Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3409 Cyan Soul Rat Clanʼs Reckoning

Back then, Davis had also slaughtered the Vast Sky Emperor Palace and the wicked path people with his own hands. However, he was unable to kill the children below three years old even if he hardened his heart. His heart bled to end the lives of the slightly older ones as well, but he knew they had already been indoctrinated and would know his face.

Even if they could not get revenge against him, their young and hot blood would be satisfied if they could carve a hole in one of his children or descendants.

He certainly could not accept such a future come true. Therefore, he had only spared the little ones who didnʼt even have much awareness.

Unless he became a devil, he didnʼt want to go that far.

Remembering his conviction back then, he was able to proudly stand and say that he would receive their challenges if anyone decided to have a go with him in the future. But now, he simply couldnʼt make that decision because this was an inheritor clan, and they had their roots in the true immortal world.

The rat was one of the twelve Paragon Magical Beasts.

As far as he knew, there were a few Rat Clans who were extremely strong, aligning themselves with the likes of other Paragon Magical Beast Clans. The likes of the Earth Dragon Clan, Fire Phoenix Clan, Cyan Soul Rat Clan, and other such clans were classified under the category of Saint Magical Beasts because they were the descendants of Paragon Magical Beasts.

However, the likes of the Azure Dragon Clan and Seven-Colored Phoenix Clan were classified under Great Saint Magical Beasts.

The Cyan Soul Rat Clan naturally had a superior race. However, he didnʼt manage to meet them in the Astral Forgeheart Minor Realm even though he plundered from them because they were no different than minor characters- no, they were cunning and kept themselves low-key.

They didnʼt make any great waves and hid themselves in the crowd. Since they didnʼt have a chance to make great waves and werenʼt targeted either, they never displayed their true prowess.

They had practically hidden themselves thoroughly.

They werenʼt the only Rat Clan, though. There were other Rat Clans as well, the one having a spatial attribute rather than light, which he guessed was the main attribute of the rat Paragon Magical Beast. They were the main force of all the Rat Clans, similar to how the Azure Dragon Clan was for the other Dragon Clans.

Therefore, he had to be incredibly careful if he was going to let them off.

Nonetheless, he didnʼt care if the Cyan Soul Rat Clan decided to sacrifice their own people. He had already decided the future for these people.

Thirty minutes had already passed long ago.

Returning his gaze to the beloved rats who tried to make another formation core in the meantime to test their luck again, Davis descended.

”You-!”

As soon as he landed on the surface, he lifted his concealment, and the first one to notice was an Ancestor whose expression turned horrified.

*Bang!~*

Davisʼs fist landed on that personʼs gut. He only intended to cripple, but because of anger, he was unable to properly control his power and ended up causing that person to explode.

A Level Four Immortal Emperor died just like that.

”Emperor of Death!”

”Itʼs you!”

The others also screamed out loud, some even doubting if the spatial monstrosity was sent by him as their scalps turned numb. However, that was not important anymore. They knew they were screwed and instantly tried to run in different directions.

*Bzzzz!~*

Bone-cracking sounds erupted as everyone collapsed on the ground as their knees gave out.

A terrifying soul and gravitational force descended as Davis used the Soul Suppression Art and spatial pressure to directly oppress everyone within the vicinity. The Early Immortal Kings directly exploded into a crimson shower, the Mid Immortal Kings suffocated to death and had their organs implode while the Late Immortal Kings directly fainted.

Only Xerax, Youil, and the other inheritor barely managed to retain consciousness, but their faces were planted to the ground as they felt intense pressure descending on them, crushing both their bodies and souls.

As for the Early Immortal Emperor Grand Elders and the last remaining Ancestor, they appeared to meet the same fate as Xerax as they barely held together.

Clearly, the Emperor of Death was holding back, but they knew more than anything that it was bad news as they felt like they were going to be skinned alive. At this time, they wished that they had died directly.

”Nooooo!”

Youil roared.

He refused to die for stupid reasons, such as Xerax and his Cyan Soul Rat Clan offending a calamity without his consent in the beginning. He tried burning his blood essence and soul essence, but they simply burned away, not giving him enough power to be able to stand up or even move properly.

The spatial pressure the Emperor of Death inflicted was just too strong.

”Hmm… not bad. I knew Space Laws would come in handy as I was lacking a physical suppression method…”

Davis was complacent with his Level Two Abstruse Intent in Space Laws. Ever since he reached Abstruse Intent, he has been able to use spatial energy freely to manipulate his surroundings. He had essentially strengthened the first spatial layer around the individuals so they felt restricted. It was rather a bland and unrefined technique, but it was still effective with his extraordinary reserves of martial energy.

”But what do you mean no? I thought you wanted to kill me as well, no? Was I wrong?”

Davis walked closer to Youil and asked, causing the other party to turn to look at him with bloodshot eyes. He forced an unsightly smile and barely shook his head.

”Please… forgive me… it wasnʼt my inten-”

*Bang!~*

Davis directly crushed Youilʼs head beneath his feet. The life energy covering his feet directly saved Youilʼs soul, and he then used the Mind Sea Extraction Mirage Technique to soulscour. Two seconds later, the soul directly shattered and was absorbed into his soul sea.

From this, Davis confirmed that every higher-up agreed to hunt his family down while others and Youil were forced to follow the clanʼs decision since they had already offended him.

”…!”

The Cyan Soul Rat Clanʼs Grand Elders were trembling heavily. They were unable to even curse as they barely could keep their consciousness awake. If it werenʼt for the threat of death, they mightʼve already fainted and collapsed.

Davis walked to the other inheritor and smiled at him.

Tears fell from his face, although he glared daggers at Davis. Clearly, he hated the way he was going to die but was still unwilling.

”Next time, I wish you rats will be born with an understanding and righteous heart, but I guess this was because of the inheritance masters of the Cyan Soul Rat Clan in the true immortal world who chose to send greedy and vicious rats to inherit their powers.”

Davis leaned down and reached out his hands to that inheritorʼs shoulders, making him stand up as he smiled lightly.

*Pow!~*

A slap carrying the full force of his chaotic energy caused the inheritorʼs head to be blasted into bits. Not even his skull could bear the impact and turned into crushed bones.

Davis pushed away the inheritorʼs corpse, causing it to fall and spurt a dense amount of blood on the ground from the neck. At the same time, he waved his hand.

*Rumble!~*

Thunder rumbled, and hundreds of annihilative heavenly strikes caused the Grand Elders to be fried where they stood. The next moment, annihilative heavenly flames fell, causing them to be burned alive into ashes, although they couldnʼt even release a scream before they died.

”…”

Davis frowned. He wasnʼt able to control his powers well because of his suppressed anger. Nonetheless, he turned to look at Xerax, who was trying to crawl away.

Like Youil, Xerax had also burned blood essence and soul essence. However, he was barely able to move, his expression stricken with fear and perhaps regret.

Davis suddenly released the spatial pressure, causing Xerax to flinch as he stood up while crawling, almost stumbling over before he abruptly stopped in his tracks and flinched back as he fell to his butt, his expression full of terror as he raised one of his hands against Davis.

”Wait…!”

I will probably release one more at schedule. If not, meet you next day!
