent Star Monsters engaged in a discussion raised their heads in shock, one after the other.

”No! This is... gravity!”

Suddenly, one Semi-permanent Star Monster’s expression changed drastically. Ignoring his companions around him, he leaped up, smashing through the top of the building and charging towards the outer world.

This particular monster, with a Gravity Talent, had actually sensed an overwhelming gravitational force that even he, an Intermediate Talent at the Semi-permanent Star Level, couldn’t help but fear.

This level of gravity was simply beyond what any being could produce!

Beyond the sky, the raven-like Metal Monster swung its claw, splitting the space behind it. A pitch-black mass, already expanded to hundred-kilometer scale and nearing its limit, slowly emerged from within.

At this moment, the Gravity Monster from below, having soared from the main star, barely breached the atmosphere.

”This is...”

The Intermediate Talent at the Semi-permanent Star Level froze upon seeing the massive black sphere overhead, as if beholding the most unimaginable thing in the world.

”Maniac!”

He shouted in shock. His mind raced, recalling the accounts from his fellow operatives sent to eliminate ”Mo Ke,” who claimed the latter had brought an artificial black hole to attack the Doom Squad’s headquarters!

Indeed, this Metal Monster was none other than ”Mo Ke,” also known as Jia Yan!

”Impossible! We have subspace sensors and gravity detectors surrounding our territory. How did he manage to bring something of this size past our detection and onto the main star?”

The monster retreated as he screamed internally in panic.

As it turns out, the Doom Squad, being a faction in the Dark Realm, took extreme precautions regarding its safety. They had long considered the risks of subspace assassins and gravitational attacks, deploying numerous advanced detection instruments around their perimeter.

Yet Jia Yan had traversed deep space, completely evading typical devices. Even if those sensors could probe such depths, no one believed it worth the effort. After all, deep space was typically used fleetingly during spatial battles. Who could have imagined someone would map it as a route and even carry along a hundred-kilometer-diameter object of sheer terror?

The Gravity Monster immediately realized that the black hole emerging from subspace was about to explode. Even if he charged straight at Mo Ke to kill him, it would already be too late to stop it.

”Run, run, run, run!”

Rather than confront Jia Yan, he turned and fled panicked into the vastness of the Starry Sky.

”The Second Elder is escaping? We need to run too! When that thing explodes, it’ll be catastrophic.”

Seeing the Intermediate Talent at the Semi-permanent Star Level flee, the others quickly caught on. They too began fleeing at breakneck speed.

On the main star, the upper-echelon Semi-permanent Star Monsters of the Doom Squad who had been observing the proceedings with Brainwave Power were stunned, their eyes wide in disbelief before standing in alarm.

”What’s happening? Isn’t Tu Ka an expert in gravity? Why is he fleeing? Could it be that the substance that appeared is something even he cannot handle?”

”Enough talk, let’s go check it out. We can’t see clearly from here.”

Several Semi-permanent Star Monsters burst through the broken parts of the building, flying outward.

Moments later, their expressions changed dramatically as well.

They could now see it clearly: just ten thousand kilometers from the main star, a Next-level monster resembling a Metal Monster was unleashing his Space Talent, controlling a massive black object slowly moving behind him.

The Next-level monster himself was of little concern. Even though he was a sworn enemy of the Doom Squad—Mo Ke—there was no way he could escape from their clutches, having arrived right in their headquarters’ heartland, no matter how skilled he was.

But the massive black object behind him was a different story altogether—

A black hole with a diameter of a hundred kilometers?!

The moment the black hole emerged from subspace, its terrifying suction had already begun to manifest.

If a blazing sun constantly emitted energy outward, then a black hole was the exact opposite—a horrifying star-devouring monster with no escape from its pull.

Several Next-level monsters near the enormous black hole couldn’t withstand its terrible suction. Screaming, they were dragged in, one after the other.

Their involuntary plunge rendered the black hole even more unstable.

”Mo Ke? He managed to reach here? Is that an artificial black hole he’s brought?”

”This isn’t good. This black hole appears highly unstable. We need to leave now before it explodes.”

”Run, run, run, run!”

The Semi-permanent Star Monsters realized instantly that the situation was beyond salvageable. Despite being hailed as geniuses who had lived for hundreds of years within the Genius Battlefield, they knew this was beyond them from just a glance at the black hole.

”That Mo Ke is insane. Triggering the black hole’s detonation will inevitably kill him as well.”

”Forget him—just run! We’re not even sure if we can make it out alive.”

The Semi-permanent Star Monsters, faces grim, fled like mad.

They had utterly and thoroughly failed.

To have been forced to abandon their very base by a mere Next-level monster.

”Hah, think you can escape?!”

Jia Yan, watching the group of Semi-permanent Star Monsters fleeing in panic, was resolute.

This frantic gambit of his would be meaningless if he couldn’t kill even a single member of the Doom Squad.

”You won’t escape. Detonate now!”

Jia Yan withdrew the Spatial Stone stabilizing the black hole.

Simultaneously, a Spatial Stone behind Jia Yan’s body shot out, triggering an explosion of Spatial Stone power.

Though terrifying, the detonation of the Spatial Stone was dwarfed by the impending explosion of the hundred-kilometer-diameter black hole.

Jia Yan didn’t need immense power—just enough was plenty.

The moment the black hole lost its stabilization, a sudden glimmer of light appeared on its dark surface.

Its interior began to tremble, and the light grew ever brighter.

Not far from the dazzling light, the Spatial Stone’s explosion paled in comparison.

Seizing this moment before the black hole’s explosion, Jia Yan propelled his Conceptual Ship forward using the Spatial Stone’s blast force!

The massive shockwave tore apart portions of the Conceptual Ship’s rear. Chunks of material shattered and scattered into space.

Yet this destruction was not without benefit. The violent impact accelerated Jia Yan’s movement, his speed surpassing anything he had achieved before.

With this newfound velocity, Jia Yan forced open the subspace ahead.

And in the instant he dived into subspace—

The enormous artificial black hole behind him erupted into a fireball of catastrophic proportions.

After all, it was man-made. No matter how powerful its suction, it lacked the stability of a natural black hole.

It had fulfilled its purpose, but its life had ended.

The black hole’s explosion was unlike any ordinary fireworks display. Its unparalleled gravitational collapse shrank its hundred-kilometer diameter to the size of a palm.

Then the compressed matter turned from black to blinding white!

What followed was an explosive release of energy at, or even exceeding, the speed of light, shaking the heavens and the earth!

Under such destructive force, Semi-permanent Stars, Next-level monsters, Venerable-level monsters—every Doom Squad Strong One—were helplessly obliterated.

The entire vision was immersed in light. The sudden burst of luminosity surpassed the brilliance of a Stellar body. Even Venerable-level monsters would be blinded if they gazed upon it directly.

The explosion’s sheer force was beyond comprehension.

A nearby celestial body five hundred kilometers in diameter was propelled away by the shockwave, splitting into fragments.

As for the Doom Squad’s main star, despite being ten thousand kilometers away, the explosion’s power reached it instantly, scorching its surface. The searing heat turned its crust into molten lava in mere moments.

The fleeing Venerable-Level and Next-level beings were vaporized one by one. Even those with the strongest defenses stood no chance against this cosmic cataclysm.

Ahead, several Semi-permanent Star Monsters, desperate to escape, could only watch in horror as the devastation closed in.

”Damn it! He can control the timing of this artificial black hole’s detonation?!”

”Run, run, run, run!”

Despite their superior power compared to Jia Yan, the horrifying explosion rendered all resistance futile. They deployed every ounce of their trump cards to escape the blast’s deadly radius.

Even so, how could they hope to outrun an explosion approaching at near-light speed?

Having barely escaped over ten thousand kilometers, the booming force of the explosion was already upon them!

”Damn!” one Semi-permanent Star Monster cursed as despair flashed across his face.

Even after flying tens of thousands of kilometers, the black hole’s explosive force still radiated a fatal threat.

With a desperate expression, he turned toward a fellow Semi-permanent Star Monster fleeing beside him.

”Save my life, and I’ll avenge you!”

This Semi-permanent Star Monster—an elite High-Level Semi-permanent Star registry member among the Doom Squad—specialized in fields other than flight. This disadvantage meant his speed matched only that of the Intermediate Talent fleeing alongside him.

In a moment of madness, he grabbed the startled companion, who hadn’t even had time to scream in protest. The explosion’s pulses caught up instantly.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!!!

The universe trembled violently. Even subspace itself caved and warped, Distorted Space twisting further until it could slice through anything.

Within that treacherous subspace, a lone monster fled in frenzied desperation.

Fueled by the propulsion from the earlier Spatial Stone explosion, Jia Yan pushed himself to speeds he had never dreamed of reaching, to the very peak of his potential speed!

Not running was tantamount to certain death.
