Charm point maxed out, inheriting game assets

Chapter 430: Chapter 253: My Girlfriend is Su Yu_2 Chapter 430: Chapter 253: My Girlfriend is Su Yu_2 Shangya, in Yan City, is already considered one of the top clothing design companies.

As the only son of the boss, she had no doubt about the feasibility and authenticity of the matter.

However, she was clear about her own level and qualifications, and if she were to be forcefully inserted into the company, she would surely attract gossip from her colleagues.

She was no fool, and could naturally see that Xiao Mingxuan had that kind of interest in her.

But since she had no such feelings for him, it was better not to owe him too big a favor, lest she make decisions that went against her own heart later.

“Uh…” Hearing her refusal, Xiao Mingxuan’s face showed a look of surprise, and after a moment of silence, he said, “Well, Lingling, think it over, there’s no rush. I have already commissioned DJRH to scout for a top designer, and it’s estimated that it won’t be finalized until the end of next month.”

Li Shumin next to her kicked Yao Lingling with her foot, her face flushed with a forcible attempt at composure, “Yeah yeah, Lingling, think it over, don’t rush the decision.”

Silly girl!

This was clearly a major project concocted by the chairman to groom his son, which would surely entail a large investment of resources and connections in the future!

It might even become the core brand of Shangya Clothing.

And you’ve just turned down such a golden opportunity to skyrocket to success!?

Yao Lingling wanted to say something more.

Xiao Mingxuan continued: “There’s another thing, the day after tomorrow is Su Yu’s concert, a friend’s bar will be holding a celebration event, with many people gathering to watch the live broadcast. I’ve reserved a good spot for us, let’s go together.”

“Ah? That’s great, we must attend!” Li Shumin said excitedly: “Mingxuan, make sure you send us the address later.”

“OK! I’ll definitely arrange it for you.”

Seeing Li Shumin’s enthusiasm, Yao Lingling could only nod with a smile: “Thanks, Mingxuan.”

She was somewhat averse to venues like bars, having never been to one from childhood to adulthood.

However, she had just rejected his offer once, and it seemed a bit difficult to do so again.

The three of them chatted for a bit more.

Xiao Mingxuan checked his phone and laughed: “It’s almost 6 PM; I suppose it’s alright to stay for dinner, right?”

“Of course, it’s alright! You’re welcome!” Li Shumin said, patting her chest confidently: “I’ll cook personally, what would you like to eat?”

At that moment, Xiao Mingxuan’s phone suddenly rang.

Looking at the caller ID, his expression froze for a moment. Apologizing, he pushed open the door and walked out into the hallway.

A few minutes later, Xiao Mingxuan returned with an embarrassed expression, “Sorry folks, something urgent came up, I have to go.”

Li Shumin immediately showed a look of disappointment, “Alright then, next time I’ll showcase my culinary skills for you.”

“Let’s go downstairs to see you off,” said Yao Lingling, feeling a sense of relief.

This was just perfect, for Tang Song was supposed to come over soon, and it would have been somewhat awkward having Xiao Mingxuan around.

The three of them went downstairs following the staircase.

Li Shumin gazed at the Porsche Cayenne parked in the car space, her eyes shining bright.

This President Xiao seemed to have no flaws at all!

A perfect tall, rich, and handsome man, with such a good personality and a sense of career ambition.

If she could marry him, how blissful her life would be.

“Lingling, think about what I said before, I really do admire your character and abilities,” Xiao Mingxuan said gently as he pulled open the driver’s side door and sat down, “Bye, I’m heading off.”

“Bye, drive safely.” “Bye~”

Just then, the sound of an engine came closer and closer.

A black ninja400 motorcycle swiftly approached.

Yao Lingling’s face immediately lit up with joy, and she waved vigorously, “Senior, over here!”

Soon after, the motorcycle slowed to a stop beside her.

Tang Song took off his helmet, a bright and handsome smile on his face, “Good afternoon, Lingling, Minmin.”

“Good afternoon, Senior.” Yao Lingling stepped forward, naturally taking his helmet, “I’ll carry it up for you.”

“Senior, you’re here,” Li Shumin blinked, looking at the newly arrived Tang Song as if she had grasped Yao Lingling’s intention.

She had to admit that this senior was indeed more handsome than Xiao Mingxuan.

Dressed in a fashionable light-colored casual outfit, the exposed muscles on his arms were clearly defined and strong.

With a high-bridged nose and thin lips, his stature was tall and well-proportioned, and his temperament was also excellent.

Especially the way he rode his motorcycle over, it was really cool and attractive.

Lingling was clearly developing a liking for this senior!

“Rumble rumble—” The Porsche Cayenne started.

Xiao Mingxuan, sitting in the car, poked his head out of the window, “Hey buddy, give me some space, I’m taking off.”

Tang Song nodded and parked his motorcycle to the side.

As the Porsche Cayenne disappeared from view, Li Shumin took another look at Tang Song.

She couldn’t help but smack her lips; even though the senior was very handsome and fantastic, President Xiao seemed great as well!

If she really had to choose…

Well, that’s the kind of scenario you’d find in a novel.

…

Walking into the familiar rental.

Yao Lingling put the helmet away and smiled, “Senior, I’ll take you to try on the clothes first.”

“Got it.”

Then, Tang Song followed her into the bedroom.

Yao Lingling fetched a white bag from the corner and pulled out several neatly folded sets of clothes.

Beaming, she said, “I had my parents help make another two sets of sports and casual wear at home, and I also made a set of the business outfit you sent me before. They’re all washed and clean, try them on to see. I took detailed measurements last time, so the size should be just fine.”

Looking at the pile of clothes on the bed, Tang Song was touched.

This junior he hadn’t known for long was genuinely nice, and she took great care in his affairs.
