Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3403 Cyan Den Mini Realm

”What is this damned creature? How did it enter our Cyan Den Mini Realm?”

”Careful. Donʼt approach this strange lifeform. Itʼs a Late Stage Immortal Emperor, possibly at Level Seven…”

”Call the other Ancestors and the Patriarch. We got ourselves a situation on our hands…”

Three Mid Stage Immortal Emperorsʼ expressions went solemn.

Davis looked at the white-green-robed Cyan Soul Rat Clan individuals who spoke openly as they maintained their distance from the Voidslime Realm Eater. They slowly reeled back as though afraid that they would rudely awaken it.

The Voidslime Realm Eater also seemed to have noticed them, but like before, it didnʼt even consider them a threat.

Davis could tell that there was a basic level of intelligence that this Voidslime Realm Eater carried. It knew to survey for danger and check for risks before it moved onto a new mini-realm to consume. Perhaps that was why it had been quite confusing for it to see a puny Immortal King like him manage to follow it. However, it didnʼt seem to understand their speech since it ignored their call for reinforcements, so he guessed that its intelligence must be at the level of Feral Beasts, although highly cautious.

Turning to look around, he saw a few more individuals appear in a few seconds, including the Cyan Soul Rat Clanʼs Patriarch.

He guessed that their cities must be close by since they came from different directions. Regardless, he could see that they were probably Ancestors of the Cyan Soul Rat Clan, as there were six of them, almost near to the Fire Phoenix Clanʼs Ancestors. He didnʼt expect them to have more than three, but clearly, they have retained their forces.

ʼThey had so many Ancestors but still chose to retreat into their rat cave…ʼ

Davis couldnʼt help but feel pity for them. They were smart but so unlucky enough to encounter him and this Voidslime Realm Eater. Even if he didnʼt come for them, he guessed that they would eventually be forced out of their mini realm or devoured by the Voidslime Realm Eater.

But according to their initial plan, he shouldʼve hunted the Voidslime Realm Eater with Stella in the previous mini-realm, so he guessed that he had changed fates again.

ʼBut oh well— Iʼm just going to watch them all get consumed. If they escape, Iʼll take care of them outside…ʼ

Davis shook his head and made himself comfortable as he sat on a rock on an elevated land.

His mission was to keep an eye on the Voidslime Realm Eater and prevent it from escaping until Stella arrived. Therefore, there was no need for him to interfere or go out of his way to massacre the Cyan Soul Rat Clan. Instead, a playful glint appeared in his eyes as he looked forward to see how the Cyan Soul Rat Clan would handle the Voidslime Realm Eater as it tried to devour their mini-realm.

Would they try to kill it? Would they try to chase it away? Would they try to seal it? Or would they escape, in which case they would fall right into his hands?

The feeling of cornering his enemies was such a delight.

However, he wouldnʼt wish this upon innocents as there were probably hundreds and thousands of young ones and children present here. But even outside in the ʼpeacefulʼ First Haven World, Davis also knew most cultivators would do this upon their own people as cultivators went power-tripping every once in a while. After all, those who lived for too long were bored out of their minds like young masters would, as they encountered little to no challenge that made them want to stand out to pacify their vain minds.

Nonetheless, Davis decided to sacrifice this mini-realm to the Voidslime Realm Eater.

If it had been any other mini-realm occupied by other people, he wouldʼve done something to save them, but for the Cyan Soul Rat Clan, he would watch as their mini-realm gets devoured since they were his enemy.

After some time, the Cyan Soul Rat Clanʼs Ancestors and Patriarch naturally came up with a plan to kill the Voidslime Realm Eater.

Secretly, they began setting up a formation around it, so Davis moved away.

The Voidslime Realm Eater didnʼt notice. Instead, it seemed to be digesting its gains at the moment as it appeared to have gone into slumber, its gelatinous spatial body wobbling more slowly than before while waves of spatial undulations emanated from it.

The Cyan Soul Rat Clanʼs Patriarch seemed to be pissed off beyond compare as he appeared like he was wasting his entire treasury to use this formation. He had fun listening to their drivel, but most of their conversation was done through soul transmissions, so he didnʼt get to find any secrets.

They worked rather fast.

Half a day later, Davis watched them gain distance before they activated the formation.

Four Ancestors remained within that formation, their hands clasped while their souls undulated crazily.

He guessed that it was highly possible that they were trying to destroy the soul of the Voidslime Realm Eater using a formation emulating their speciesʼ technique.

*Rumble~*

Cyan light surged into the skies, causing the space to shudder. The resplendent light then converged towards the top of the formation and gathered all the cyan light at the center, launching it down against the Voidslime Realm Eater!

”Ziiaaaaa!~”

A strange noise resounded throughout the area as space visibly distorted.

It was little doubt that the Voidslime Realm Eater was in pain. Its maws surfaced on its body, and its gelatinous spatial body squirmed while trying to move. However, it seemed to have slowed down so incredibly that it seemed nearly impossible for it to properly counterattack.

Davis knew this was the property of a Cyan Soul Ratʼs light. Their soul attacks had a petrifying effect that slowed down people. As a result, not only did it cause their movements to slow down, but also their reaction time, so they were feared.

But since it was a soul attack, it was not that powerful as a soul attack must penetrate the body first.

This killing formation seemed to have incorporated such a function and struck the Voidslime Realm Eater with full force while it was digesting its gains. It could be said that it received a full critical hit, but even then, Davis didnʼt try to make a move in order to save it.

The visibly distorting space and its scream made him feel that it was better if he moved away, causing him to take a step back.

Just as he tried to retreat, the Voidslime Realm Eater abruptly inflated in size.

”What!?”

Fattening up, it elongated in size and kept growing in volume with a terrifying speed, quickly engulfing the four ancestors who stood within the formation nodes from all four sides.
