Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3401 Noble? Playful?

Davis finally moved his lips, ”I can agree to take care of Stella as that has always been my pleasure, but anything more than that is off-limits unless I love her. I hope Fairy Wix can understand.”

”Thatʼs fine.” Fairy Wix didnʼt seem offended, ”I trust my daughter has the capacity to help you and garner your trust and love. Your fates are already tied. I will be reassured if she can become your woman because I know to what lengths you would go to protect them. I only wish my daughter could receive the same benefit and live her life to the fullest.”

”…”

Seeing that it was only a motherʼs wish, Davis shook his head and threw the strange emotions out of his head.

The Void Dust Empress also supported him and Myria when Myria broke down a bit that day. Clearly, Fairy Wix may have been rigid, but that was also backed by millions of years of life experience, although it belonged to a tree.

From this, he was reassured that unique lifeforms also had full-fledged emotions as Fairy Wix was able to sympathize with them, although it appeared to be harder for them that they would rather mate and then develop feelings.

Surely, Nadia had come to understand what love was, which only left Eldia to comprehend such a difficult thing.

This made Davis smile lightly as he gazed at Fairy Wix.

Surely, Nadia had come to understand what love was, which only left Eldia to comprehend such a difficult thing.

This made Davis smile lightly as he gazed at Fairy Wix.

”Not all humans are going to focus on emotions of love. The majority of us are only looking to create the greatest progeny through the unification of stronger bloodlines, so this generalization of yours is a bit mistaken.”

Fairy Wix smiled behind her veil, ”Perhaps, but I think I can speak for us as there are only a few of us. Every Void Dust Tree seeks a Saint or a Saintess-like existence to ensure that we can be fed well so we can provide them a safe place to stay in. We are plant lifeforms who need to be watered and nurtured, after all. In return, we can shelter them from rain.”

”…”

Davis had no words to retort. Instead, he looked around, ”Does Saintess Lunaria visit this mini realm anymore?”

”Of course. Master visits this realm and uses it as transportation to all the parts of the First Haven World.”

”!?”

Davisʼs gaze fell on Fairy Wix in shock.

”Our speciesʼ ability is to create pocket spaces and is only unlocked once we reach the Immortal Stage. We can create a pocket space at the Immortal Stage, a small mini-realm at the Immortal King Stage, and large, huge, and massive mini-realms at the subsequent minor realms in the Immortal Emperor Stage. This space is a massive mini-realm spanning twice the size of your Grand Beginnings Continent, and the Void Dust Secret Realm could be said to be a large mini-realm. Is it any secret that I have multiple realms designated around the world, considering I can move swiftly despite being a tree?”

Laced in Fairy Wixʼs voice was undoubtedly pride before she continued in a dreamy voice, ”I have a recollection from my inherited memories that I could create a Minor Realm if I could ever reach the Empyrean Stage.”

”…”

Davis sucked in a breath of cold air.

The Astral Forgeheart Minor Realm was extremely big, and an Empyrean Stage Void Dust Tree could create something like that.

Looks like this unique lifeform was even better than the Ethereal Lumina Tree that a realm has because of the fact that theyʼre independent and were basically capable of moving around with their fleshly spirit body as much as they liked.

”Well, disregarding creating realms, I do hope you can accept my daughterʼs wishes as she has the opportunity to experience something called love, which I never got to experience. The closest thing I ever felt to love was probably the respect I have towards my master.”

Fairy Wix spoke with a hint of playfulness.

It seems that she adored Saintess Lunaria very much, causing Davis to chuckle.

”I can help Fairy Wix with that.”

”…?” Fairy Wixʼs expression turned confused as she inclined her head at him.

”I mean, I am more interested in you than your daughter, but since you seem to have a human, I guess Iʼm not allowed within your trunk, huh?”

Davis raised his brows with a teasing expression on his face.

This mature tree had given him quite a bit of embarrassment that he wanted to return the favor. However, seeing her continue to gaze at him without a reply, he couldnʼt help but feel awkward.

”Forget it. It was a joke.” He waved his hand.

This mature tree seemed to be really considering his joke seriously.

”Tell me more about the Void Dust Treeʼs intricacies I have yet to know. Oh, if it concerns secrets, then feel free to include it!”

Davis shamelessly asked for more secrets, causing Fairy Wix to finally pull her head back and smile lightly.

”The number of realms I can create pertains to my cycles. The size doesnʼt matter. I can create nine realms now, while Stella should be able to create one. However, to create a Minor Realm upon becoming a Low-Level Empyrean, I would probably have to dispel every realm. Whatʼs more, I also might have to achieve nine cycles in the Empyrean Stage in order to create more Minor Realms, although Iʼm not sure how that works.”
”…”

Davis suddenly wanted to throw Stella to her mother.

These trees were probably mini universe umbrellas or something that the resources they consumed are going to be massive!

He also learned a few more things, like how a Void Dust Tree can shift their true bodies between the mini realms they have created, giving them a better connection to their fleshly spirit bodies or a clean maneuver to make an escape.

It was such a useful ability that Davis instantly wanted to beg Stella back from her mother! After all, he could use mini-realms as a point of escape.

Fairy Wix also informed him about her cultivation journey.

Stella was given birth to when Fairy Wix was in the ninth cycle. This caused her to lose prowess by three levels. Her cultivation also took a hit as she reverted to Level One Immortal Emperor Stage. She gradually cultivated back to Level Six Immortal Emperor Stage until she confronted Reselius Zenflame for him, further using a Void Dust Tree Fruit to temporarily raise her cultivation back to Late Immortal Emperor Stage, but eventually fell back to Mid Immortal Emperor Stage due to the backlash, so she not only did her cultivation regress but she also lacked fruits now.

She was unable to reach the Empyrean Stage because she needed nine fruits to attack the bottleneck to the Empyrean Stage.

To give birth to Stella, she already used up nine fruits. The new fruit that was then painstakingly nurtured was then used against Reselius Zenflame, leaving her with nothing!

Davis was so moved and felt guilty that he offered to help her grow, but she flatly refused, telling him all was fine as long as she took care of her daughter.

After a few tries, he could only acquiesce. He listened to a few more secrets before seeing that Stella wasnʼt going to wake up anytime soon.

She was using all her psyche to increase her cultivation as much as possible, which only left him one thing to do.

Turning around, he cupped his hands at Fairy Wix.

”Thank you for trusting me with all the vital information that would allow me to better pave the path for your daughter. Since Stella isnʼt ready yet, there are only two choices left. I can only hunt the Voidslime Realm Eater by myself or allow it to escape to be hunted later. Do you want to do it my way or yours?”

Davis asked, causing Fairy Wix to descend into contemplation for a few seconds before her lips moved.

Nodding his head, Davis dispersed just like that.

It was his soul and body that had been here.
