Pshhh...

Enormous feet landed around the small cluster of buildings below the crater of the volcano.

Jia Yan looked around; in fact, this cluster of buildings occupied merely a square kilometer. The entire crater was funnel-shaped, larger at the top with a smaller space below, built upon the extinguished volcanic rock, which felt utterly unreliable, yet these buildings had probably existed for quite some time.

Aliens naturally had technology to prevent the volcano from erupting!

Jia Yan’s Compound Eyes refracted threads of light in the darkness as he released his biological instincts to detect nearby heat sources of life.

”Overall, there are about twenty creatures, including that enormous Cosmic Level and two at the Early Stage of Heavenly Level, the rest are insignificant minor characters!” he said.

Soon, he reached a conclusion.

The purpose of these buildings, he also figured out. The volcanic ores were rapidly transported upward via an excavation platform below, then shuttled back and forth on the conveyor belts of this cluster of buildings. When they were dumped from a space about five meters in diameter, part of them was in liquid form.

Those not converted to liquid were moved aside, and the liquids were sent the other way. Jia Yan saw them being barreled and then packaged as finished products!

Though the output was not as high as that of the Fire Energy Mountain, it was still a substantial yield!

Jia Yan felt a yearning, for those liquids were the mutant fluids he desperately needed.

The night was deep as Jia Yan continued observing the scenery within the cluster of buildings.

Most monsters were asleep, and even the ones awake were listless. Evidently, the work here was too tedious, and these monsters were already very tired.

Jia Yan did not focus his main energy on these common monsters, but instead, he concentrated on the Cosmic Level monster that was crawling on a pile of waste from the Fire Energy Ore!

This monster likely couldn’t directly absorb those highly energetic Fire Energy Ores, so it crawled on a pile of waste, its body faintly rising and falling, clearly also in deep sleep.

Jia Yan pondered for a long while before he finally figured out how to draw the Energy himself!

”My body obviously needs a lot of Energy, and their single batch of output might not even be enough for one repair! So for now, I could try stealing that already ’finished’ liquid Energy!”

Jia Yan knew it was not possible for him to enter inside the Fire Energy Mountain, not to mention that it was not easy to enter, even if he did go into the magma, he could be sure that the unprocessed magma and Fire Energy Ore were definitely less useful than these processed liquid energies!

Having thought of this, Jia Yan glanced at the sky.

After a long journey and cautiously climbing the Small Fire Energy Mountain, a lot of time had passed, and now the sky was beginning to brighten slightly.

Motion was no longer possible!

Jia Yan started moving towards that direction.

Different from being a Little Mosquito before, his body was now a huge creature, so his movements had to be even more cautious, especially since the opposition also possessed a Cosmic Level; if he was not careful, there was a great possibility of being discovered.

Luckily, Jia Yan was beginning to understand the use of Brainwave Power. Using his vast Brainwave Power to conceal himself, he tried not to make any noise, allowing him to move silently through the loosely guarded cluster of buildings!

Click...

After gently touching a pipe, Jia Yan quickly looked forward.

There, an Earth Level monster was listening to music, constantly nodding and shaking its head.

It couldn’t possibly have noticed Jia Yan!

Jia Yan breathed a sigh of relief, then proceeded with even greater caution.

It was miraculous how such a colossal monster, moving through the cluster of buildings without a sound, could remain undetected by the other monsters; this could only be attributed to the gap in strength.

Finally, Big Mosquito arrived at the area where the finished products were placed without incident.

Rows of automated trailers transported the barrels of finished Fire Energy Liquid here, placing them on a massive cradle. Once full, machines above the crater would start and pull these barrels up.

Jia Yan glanced at the trailer and sensed that it seemed to possess simple detection capabilities.

He dared not get distracted, merely using one of his front legs to quietly probe into the cradle...

Pshhh...

A barrel, over a meter in diameter, was silently hooked by him. Fearing it would make a noise, he quickly released a bit of Brainwave Power to levitate it!

Because this required a certain amount of Brainwave Power, he ended up releasing a bit too much at that moment!

Jia Yan quickly released energy, watching that Cosmic Level monster in the back.

Luckily, that guy seemed as if nothing mattered, showing no signs of movement.

The first barrel was secured!

Jia Yan’s Compound Eyes shone even brighter with a brilliant gleam!

Concealed behind a building about fifty to sixty meters wide, Jia Yan looked left and right, then softly, with his sharp front leg, pierced a hole in the top of the giant barrel!

Energy gushed out from inside!

”Very good! The titanium people from the underground gave me this kind of volcanic Energy Liquid, and even what they gave wasn’t as much as this barrel!” Jia Yan’s Compound Eyes glowed even brighter.

Without further thought, time was indeed precious!

Jia Yan raised his mouth needle!

He stabbed it into the hole.

Soon, a subtle sucking sound began to echo in this quiet space.

Squeak squeak squeak...

After the light noise sounded, it wasn’t long before it disappeared again.

Gulp.

The noise of an empty barrel hitting the ground made a monster, sound asleep in the night, curse at the robotic trailers. Afterwards, the monster fell asleep again.

The noise in the dark ceased for a moment.

However, not long after, the dark space was once again filled with a ’squeak squeak squeak’ that began to resound continuously.

Gulp...

Before long, another sound emerged from the ground.

But this time it was much quieter, as if the person making the noise was being even more careful.

Squeak squeak squeak...

Gulp.

Squeak squeak squeak... Gulp.

The noises here became more frequent, forming a continuous sequence!
