Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 1306 - Itʼs Him!

”F.u.c.k! I canʼt wait anymore! Itʼs already been ten minutes!!!”

Brandis Mercer rushed as he pushed away Aurelius, who kept convincing him to stay his hand for Tina Roxleyʼs safety.

”Wait!” Aurelius shouted, his brown eyes flaring in hesitation as he thought, ʼTen minutes is a lot of time to talk and more than enough to answer some questions, but it is also enough time for him to take her v.i.r.g.i.n.i.t.y! No! She is mine!ʼ

”Iʼm coming too...!”

He no longer hesitated and followed Brandis Mercer. They were already near Tina Roxleyʼs room, so they quickly arrived.

*Bang!~*

Brandis Mercer broke the door open as he kicked and entered, his face looking bold and angered. He saw the hall and his face changed, noticing that they were not here but in the bedroom as he sensed Tina Roxleyʼs presence there!

His expression became ugly as flames surged out of his body.

”Bastard!!!”

With a bellow, he sped through the hall with his figure blazing with flames. The searing flames reflected his rage as he entered the bedroom, but once he entered, he froze as he saw the scene in the room.

Aurelius also entered with a similar manner as his figure looked as if it were slipping through the void. He was using Space Laws to accelerate his movements, a spatial movement technique, but his usage of it looked mediocre at best.

When he arrived, he also simultaneously froze on witnessing the scene.

Tina Roxley remained standing, embracing the masked man of her own volition while the masked man who supposedly now had blonde hair, sapphire eyes, and a handsome facial feature.

”You brute! Take your hands off of her!”

Aureliusʼs expression went ugly as he pointed his hand at Davis, his killing intent brewing like the tremor of a volcano! He felt extremely humiliated that his woman was now holding another man with an ecstatic expression in her eyes.

He looked at the blonde-haired man in hatred, but his expression deflated as his heart shook. He found that face... a bit familiar while Brandis Mercer was stunned as well.

ʼItʼs him...!ʼ

The two of them had the same thought resonating in their minds.

”Thatʼs rude when Iʼm not even the one holding her, you know, you Mystic Diviner?”

Davis turned to look at Aurelius, a light smile hanging on his face.

Aureliusʼs face instantly distorted again, ”Tina! What are you doing? Get away from him!”

Tinaʼs expression was full of smiles as she tightly held Davis, appearing as if she didnʼt mind the stares she was receiving or the reprimanding she received from Aurelius. Her cherry lips moved.

”I finally found my love...! Why should I let him go?”

Davis felt a bit helpless as he heard her words. He was about to explain how he was going to make Aurelius a mindless slave without his protective artifact reacting because he had a special technique in store for him, but time ran out, and they knew the people were approaching as there was a loud bang in the hall as the door broke.

Tina reacted as if she was scared and jumped on him, taking advantage of him. His expression became awry as he wanted to both push her and not push her. In the end, Brandis Mercer and Aurelius entered the bedroom before they saw this scene.

ʼEven at this time... sheʼs stuck to me gladly, not pleading for Aureliusʼs life...ʼ Davis realized that even though she wanted to kill, she couldnʼt because of gratitude holding her back. But if it was him who made the killing, she was fine with it?

ʼCould it be that she has that much trust in me? Is she basing my character on what she saw in mere divination...?ʼ

Davisʼs lips twitched as he once again began to think that she was a crazy woman, ”I think you had enough, Tina Roxley...”

Only then did Tina Roxley let him go and moved two steps back, looking deeply satisfied for a mere embrace.

Davis couldnʼt understand the meaning of this embrace, but to Tina Roxley, this was something she wished for decades, ever since she witnessed the divination. She looked recharged as if she had attained bliss!

”Now then, Iʼve finished asking questions to Tina Roxley, and I had some satisfying answers. However, I still have some business with you, Mystic Diviner...”

He looked at Aurelius, feeling intense anger welling up within him but hid that behind his light smile.

”W-What...?” Aureliusʼs anger became a little cowardly, ”Donʼt think I will answer your questions. Scram from this place, or I will seek aid from my Heaven Gazing Sect to-”

”To do what? What wrong have I done? Mhm?”

Davis pressed as he raised his brows while Aureliusʼs expression trembled, not knowing what to say. Right now, he could see that this blonde-haired man was the person in the divination, specifically the first divination he had conjured for Tina Roxley while using her blood once.

This was something he could stand proud of as even though the divination became false, the man was still real and not some bogus, but now, he was the one pursuing Tina Roxley.

No, he had already decided Tina Roxley was his woman when he tried to divine her future again but couldnʼt! How could he let her go? Especially when he knew that she had the Fate Discarnate Soul!

If he did so, his path to the peak of the Mystic Diviner World would be crushed!

He gritted his teeth, brought his expression under control as he smiled, ”I reserve the rights to whom I answer to as a righteous Mystic Diviner, and you are someone I donʼt know, whom I have no business with. Besides, Tina, he isnʼt the one who appeared in the divination.”

He raised his hand and pointed at Davis with a bold smirk.

Tina Roxleyʼs eyes became a bit cold while Brandis Mercerʼs expression fell, ”What do you mean?”

He was at a loss in what to do because if this blonde-haired man was that person, then he really didnʼt have a second opinion as this was what his daughter truly wished for. However, now that Aurelius claimed that it wasnʼt like that, he became worried.

”Heh!” Aurelius sneered.

”Why I say this? Because, at that time, that blonde-haired youth in the divination seemed to have trouble with defeating Tina Roxleyʼs grandfather who was merely around the Seventh Stage if I recall correctly and even had to rely on the help of a strong purple-haired woman to kill him. However, this person...”

His expression became abnormally solemn, ”I fear that his cultivation base is already above the seventh stage! No youth could reach that in a mere few years from the time the divination had mentioned, meaning that this blonde-haired man is an impostor or someone else in the youthʼs guise! An old monster who had possessed the youthʼs body! And perhaps, thatʼs why your fate has diverged, Tina!”

Tina Roxleyʼs expression shook as she cast a look at Davis, feeling her heart tremble.

”Look, he was masked in the beginning, afraid to show his face. He probably divined the fate of the blonde-haired youth with some other Mystic Divinerʼs help and came in search of you! However, he didnʼt expect a Mystic Diviner like me to be here, and thatʼs your downfall, you old monster! Ahahahaha!”

Aurelius boastfully laughed as he pointed at Davis as he waved his hand, ”Now scram out of this place, you old monster! Or do you want the Heaven Gazing Sect to be on your tail, mhm? Just make a move instead of leaving, and Iʼm willing to entertain you...”

Davis blinked, not believing the amount of bullshit that came from this old fartʼs mouth. In a short span of time, after knowing that he was the real one, he was able to spin such a story that actually seemed to be likely from another personʼs point of view.

Davisʼs eyes slightly narrowed as he saw Tina Roxley and realized that she found it hard to believe in him and was doubtful if he was the same person she saw in the divination.

However, at this moment, he saw her eyes close before she took a deep breath as she turned to look at Aurelius.

”Is what uncle says true...?”

”Of course! My words carry no lies, especially in the case of you, my precious niece...” Aurelius nodded with a gentle smile.

However, inwardly, his face contorted into a twisted smile, ʼHehe, with my quick wits, and Tinaʼs obsession towards that youth, she would in no way look at him with those lovely amethyst eyes of hers.ʼ

ʼOnly I deserve it...!ʼ He secretly clenched his fists behind his back while that gentle smile remained on his face.

ʼWhat kind of hideous emotions are these...?ʼ Davis felt disgusted at Aurelius.

He acted completely good, but his thoughts were full of negative emotions like greed, l.u.s.t, power, each of them feeling more wicked and evil than the last.

To passively defend against a bastard like him, Tina really had to be smart to not be outsmarted by him.

He wanted to kill Aurelius right now as he felt enraged, but thanks to Tinaʼs warning, he now knew that he would be marked if he killed him. Even then, he could simply self-destruct his avatar and remove the mark from himself, but that would be a waste of soul essence. He felt using Fallen Heaven to make him a mindless slave was better as in this way, he felt that he would not be marked as Falling Heavenʼs killing method was seamless and undetectable in reality.

Moreover, he could extract a ton of valuable information from him!

After all, this old fart was a Mystic Diviner!

Just before Davis was about to make a move using his main body, a voice interrupted him.

”Is that so...?” Tina Roxley spoke as she had her head lowered, ”I will trust uncle if uncle admits to l.u.s.ting after me...”

”!!!”

Everyone became stunned as they heard Tina Roxleyʼs words!
