Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3418 Ghastly Voidslime Realm Eater

A thunderclap erupted, and nothing could be heard or seen after that anymore as it blinded both Davis and Stella. They retreated, not knowing if the Voidslime Realm Eater was still alive or not, as space shattered in the area before them.

Retreating about twenty kilometers away, Davis and Stella glanced at the spatial storm over the shattered space.

They couldnʼt find the Voidslime Realm Eater with their senses as space was too chaotic there.

Two spatial giants like the Void Dust Tree and the Voidslime Realm Eater, could withstand the suction emerging from the void. Furthermore, it was like playing in their home territory, which made it difficult to track them in that environment.

”Sorry… I thought I would be able to kill it using that final blow…”

”Not a problem. This is why you were sent to train, so learn first and then make your moves accordingly. I will be watching over you, but I donʼt think my attack can help again…”

Stella pouted as she appeared to be sad that she hadnʼt gotten the kill, but Davis shook his head.

His attack was more like an ambush since it cost him four whole seconds to summon this attack.

Stella and the Voidslime Realm Eaterʼs exchange lasted for only about thirty seconds, and in that time, they exchanged an innumerable number of attacks, so it could be seen how fast-paced the battle was.

What Davis used was the combination of annihilative heavenly lightning, fire, and wind.

His attack wouldʼve killed the Voidslime Realm Eater before it entered Level Seven Immortal Emperor Stage, but after it did, he doubted he could do heavy damage. Still, he was confident with his tricks and attack its core, but for Stella, who fought in a straightforward manner, he guessed that she would be hard-pressed to finish it off that easily.

Still…

Raising his hands, he saw that the edge of his middle fingers was fried beyond recognition, while his palms also seemed to be charred.

He had shaped this attack to be like a railgun and was half-assed as it could be, definitely not considered a technique.

Clearly, his chaotic-tempered body was unable to fully withstand the might of a triple annihilative heavenly combination, making him laugh inwardly. His meridians had been slowly tempered by his Tempestuous Firestorm Obliteration Physique, so it was somewhat bearable to unleash three energies at the same time, but gathering outside and combining them seemed to be a tad bit over his limit.

Davis wasnʼt disappointed, though. Its destructive force was beyond what he imagined as it was as much as twelve levels higher, which made him feel prideful.

With this one attack, he could even kill ordinary Level Seven Immortal Emperors, and all it cost him were a few fingers that he instantly healed back with life energy since he could dispel his own aura with enough control. He didnʼt even use much essence energy for this attack, not even five percent.

ʼI could only imagine what it would be like to fuse all three of them and create— obliteration…ʼ

His lips curled with delight.

Now, he knew better than to not get ahead of himself as fusion was far off from him. He barely managed to fuse fire and lightning. He still had to learn fusion for fire and wind, lightning and wind, before he could barely reach the point of learning fusion for all three.

Davis wasnʼt impatient. Even if not in the Immortal Emperor Stage, he imagined that he would at least reach that level in the Empyrean Stage.

This made him remember Fairy Thunderblaze. If he could work with her and even practice with her, then his learning rate should increase by many times as she had already mastered the fusion of fire and lightning, the Firestorm Laws.

Nonetheless, when he finally comprehends Obliteration Laws, he begins to dream that he would have no opponent in the true immortal world, at least in the same realm. That was how destructive it would be in his mind.

”Big brother Davis! Itʼs nowhere to be found…!”

While Davis was imagining that no enemies would dare to find trouble with him, Stellaʼs voice awoke him out of his reverie.

”Seriously? Search better…”

Davis almost rolled his eyes at her. He had found the Voidslime Realm Eater already.

He shouldnʼt be interfering with this battle since it was Stellaʼs training, but he couldnʼt help but cast a glance at the space nearby, causing Stella to follow his gaze and narrow her eyes.

”Found you!”

She quickly shot toward the Voidslime Realm Eater.

Stella was sure it had already used its species technique since it had become a black hole and tried to devour everything in its surroundings. It was now facing the backlash from using such a technique. Therefore, she didnʼt hesitate to strike it.

*Bang!~*

She waved her hand and unleashed a torrent of spatial spikes, forcing it out.

”Ziaaa!!!~”

The Voidslime Realm Eater tore through the fabric of space and appeared in front of their gazes. It seemed to be struck by a spatial spike. Just when they thought that its weakness was struck, it actually spat out the spike with its mandibles that suddenly appeared using all its spatial prowess and unleashed a wave of air, abruptly flying away like a gas-leaking balloon.

”How tenacious…”

Davis was surprised. It refused to let its weak spot be struck and used everything in its power to defend and flee, even going as far as to sacrifice its cultivation to make a getaway.

He could sense its undulations actually dropping a bit.

Such a monster could be rarely killed, and the impact it could have in the true immortal world that covered a vast, unimaginable space was terrifying to think about, as it could have so many places to hide and slowly grow into a true Void Class Calamity.

It was truly a spatial monstrosity in his eyes. Killing intent erupted from him as he felt like it couldnʼt be allowed to keep living, but he calmed himself down, knowing that its fate was sealed in all ways he could think of.

If he and Stella couldnʼt kill it, then Ivy would.

ʼWait…ʼ

Davisʼs eyes suddenly narrowed before they widened.

Stella was following the Voidslime Realm Eater, but when he realized it, it was already too late.

The Voidslime Realm Eater abruptly shrunk more and pierced through the veil of this mini realm, intending to escape. Stella wasnʼt scared. She followed it into the tiny crevice it left when it slipped out of the mini realm like the time it invaded inside.

Such a scene shocked him, but since he was also following it to guard Stella, he shot into the crevice as well.

He thought there would be a spatial storm, but he couldnʼt be wrong as it was a spatial tunnel.

ʼWhat the… this creatureʼs escaping abilities are overpowered…ʼ

He could see it fleeing extremely fast in the spatial tunnel while Stella also shot through it, strengthening the spatial tunnel while she was at it so that he could pass through without being eaten up by the spatial storm that was catching up behind him.

This made him smile. He could be ultra fast with his movement art if he wanted, but let Stella carry him. This was her battle.

It wasnʼt long before they broke through another veil and fell from the skies, although Davis quickly regained balance and looked around.

”No!”

Stella shouted when she took a light step forward before she shot back into the spatial tunnel.

Her presence inside seemed to have caused the entire realm to tremble as though it was going to collapse.

ʼWhat the fuck…? This pipsqueak realm eater could ignore realm limits…?ʼ

Davis saw the tiny Voidslime Realm Eater trying to escape, but Stella stood at the edge of the spatial tunnel, unable to enter. If she forced through, she might really cause the realm to collapse. She couldnʼt care less if this was an empty realm, but she and Davis could sense millions of lives here.

”What...!? Who are you?”

”What was that just now?”

”Speak! Men arenʼt allowed here!”

In the distance, three green-robed women pointed their spears at him. They seemed to be at the Immortal King Stage, fear reveling in their eyes as they looked at him and Stella up in the skies.

Davis was not surprised but surprised he fell right at their location.

It was too much of a coincidence to be brushed off.

Still, he felt like he couldnʼt be bothered. He shot towards the Voidslime Realm Eater that was intending to escape again. It seemed to have undergone an extreme change where the density of its undulations was similar to the Immortal King Stage. He couldnʼt believe how elusive it was, but he guessed at this point, it fully intended to escape as it seemed to have lost offensive prowess in exchange for being fast.

Despite being giving off undulations at the Immortal King Stage, its prowess was much as it had been before, but since it wasnʼt attacking him, he saw that it really couldnʼt fight back.

*Bang!~*

It broke the wall in its path through the pure physical force of its gelatinous spatial body as it left a hole and intruded upon the Jade Lotus Valley, causing Davis to clench his fist and unleash an attack!
