Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 1320 - First

Davis didnʼt know if he should be glad that Evelynn remembered the experiences he recounted after they got married.

How was he supposed to explain that he and Tina Roxley were probably fated to be husband and wife by the heavens, but it got severed with his overuse of Fallen Heaven?

Even this was merely his speculation and something he found hard to believe, so what needs to be said about Evelynn?

It was more likely she would cast an exasperated look at him and say ʼfine, do whatever you want...ʼ with her current mindset.

Nevertheless, he still explained what had happened when he met her after experiencing this strange phenomenon after he broke through to the King Soul Stage, about how his emotions were confused, telling him that she was extremely important to him and that he loved her.

Evelynnʼs expression was a bit complicated as she heard him. Nevertheless, after he finished, she couldnʼt help but wryly smile.

”I donʼt think you need to create a fantastical romance story like this to convince me or others, so what youʼre saying must be true...”

”It is true...” Davis blinked, ”We can even have Clara attest to the honesty of my words...”

”No, I said I believe you...” Evelynn narrowed her eyes, ”But you have added yet another woman to your harem, you womanizing crown prince...”

Davis looked away as he had no comeback to this sentence of hers.

Evelynnʼs strict face faded as she smiled, thinking that he was adorable when he acted like that, having no words or excuses to offer.

”So she would come here to stay until you find the source of these unnatural emotions...? I understand. I was just joking when I said that youʼre womanizing because if that were really the case, you would use us instead of having feelings for us. I feel like I need another derogatory term for shaming you...”

Evelynn raised one of her brows, ”How about... a foolish man?”.

Davis became stunned, not getting what she was coming at.

”Husband, I know that you love us, but are you really going to share your one personʼs love that is limited with many of us? If it were like this, wouldnʼt there be a day that would come when you might become exasperated of any one of us and let go of our hand? Even if it were not me, what about the other women? The path youʼre following is something that most men might choose to follow but easily fail to look after their women...”

”Iʼm... Iʼm afraid that you might one day become disheartened with your decisions as youʼre still young...” Evelynnʼs eyes moistened as she finished her speech.

Davis remained utterly flabbergasted, wondering why she would say all this when he suddenly recalled Fioraʼs words. He remembered she said something like becoming exasperated with them because of the numbers and the headache he would have facing them while dealing with each of their individuality.

His lips became slightly curved as he couldnʼt help but smile.

”So youʼre now worried that I would fall out of love?”

Evelynn confidently shook her head, ”Iʼm not worried that youʼll leave me, and in case if you leave me, Iʼll come after your life and end you with the very same poison you have bestowed me.”

Davisʼs mouth became agape at her boldness, but she continued.

”What Iʼm worried about are the other women youʼre now taking and trying to make love with while you seem like youʼre focusing on your cultivation. I think... I mean, you havenʼt developed much feelings for them, so you would think of them as a burden, right?”

”Youʼre right, Evelynn”, Davis blinked at her.

”However, it is impossible for me to fall out of love or become exasperated with you all since Iʼm extremely possessive...” He appeared serious before wryly smiling, ”If I ever fell out of love with one of you, it would either mean that one person did something that I consider a betrayal, or Iʼm dead...”

Evelynn blinked before she smiled, ”If you have that much of a conviction in your actions, then I am convinced that I donʼt need to worry that youʼll turn into a sleazy and heartless man.”

Davis smiled before he raised his brows and reached out his hand to pinch her luscious lips.

”Did this delicacy just say that it would poison me...?”

”Hmph~” Evelynn averted her gaze as she closed her eyes and pushed her bountiful bosoms towards his c.h.e.s.t as if challenging him.

”If you can declare that you would kill me if I were to ever betray, then I can declare that I would kill you if you fall out of love with me.”

She opened her eyes and smilingly looked at him, ”It is fair in your words, right?”

Davisʼs lips twitched as he couldnʼt help but spat out the word, ”... Yes...”

Evelynn smiled as if she won and tapped his c.h.e.s.t where his heart lay with her delicate index finger.

”You cannot resist at that time just because your cultivation base is higher, okay?”

”Oh... donʼt you worry...” Davis l.e.w.dly smiled as he leaned and whispered into her ears with a sensual voice, ”Iʼll welcome your poison anytime into my body...”

Evelynn shivered as her expression became full of crimson as she knew what he meant. Her lower body trembled as it squeezed his rock-hard member, making her heave a heavy breath as she gulped and swallowed her saliva.

”We arenʼt done talking yet...” Evelynnʼs eyes flashed as she pushed him away a bit, ”You still havenʼt told me what youʼll do about Sophie and the others...”

Davis breathed in l.u.s.t as his eyes narrowed ever so lightly, but he refrained from shaking his h.i.p.s as he knew how important it was to Evelynn to know about others as she was the big sister. She was likely feeling more pressured than him in wanting to take care of the women in his stead.

She was doing it all for him, going out of her way to look after them, even sacrificing the bit of the love-making time she got with him to know about them, so why wouldnʼt he endure and tell her everything that she needed to know?

He was greatly moved by her sacrifice that he began explaining with a wry smile.

”I honestly donʼt know when I would marry them because I can only think about that after I marry Isabella... Not to mention that I have to find Shirley and Ellia, beware of ninth stage incursions from the Flowing Mist Sect, The Poison Lord Villa, and the Dragon Families. There are practically so many things to do...”

ʼEven facing an unknown, unidentified danger that is still a bit more bothersome than other problems at this point...ʼ Davis thought as he kept his wry smile.

Evelynn suddenly reached out her hands and wrapped him around before burying his face in her soft and perky twin peaks.

”You have all the time in the world to do the things you want to do, so just donʼt rush. Even Shirley, you bring her back so that I can apologize to her for taking you from her. I know that you voided the marriage agreement with her because of my adamance in wanting to have you all to myself initially.”

”...!”

”You donʼt need to give excuses that itʼs your fault to console me.”

Davis became moved as he was immensely comforted by her words.

When he raised his head and was about to say that it was his own decision that he voided the marriage agreement, she told him that he didnʼt need to give excuses.

He couldnʼt help but wryly smile, ”Are you trying to make me say that it is your fault to Shirley so that we can fall in love without hard feelings between us?”

Evelynnʼs eyes shook before she pouted, ”Youʼre going to reveal my magnanimous feelings that I distressed over for a bit of time just like that...? You canʼt use your Heart Intent like this...”

”The Heart Intent isnʼt that omnipotent to know what youʼre thinking, and Iʼm not using it right now...” Davis blinked.

”I appreciate your feelings for me, Evelynn. However, it is better not to lie. I was the one who made that hasty decision as I felt that I wouldnʼt stray from you, but things changed after I saw how the world seemed accommodating to polygamous relationsh.i.p.s. My cheap mind wanted to take advantage of that. I was selfish and made you suffer after I took Natalya, but you crossed that for me selflessly and even began to look after her, became sisters with her and Isabella, continuing to do the same down the line with the other women I have arbitrarily chosen.”

”With all this, if I told Shirley that itʼs your fault that I voided the marriage agreement, then thereʼs truly no saving me at that time as I would have become a genuine sc.u.m, Evelynn.”

Evelynn bit her lips as she shed two tears from her moistened eyes, ”Dummy, why donʼt you just use me...?”

Davis looked like he had heard something extremely funny as he chuckled, ”Because youʼre my first love as well as my first woman, you dumb woman. Remember when I said that I would find it difficult to love you all equally even though I would try to strive for it? Heh...”

His lips became wide with a grin while he had his eyes only for her.

”Youʼre still the one I love the most, Evelynn... That didnʼt change, and even Natalya and the others are aware of it...”

”Besides, even if youʼre not my first, I would never use my wom- uhmm!”

Evelynn sealed his lips as she pounced on him and stuck her voluptuous body as if she would never let him go.

Davis became enticed as he stopped talking and passionately kissed her while feeling her overwhelming softness fill him up with p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e.

She was soft as a pillow, delicate as a flower, and melted in his embrace like a moth that would willingly die for its love in the smoldering flames.

It made him want to make love with her for the rest of the day, and he instantly acted on his thoughts without further hesitation as he pushed her down and began to move with an enchanted grunt while Evelynn rapturously m.o.a.n.e.d.

Lovely m.o.a.ns and e.r.o.t.i.c sounds of flesh slapping resounded even as the sun began to rise outside!
